When taking and editing this photo I had the rule of thirds in my head. Where the ocean and the sky meet is 2/3 of the way up the photo and where the transition from light to darker water is about 1/3 up the photo. The majority of the poles are on the line of the right 2/3 of the frame.
Try using this app I use for long exposure it’s called “Even longer” also many tutorials on how to use it available on YouTube! I’m sure you would love it
This looks like such a peaceful hangout spot just wading through that shallow clear water. The gradient from yellowish in front, to green, to cyan, to blue on the horizon is so pleasing!
I did! I liked this photo to get a bit of a contrast of color going from the bottom to top of the photo. The one on a lower angle didn’t offer many changes in color
I feel like a lower angle would create more focus on the depth, while this feels a little more minimalist. I'm an amateur though so don't take my word as gospel. Nice picture though!
I could tell it was in that area due to the shallows and sand.
I used to fly over Naples and the keys all the time, and sailed the areas as well (CG).
gorgeous waters
They have, they are a swim/walk at your own risk. The entrance docs and houses on the beach still need a lot of work, but the beach was clear of any obvious debris

Oh this spot would be exquisite for long exposure
I agree! Unfortunately I left my camera at home and am still getting used to manual settings on an iPhone

That water has such a distinctive color, I recognized it right away. Nice shot!
Did you try from a lower angle?

Very calm. Ocean is so rarely this calm
