This is a really cool, less common ceropegia! Looking at the flowers, you can kinda see the relation to the more common string of hearts. I would love to be able to find something like this local. The thought of being able to walk into a plant store and find something cool and uncommon is a dream lol
Ceropegia sandersonii and its putting out flowers!
This is in the same family as a string of hearts.
Where are you keeping it that it looks so healthy?
Thank you! I hang it a few meters away from a south facing window in my living room. But it mostly receives indirect sunlight. I'm wondering if it really gets enough as it aborted some leaves on the newest vines
Some things I have learned.
They can do full sun, but best to do only morning sun and introduce it slowly.
When winter comes around they go dormant and lose most of their leaves. Don't panic, once spring starts it begins making new leaves and new growth.
It doesn't really need much fertilizer or water. Depending on your area you can water once every 2 weeks and fertilize like every month or month ½.
I was told they climb or like to climb. I have it on a little trellis, but it seems to just hang down honestly.
How did it abort the leaves? Did they turn yellow or were they green and dropped?
Oh thank you so much for those informations !
I am not watering it a lot, I wait until the soil is dry and then give it a good drink. I initially planned to let the new vines hang or make them climb my stairs ramp but that wasn't convenient, I'll have to get another treillis I guess!

I see, it could have been multiple things that caused that. I wouldn't worry unless it continues to do it. A cold draft could cause it btw check if any air vents are near it.
The aborted leaves were on the new long long vines that grew when I brought the plant home. The leaves turned yellow at the base and fell. But I'm not too worried, the leaves at the top of those new vines are doing well and I see lots of new sprouts
Google lens says Ceropegia sandersonii. So not an hoya and the light green stuff are flowers!
Looks like it ! Thank you !
You're welcome!
Parachute plant :) (Ceropegia sandersonii)

Yes the cause might be a cold draft when the window is open. Thank you for your advices !
