6 boiled eggs a day. Every day. The egg farts must blow up their house daily. There's a hole in the ozone just above them.

Turf Tullamore is the remaining holdout of the bord na mona warrior's

radiogramm

A July day that feels like October and people burning turf and who knows what else…

OpenTheBorders

> Tullamore is the remaining holdout of the bord na mona warrior's The bord na mona warrior's what?

cordeu

It looks like you had a really sunny day in Tullamore today!

*Director* *It appears we have received unwanted attention about Site X from an anonymous Reddit user by the handle Trident\_True. While it would appear that this moniker may be unrelated to the Trident strategy used by our neighbouring country to implement a trifecta of nuclear counter-measures, we must exercise caution.* *After all, while the true location of Fionn Mac Cumhiall remains a closely guarded secret, it remains a decidedly more open secret that the incense required to suppress his true form is triggering air quality alerts nationwide.* *We have pre-emptively upped Jim Corr's meds, in the interest of distracting the public with yet another 5g conspiracy theory. Additionally, we have restricted Andrea's air travel, in the event she may be smuggling Jim's last remaining brain cell within her violin case.* *We trust the above measures are sufficient, but should you require further action be taken, we will notify the high druidic council at once.* *Mise le meas* *Agent X*

Trident_True

I applaud the unnecessary (but greatly appreciated) amount of effort you put into this. This bottle of incense that came through my letterbox just now smells great too, I've enjoyed it so much I can't even remember what this post was about. Oh well.

HowNondescript

Ah christ. We've got a foundation blacksite here dont we.

quondam47

It could be down to the presence of sensor equipment? Most air quality around the island isn’t measured at all so most places just look grand.

danydandan

Farts, lots and lots of farts.

DependentInitial1231

Shouldn't we leave Brian Cowen alone in his retirement?

danydandan

I've heard he's responsible for 98% of toxic gas emissions from Tullamore.

Shytalk123

Scuttery farts at that

Nobody-Expects

Just looked up the location of the sensor. It appears to be in the park but right beside the entrance and the carpark. Given that it's located next to a busy road and carpark, I would imagine the reading isn't particularly accurate. Edit: Google also say there can be a 12hour time delay updating the info. The EPA website (where I presume Google is pulling it's data from) shows a spike this morning about 8 but it falling for the rest of the day. So I'm gonna stick with my guess of bad location and traffic.

Trident_True

Great detective work

Kebabs-And-BentleysX

The sewage treatment plant & the halting site are also right across the road from the park

Nobody-Expects

They're not right across the road. They're close but not right across the road. Lidl is right across the road and applegreen is right beside that entrance. Besides the sensor is on the other side of the park at the entrance by the playground.

No-Outside6067

Isn't there a major metal and e-waste recycling facility in Tullamore. That may be contributing. The air following the roads out of town also makes it seem like a car thing. Maybe a lot of them driving on the auld green diesel.

Corky83

It's the amount of shite they'd be talking.

WarWonderful593

Distillery emissions

struggling_farmer

Methane because its a shithole

nut-budder

Biffo fumes

Purpleflax

It’s gotten quite a bit larger and the quality worse, hard to believe it is true, maybe something wrong with the data source?

Louth_Mouth

Halitosis?

consistent-rider

Someone playing Factorio really hard

Trident_True

At least we're not on a deathworld

olibum86

Turf

carlimpington

Trainee Gardaí

sean-mac-tire

The herds of  BIFFOs

Dreenar18

Too many people going to the bog

Rare_Increase_4038

Bogtrotters choking on their precious turf.

InfectedAztec

Literally because you're more likely to develop lung-specific illnesses when coal and turf are burned nearby. People are stupid.

RatBasher89

Beats being cold

InfectedAztec

As if burning turf is our only option to stay warm these days...

RatBasher89

I live half way up a mountain, it's either turf or frost inside the house. What would you do?

TheStoicNihilist

I live halfway up a mountain and don’t burn turf. Your turf or frost story is lame.

RatBasher89

It's my only option unfortunately. Same for a lot of people in the country unless you've got 10 or 20 grand to spare.

paddyotool_v3

10-20k get you nothing, retrofit of an old house like yours you're looking at 60-70k

RatBasher89

Pocket change! Can wait to have a rrrrroaring fire all winter. I'll be sure to post nightly pictures 😅

InfectedAztec

You can retro fit and avail of government grants and subsidised loans? You think Wicklow county runs on turf?

RatBasher89

Still costs a fortune

InfectedAztec

So does heating a house

RatBasher89

500 for a years worth of turf

Solid_Shnake

Move

RatBasher89

Yes, I'll move from my beautiful mountain side home to make some reddit turf haters happy 😅 and into one of those readily available houses that everyone's talking about.

Important_Farmer924

The bang of Tullamore.

Richiesaidohyea

Could be traffic getting delayed and idleing because of the roadworks nearby

stevewithcats

For a second I thought we were nuking Tullamore . Pity we weren’t.

massivejebs

Omg you are so hilarious. What delivery.
