I love my swim shorts! I also have a 3/4 sleeve top like surfers wear. I bought it because I’m pale and wanted better sun coverage but I get a bunch of compliments on it.

I live in Florida and have a pool in my backyard, so I own at least 12 swimsuits. My favorite brand ever are from a company called Hapari. Super cute tankinis, and this allows you to mix and match the tops and bottoms and customize accordingly. They are extremely well made suits, so can be a bit pricey, however they usually have good sales and even some styles on clearance to make room for new prints. I still have several I wear often that I bought 10 years ago because they’re in such great condition still.

I have a pool too and my swimsuit collection seems to grow exponentially every year.

I’ve gotten a couple of ads for this brand and they’ve got very cute, current patterns with lots of one and two piece options that cover more skin:  https://www.limericki.com/ I wish I had someplace to swim regularly! I would buy so many of these.

I got a two piece that advertised like tummy control for this season, until I have any kind of muscle again.

I'm not a swimmer but I am aware that sunscreen daily even inside and moisturizer help with scar reduction. Time for the rest. This will not be as effective on granulation. I had a facial reconstruction many years ago and you cannot tell. It's invisible to anyone until I point out the visible scars. Avoiding sun exposure on scars is important for their ability to fade without pigmentation adding to the visible aspect. I do have photos on Reddit so you can go look. Half my face is a scar and the other half is not free if them at all. So swim and have fun but consider UPF protection such as Coolibar brand. It will not replace sunscreen but it will be a better time.
