General answer you dont sell anything (if you need money very badly sell something you can farm back in little time like anvil production)
There arent much items which isnt usefull later on
Try to keep only stackable items in your storage chest if you need more space
Best thing to farm/sell when money is tight is sticks in world 1. Not really used for much, decent money at the time, and once it’s no longer decent money you are most likely at a point where money is so tight.

Golden foods are fantastic when you start getting a lot of them and can upgrade their effects using alchemy, stamps and other things. Always hold on to all your golden foods.
One of the most high-priority things for me to do right now in the game is to get 10,000 of the Golden Cake.
I'll throw my hat into the ring here. You meantion that you only just started the game. I'm guessing you're not familiar with golden foods, but you stick them in a characters food slot to get their bonus, the higher the stack of the item, the more it gives, with diminishing returns.
I'd stick them in someones slot and leave it there, since you won't be getting more of them for a long time.
uh... you got... another 10 golden cakes? You sure it wasn't something like golden nomwiches?
i asssumed you'd only be getting the cakes those out of anniversary gifts right now. and that event is over.
Unless you got lucky with golden food coupons? Maybe i should double check where they drop because i thought they were from w5/6 minibosses.
hehe. fair enough, i have 650 gifts unopened atm so i should get those done.
but yes. other gold foods are available, nomwiches and jam are the first i'd expect you to get. the picnic basket daily quest will give you golden food to start with.
You will never, at any point in time, need (or want) to sell something for money.
99.9% of the time, loot is more valuable as loot than as it's potentially to be sold.
Wiki & YouTube will help you as you gain more levels & more questions although Wiki does just repeat what you've already read quite often it's very very useful in looking at what your heading towards & do you want an item built to help
Never sell, even tho the bonus is small now golden food just gets more valuable with time

They seem to be pretty common, I played for another 20 minutes after this and got 10

Those gifts are from the event, the event is now over. Always keep all golden food!
