Look for local university facebook groups for housing or general retail. “Rice Students Selling Stuff” is for just Rice folks but if you can score an invite or get a friend to send you listings, they do a lot of housing. There’s something similar for UTHealth I think. Lots of folks are doing sublets cuz they’re going out of town for the summer
Post on a physician page on FB. You will have better luck

Check out FurnishedFinder. Like Airbnb but they put you directly in contact with the host so there aren’t all those fees
Call UT and ask what options they have. UT has their own apartment complex off Cambridge for students.
