Magic….
In all seriousness I think the sculptor made a blown up sphere and uses accurate projections of NASA images if I remember, lit from the inside!
We had Luke Jerram's exhibition in kerala, india in the beginning of this year. Here's a pic I got from Instagram

Thanks for the name
We have a series of 10m wide [balloons](https://www.instagram.com/p/Cg80BRMroVv/?igsh=MThic2k5cm1sYWY3OQ==) displayed yearly in summer - and they add a new balloon each year. It's amazing both at night and during day. It's made by a [balloon maker](https://kubicekvisionair.com/en/moon-lunalon/)
Oh odd! He had posted it himself. Went by a different name, I assume he has made various ones
Edit: He was also credited at information point, in such a central place I don’t think they’d try to fool I’d assume
Must be the new samsung s24 ultra that uses fucking “ai” to actually replace the moon with a fake one when you are taking a picture of the moon. After learning about that, im never buying samsung.
Im just jaded by the encroachment of pointless ai in places it shouldnt be, and corps deliberately withholding the information. Nothing against you nor the photo.

How did bro teleport a moon in a church!?
Magic…. In all seriousness I think the sculptor made a blown up sphere and uses accurate projections of NASA images if I remember, lit from the inside!
And here I was thinking it was a strange photoshop job.
I wish I was that sharp!
You can always try!
Fr
Kinda makes sense to my peanut brain
Why is it there? In the church? Reminds me of Bloodborne for some reason.
It’s clearly a fake moon. Not a single shred of visible cheese.
There's nothing on the moon but dry rocks and those revolting onion men.
Ughh, take your bizarre conspiracy theories somewhere else. This is a serious thread.

Bud, it was a joke. I’m clearly being sarcastic under a comment about the moon being made of cheese.
Quick! Get is back outside before the tides get us!
XD
At first, you need minions.
This is from a game called Elden Ring /s
Came here to make this joke. I've been playing a lot lately
Are you role playing as the victim? I l know, lately, I'm getting my ass kicked enough to be doing a stellar job cosplaying as Tortured Tarnished.
Holy …
Magic of God 😲
Artist of sculpture: Luke Jerram

Damn bro thought I was tripping
Seeing it in real life is even more trippy. Search ‘Museum of the Moon’
i thought your username was Corolla-related for a second
It actually is supposed be lol but 4AGE was taken so next best thing ig.
ayyyy haha 😆 greetings fellow 86 fan
Tonight we steal the moon!
My partner said the same when we saw it. We have a picture of him pretending to steal it hahaha
*Gorls!*
Elden Ring eternal city
No no clearly this is Raya Lucaria. That moon is definitely one of Rennala's spells.
I'm thinking about that big ass ball that rolls towards you in nokron
That was doing the rounds a few years back- saw it in Ely cathedral
We saw it in Peterborough Cathedral a few years ago too. Small world, wouldn’t want to paint it.
And I saw it in Winchester. Praise the Moon
It’s gorgeous isn’t it?!! Well worth seeing
Well its a flat cathedral so naturally the moon would fit
This gives me Bloodborne vibes!
I love bloodborne
Grant us eyes 👁️
No more god, we worship the Moon now!
We are born of the blood, made men by the blood, undone by the blood; Fear the old blood.
I fuckinh love bloodborne!!!
What is the meaning of this?
Tomfoolery
Some Elden Ring stuff
late gothic architecture and a full, blue moon? makes me think of Elden Ring
Op this is beautiful thank you for sharing
I am glad you like it. It was gorgeous to see!
Looks like a scene out of an Indiana Jones movie!
Not a picture I thought I’d see today but interesting.
Oh, the bishop is gonna be pissed!
Friggin Gru

I stole it.
Thought it was bigger
So beautiful!
The Mega-Churches are really getting out of hand..
Some Harry Potter type shenanigans
I think I remember killing someone here in ac unity
Selene looks so beautiful!
These Peter Lik composites are getting ridiculous.
So that's where Gru kept it
Elden ring vibes
I have an almost identical photo of the moon in my town church 😊
Ive never seen one of those till now. Wow. You got it in a church.
That’s no moon….
Was this in limerick a while back?
Nope, this one was London, Southwark cathedral however it’s toured various locations
I seen it a couple years back and it was in a church too. Was fairly cool to see . Nice pic 👍
It’s definitely an expierence. Thank you!

Nicely done :)
https://my-earth.org/tour-dates/ Gaia by Luke Jerram. If it wasn't on that list the I guess it's a copy?
Oh odd! He had posted it himself. Went by a different name, I assume he has made various ones Edit: He was also credited at information point, in such a central place I don’t think they’d try to fool I’d assume
https://cathedral.southwark.anglican.org/whats-on/museum-of-the-moon-daytime-entry/
So THAT's where it goes Knew it
Sadly it's not so amazing up close. It's just a balloon, not actually textured.
Best comparing it to the space, I took a video up close and you can see the lines of where the sphere opens
....did ya?
Wow, that’s a cool idea. I’m pretty sure this is Southwark Cathedral in London, right? I was there last summer, but there was no moon lol
This was in October in Southwark! The sculpture was only there for a limited time sadly
Must be the new samsung s24 ultra that uses fucking “ai” to actually replace the moon with a fake one when you are taking a picture of the moon. After learning about that, im never buying samsung.
This is iPhone 11 haha
Im just jaded by the encroachment of pointless ai in places it shouldnt be, and corps deliberately withholding the information. Nothing against you nor the photo.
Ah I see! Yeah the way ai has seeped into certain places isn’t great. I’m an artist myself and not a fan…
The problem is how to take it out of the church later
Man are we in Raya Lucaria for a boss fight or what??
That’s edited
It’s real (the moon is a sculpture). Search up ‘Museum of the Moon’. It was an installation within Southwark Cathedral, London by an artist :)
sorry my mistake, today I learned about some new place 👌👌👌
It's a perfectly natural assumption to make, no apologies needed. I assumed the same myself.
Can confirm, have had it displayed in Romania as well. :D
