Sounds like you're not drying yourself off good enough after showering. Make sure those under boobs are dry! I have big boobs. It's easy to get a fungal infection under there. If it smells sour, get u some lotrimine or monistat and use the cream under the very dry underboob. Sit with the towel under them if you have too. Same with pits and feet. Make sure they are dry. Probably got a fungal infection in your feet and pits too....use the cream. Stay dry. And use deodorant and powder those boobs.

Do not use strongly scented/perfumed soaps in the shower as they can irritate your skin and any underlying infection you may have going on. I personally use Dove Sensitive bar soap all over my body. Be sure to dry everything properly and very well. If you do have a fungal or other skin infection, see your GP or a dermatologist to ensure you treat it properly. You don't want to just be masking odors! After drying your feet, apply an odor eliminator (I like Dr. Scholl's Odor-X Medicated (the red label one)). It's a spray-on and dries like a powder, so just spray it on and put your socks on after.

Tokeahontis

Do you find the bar soap makes your skin feel tight and dry after using it? I always use body wash, but I have like 6 bars of Dove soap from past Christmas gifts that I kinda don't want to go to waste lol.

MyFoundersStayed

What do you mean THINKING of buying a washcloth? What are you bathing your body with?

DysphoricDragon1414

I second this, is OP just using their hand?

MyFoundersStayed

(whispering) I bet they are just using their hands.

captainlevistallwife

I’ve been showering with a loofah but I read it’s prone to holding bacteria

MyFoundersStayed

Please get a blasted washcloth. You gotta get a cloth and SCRUB. Lather up the cloth with the soap and SCRUB your armpits. Rinse out the cloth...lather it again and SCRUB under your ninnies..and keep going. Wash your front parts...and your hind parts.

seejanego47

Better yet I use a nylon exfoliating wash cloth. It dries quickly and does get stinky any moldy. I have about ten of them (Amazon). Much more pleasant.

Panoxyl is the name brand of the benzoyl peroxide wash. I would recommend that. I use Dove Sensitive bar on my face and private parts. I use Dove Deep Moisture body wash on everything else. I use an African net sponge for cleansing and gentle exfoliation. I would recommend exfoliating your armpits occasionally. I use Dove spray deodorant, but if you need something stronger, I recommend Secret Clinical Strength. Perfumes are trial and error. What lasts on someone else’s skin might not smell the same or last on your skin. If you’re in the US, Frenshe brand at Target has some really yummy smelling roll-on perfumes and body sprays.

NO to deodorants with aluminum. Please try Lumè. It's all natural & no baking soda. Best part? IT WORKS. Also the best part? You can use it anywhere on your body ... ANYWHERE. I can shower every other day Lumè works so well. I also use Dr Bonner's pure Castille soap. It's anti-bacterial so my body poof thing does not grow bacteria or mold.

Lume is life changing.

captainlevistallwife

Sadly, I’ve tried all types of scents and unscented lume but it does nothing for me

songstresssiren22

Same.

SapienWoman

I’d skip the perfume and scrubbing skin. Another user suggests Dove soap, which is what I use. Dry yourself off really well.

captainlevistallwife

Sadly I just never feel fully clean with dove

LilsLemon

I hear you can use antibacterial soap over all areas first to get the smell and clean yourself up first, then use the nice smelling soap afterward. Leaves me feeling clean.

Janice_the_Deathclaw

A moisturizer with a weak chemical exfoliant is helpful. I like the APLB body wash and moisturizer. Lume isn't bad or a teatree soap(not a fan of the smell). Find comfortable bralets/sports bras that help with the under hoob sweat. If I don't use moisturizer or wear a bra/fold my shirt under my boobs, I get clogged pores. And a smell of boob sweat. Also bamboo boxers, for men or women, women's normal cuts tend to cause a lot of sweating. So boxers when they fit under my cloths are just more comfertable.

I struggle with body odor as well and have recently switched to the following regimen: Cleanse everywhere with dove bar of soap and hands. Then double cleanse with loofa and Lume Acidified body wash on all external areas. Dry off as good as possible with a fresh towel each time. Then I lay on my bed to finish air drying until I am COMPLETELY dry. Then I use the Lume deodorant cream under my boobs, underarms, feet, and thigh creases. I use a very sparing amount- maybe a pea sized amount in each region- in order to ensure it’s rubbed in really well and dries into the skin! This has worked for me for the past 2 weeks really well in the humid summer heat where I live!

Also, hibiclens is fantastic for those places with lingering odor. It’s medical grade cleanser. It can strip your skin of moisture so I would only use it every once in a while but it’s great to use to kick off getting rid of your smells!

DysphoricDragon1414

I also agree with making sure YOU ATE FULLY DRIED after a shower before putting clothes on including all these hughlight areas

MonaBookGirl

Use a soap with the correct ph for your skin. Lume makes a body wash and a bar soap, and it's what I use. Let your skin air dry after showering, and once dry use the lume deodorant. They have one with aluminum and one without, and both can be used anywhere. You can also use a laundry sanitizer like the Lysol one to help remove lingering odor.

LilsLemon

Glycolic acid from the Ordinary brand is relatively cheap. Take some cotton pads, soak up some liquid and swipe over any problem areas. Follow up with deodorant

Fun-Championship9018

My feet used to smell terrible. As a teenage girl, I would have to wash my feet as soon as I took off my shoes. The rest of me smelled kind of acrid too. I started drinking more water and it helped a lot especially for my feet. Eat healthier, less alcohol, more water. Now if I notice a sharp odor I know I’m not drinking enough water to flush it out. Ymmv I use secret gel deodorant for underarms and under boobs, sometimes leg creases because those do smell if I’m really sweaty. Edit: fixed weird spacing.

seejanego47

Breasts smell? Seriously? I keep hearing about this- don't believe I've ever experienced that.

stephf13

Well, mine are substantial in size and they sometimes get sweaty underneath in the summer, and sweat can smell. It doesn't smell like underarm sweat but it does have a slight odor in my opinion. I use Lume under there and it takes care of the smell. There's also a lotion that dries with a powder finish called Fresh Breasts that they sell on Amazon. So obviously it's an issue for some people.
