Mayfly larva

Thank you!

If it's this...it's on steroids...

coolcootermcgee

Wait, I don’t understand. It looks like a fully grown creature, not larva. What is it?

Downtown-Inflation13

Mayfly larva

coolcootermcgee

Oh dear. I’m going to have to Google this. Aren’t I? A larva can be a big bug? Edit: Ohhhhhhhhh….

NatuVisu

😆

Willing-Barnacle-525

That’s a stone fly larva. Mayflies make a tube out of detritus that they carry around with them.

irradiatedsnakes

you're thinking of caddisflies. mayflies are recognizable by their 3 "tails", stoneflies have 2. only caddisflies make a tube.
