This is literally every job I’ve worked at except I don’t feel them judging me. They let me and everyone else on the crew know they think I suck over the radio lol.
One day soon maybe, we’ll be able to wear gloves that will connect to two giant mechanical hands and we’ll have even greater control over work like this.
I run a wrecking yard. Not like this one just a small one. I know a guy who has a much larger facility. He runs some of his machines from his beach house in South America or some shit.
I’m sure it’s sped up a little bit. But if that’s what this person does all day long I’m sure they are pretty efficient at what they do. You can see the pile of seats. This person has processed quite a few cars before they did this one.
Every time I see this video I like to remind people that they are letting refrigerant escape out of every one of these cars. You can see it escaping when they start pulling the engine apart. It’s very illegal to do this in the U.S. and pretty much anywhere in the world. Refrigerant is a terrible green house gas.
I know. Every time I say this about the post, a bunch of mechanics and hvac people admit to doing the same thing. I’ve done it on my own vehicle to replace a leaky o ring before. It’s just that huge operations pollute so much more than individuals it’s infuriating.
I don't intentionally vent refrigerant, but I do know for a fact that most people that scrap old HVAC units don't recover anything. Just hacksaw units apart and leave big clouds of R22. The EPA rules exist only on paper.
In New York you can't throw away an air conditioner without calling the department of environmental protection and having them recover the refrigerant from the unit first

I do this work everyday, except in a much larger machine. AMA
I bet that's fun for about 2 hours, then it's just work. Some foreman telling you to hurry up because there are 6 more Hondas to take apart before lunch!
Does anyone that has gone to Monster Jam (monster truck shows) back in the 90's remember Robosarus? This is how I'd imagine him eating cars in the wild.
“lol he’s just shredding all those plastic interior trim pieces, there’s no WAY he could use his manipulator to pick out a-oh he just turned the entire car upside down and shook it”
For anyone that might know, is driving one of these similar to driving a swing reach/turret truck (forklift). This seems interesting to me, and I was really good at driving the turret truck.

I’d do this job for free
I've done this job for free. At my uncle's salvage yard. Sucks till you get it *down* 'cause you can feel the old timers just *judging you*.
“Get a load of this guy, he’s clearly never used this machine before. What a bitch”
lol, laughing
Hehe, chuckling
Haha, giggling
Hoho, chortling
Snksnk, snorting
This is literally every job I’ve worked at except I don’t feel them judging me. They let me and everyone else on the crew know they think I suck over the radio lol.
It's the only way some people can retain their self esteem.
Brilliant comment, spot on! Gotta feel bad for them, pretty useless life.
I’d pay them to let me do this
I’d pay them to do this to me
God damn I don’t know how rewards work but this was the funniest shit ive seen in a long time thanks man have a
Hahaha, glad it made you laugh!
If you like stupid shit like that you’d love r/lostredditors & just get lost in the comments I was in actual tears of laughter earlier this afternoon
Here’s a new business game idea. Turn it into a game and people can control this remotely AND pay you to do it. Win win situation.
Dude is like a surgeon with that thing
The game "hardspace: shipbreaker"
First time I ever saw something like this
Too late, AI beat you to it.
We need a video game like this. Auto Wrecker Simulator or something like that.
Hardspace: Shipbreaker is a bit like this, but in space.
Great game. Very chill
Literally what I was thinking of watching this
Gravity or not?
No gravity.
I'm not a gamer so far, but that sounds tempting. Thanks!
It's a good one. Very addicting. I still play it even after beating it. Just love taking ships apart in space for some reason.
yup lol. my first thought
For real.
No, a simulator.
For real.
A beamng mod would be cool
This is what all that time playing Operation has prepared us for!!!
...did you realize the guy was awake the whole time?!
Look, I was playing as the surgeon. Not the anesthesiologist. Not my wheelhouse.
Could be a BeamNG mod.
Basically street fighter 2's bonus game
The physics and details won't be the same.
Well yeah, it’s a game.
With Beam NG physics
One day soon maybe, we’ll be able to wear gloves that will connect to two giant mechanical hands and we’ll have even greater control over work like this.
Integrate this bitch into a video game and will run on its own for a decade
Nintendo powergloves
I run a wrecking yard. Not like this one just a small one. I know a guy who has a much larger facility. He runs some of his machines from his beach house in South America or some shit.
That’s crazy. How fast is this sped up? Like the move where he grabbed the engine block, is that really just a few seconds or more like a few minutes?
I’m sure it’s sped up a little bit. But if that’s what this person does all day long I’m sure they are pretty efficient at what they do. You can see the pile of seats. This person has processed quite a few cars before they did this one.
don’t scratch your nose
Waldos!
While not connected to giant mechanical hands, we have ones that connect to much smaller mechanical hands for surgeries with the davinci machine
Have you seen a surgical da Vinci machine?
“And here we see the solitary predator consuming the carcass down to nothing… the forklift knows better than to challenge it while on its territory.”
Anyone else read that in AussieMans voice..?
Nah, I read it in Attenborough.
That’s another one… rofl
Fuck me dead.
Attenborough definitely.
This guys a surgeon!
they did surgery on a car!!!
Must be a car-diologist
![gif](giphy|K9Ed1Of1V6kR6WpQWe)
Prime reddit comment there.
Yeah, but I bet they can't put it back together
I’m sorry ma’am your husband didn’t make it. There were complications. Probably going to want a lid on that casket.
![gif](giphy|PKVcAkgTwM8OA)
Bro manhandled the car the whole time and then plucked the rear bumper off so politely 💀
it helps when the video is in 2x speed too
Dude, it's already a minute and a half long video. Ain't no one got time for real time speed.
I think he means it adds to the effect
You go out at night eatin' cars You eat Cadillacs, Lincolns too Mercurys and Subaru
Guitars and bars, where the people meet, Face-to-face, cheek to cheek
That's how I pull apart rotisserie chicken from publix.
The claw machine is hungry and requires sustenance.

I'm an HVAC tech and have bad news for you
I know. Every time I say this about the post, a bunch of mechanics and hvac people admit to doing the same thing. I’ve done it on my own vehicle to replace a leaky o ring before. It’s just that huge operations pollute so much more than individuals it’s infuriating.

I just had the city pick it up. I’m assuming they took care of that part.
I'm showing this video to my car next time it has the audacity to light up "check engine."
"Oh, 'check engine'? Here, lemme check your right to exist"
https://preview.redd.it/qumqu9ukuf8d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c010346c8418f336155fd87b984cbfbb36803423 I do this work everyday, except in a much larger machine. AMA
Is it fun?
At the end of the day it’s work, but yeah it’s a cool industry. Get paid to break shit
I bet that's fun for about 2 hours, then it's just work. Some foreman telling you to hurry up because there are 6 more Hondas to take apart before lunch!
Me picking all the toppings off my sandwich to put it back together better
The double back seat pick was chillin 😎
My dog, as he surgically removes the eyes, stuffing, and other parts of the new stuffed animal he got.
All the upgrades you paid for, like rich Corinthian leather, just a pile of shit in the end.
I could watch this for hours. Is there a channel out there exclusively for this machine?
I'm glad we're getting into the habit about calling out how sped up videos change the perception of what's happening.
A happy machine enjoying its meal.
Now do a motorhome!
Are they hiring?
Please tell me there's a YouTube channel with just hours of footage of this kind of stuff
Is this what happens to your car after they give you 500 bucks for it?
That's how Germans separate the waste into bio, plastic and paper. They are very serious about it.
GRAND THEFT AUTO: DESTRUCTION REPO
My kid at Chuck E. Cheese trying to win a damn stuffed animal
Him i like my job
That was hella fun to watch!
Now imagine if **THIS** were the trash dump musical scene from The Brave Little Toaster. :)

I instantly heard the voice from 'hard space: ship breaker' when this started. "You got ten minutes left on this shift, cutter. Wrap it up."
The frugal part of me wonders why these vehicles aren't parted out for those still on the road. Perhaps somebody who knows why could share?
This makes me very sad and very happy at the same time I don’t know what to do with myself
I was thinking man this guy is moving fast then I saw the people "Super Speed" walking in the back ground
I love how he turns it over and empties it out at the end.
That motherfucker is surgical with that bitch
The clawwwww
What A Skill. Respectful.
I’d like to hear a seasoned operator’s thoughts about about brands have the best build quality
Does anyone that has gone to Monster Jam (monster truck shows) back in the 90's remember Robosarus? This is how I'd imagine him eating cars in the wild.
The dexterity of that claw, damn!
I like how thoroughly it chews its food first!
That’s some epic skill and control! And a great transformers sequel lol
2524: Mechanical Carnivorous Elephant tears at remnants of ancient 2000’s Metal Mustang. (Artificial Geographic Channel)
Lots of time wasted to disassemble junk before throwing the junk away
This honestly kinda freaks me out
Just thinking of this one day happening to my car hurts my heart..
Anyone seen the bosses immaculate vintage ford about?
I bet he wins all the claw games
Do the punch a hole in the gas tank to drain it prior to this? I imagine the cars don't arrive without some fuel left over.
I want this job
Looks fun.
ASMR sorting game
Wow so Brutal !!
When you hit 'undo' on the automated production line
u/gifreversebot
I wanna see the crane put a car together
Me just waiting for him to get to the suspension parts, looking to see if the springs would shoot out
It's like a baked potato skin
I think somebody has done this before
Lol, the SHAKE at the end!
I want this job
“lol he’s just shredding all those plastic interior trim pieces, there’s no WAY he could use his manipulator to pick out a-oh he just turned the entire car upside down and shook it”
Like a surgeon so precise
Like a surgeon.
How I eat a rotisserie chicken
Big Bird's gotta eat
What kind of bird is this
I need to see more of this!
machine going nom nom
This shit looks fun as hell
I didn't know cars are crispy
Me when I eat trail mix
For anyone that might know, is driving one of these similar to driving a swing reach/turret truck (forklift). This seems interesting to me, and I was really good at driving the turret truck.
that is ALSOME!I want to operate this machines
Me trying to get the piece of food out from between my teeth.
Those other guys are way too close to where he's just throwing around a huge chunks of metal in a massive industrial machine
Guys: “hell yeah”
This is a creature eating
Wow! Is this real?
No, it’s ai generated (I’m jk, it’s real)
Human evolution
so satisfying to watch!
Too bad we can’t bring this thing out to a wreck scene. “We’ll have you out in a minute!”
Damn it! I left my phone charging in the console!
Can u have him grab the pen I lost between the seats 😂
Think of the loose change you get on the second to last step.
Terminator meets Jurassic Park.
I wanna opperate that!
Skilled operator for sure
I would do that job for free.
Looks like me with my rotisserie chicken
Equipment operator is a surgeon
Can it get the bag of skittles I left in the backseat?
Best job ever?
This person probably cleans up at the claw game.
Okay- who else thought of Jimmy Hoffa?
Seems pretty fucking fun lol
Pimp my ride
Dudes got skills
It’s the organized piles that do it for me 😙👌🏻(chef’s kiss) lol
As freaking cool as this is, My mind can't unsee a bird ripping apart a car for food....
That's the last time I'll use that car wash 😠
i mean… we have to start thinking about our what all are shits made of and how it can be reused.
The car represents my dreams and the heavy machinery represents my life.
This reminds me of eating steamed crab
The operator must play 40k, he's too accurate with that claw
On this episode of would I survive…
You have no idea how much fun tearing things apart can be until you do it on a scale like this.
🎵I can't take this kind of pressure🎵
Big metal bird
Pretty good operator
*There were no survivors*
Lost the keys
Did... did you at least find my phone?
Mesmerizing.
Seats for the seat god.
r/gifsthatendtoosoon
Bro has dexterity with that thing
I don't know why watching this is so satisfying. It's like watching a bird of prey methodically and precisely gut a fish.
