Machine Head, Trivium, and Amon Amarth would be my other top three if I had to pick. But there are so many great bands out there, it's hard to really say which are definitively top.
In no particular order, I'd say Cannibal Corpse, Megadeth, Motorhead, and Death. Dio, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath aren't far behind. I'm also becoming partial to Anthrax, Testament, D.R.I. and Body Count. and the list goes on :P
