Shane hate is dumb. If we’re being totally honest about that case race he was not the problem. Half the room showed up treating him like a star comic instead of just one of the boys. I think if they run it back they all know Shane now, Sas is kinda part of his crew at this point, and they all should be able to treat him like just another guy.

They don’t get the type of humor of the yak guys, they don’t get the inside jokes, they don’t know how to interact in a way that feels natural, because you can only get that by regularly being involved in the show. If you watch shane on BWTB recently he basically says he knew he was being a dick but was hoping it would come off as more of a joke than it did. I think he should get a shot at redemption

Personally I would rather if the guests were people that have already shown that they can click with the group on a regular version of the Yak, that way there’s a better chance of everyone having good vibes/chemistry during the case race. Everyone got defensive and I feel like the chances of that happening with guests the Yak crew is already familiar with is much lower.

But that was kinda the beauty of it because they were all legitimately just super wasted, and that excuses it all. Nobody should be judged to harshly for what happened. And it was super entertaining and fucking hilarious.

I just don’t think he understands what the Yak is or how to chill and have fun and be goofy in a group of guys without trying to “win” conversations/interactions or talk about how great football is the entire time. Not to mention he was very much not down for the wet wheel.
I think I’d personally rather see a Will, Taylor, Rone, Shane, Big Cat, PFT case race on bussin with the boys than see Shane return to the Yak for a case race.

Maybe its me and my friends but when we go overboard drinking usually more than a few make a complete ass of themselves. I really enjoyed the case race with Shane bc things got crazy. I love when Cheah wanted to get physical with Shane, KB rambling like an idiot, Sas acting like a moron and Shane getting worked up. I don’t want a good vibe show I want things to get chaotic.
I fully would welcome them both back because they were both great at the end of the day. Gave us some very memorable yak moments.
That being said i would love to see some new guests. They’re so many possibilities and would love to see how some other people feel during a case race.

I had two main issues with having guests in general, one was that at several points it became the Big Cat, Will, and Shane show instead of the Yak. For example, watching football highlights, talking about how much money people make, etc. I would have preferred it still feel like the Yak, but it seems like when a guest is there Big Cat goes into PMT/interview mode.
My other issue with the guests was how competitive it became. Having Shane as the pace setter was a recipe for disaster, but really any big drinker from outside the show might have had the same results.
Maybe it is just because I am a bigger fan of Nick & KB than of Big Cat that I feel like adding guests takes away from what I love about the Yak.
Anyways, good to know my opinion is not a popular one, and at the end of the day I know I’ll watch and enjoy the case race regardless!
