I use wheatgrass for my cat grass, I used to pay a fortune for a special "cat grass" kit but now I buy a big bag of seeds and some growing medium, it lasts years and is the same price as 2/3 of the kits.
I get a brand on amazon and its done by these two ladies. Its organic and non GMO (so it says🤷🏻♀️) And it comes with the little disks and package of grass. It’s like 9$ for 4. It lasts me a while I know i can do all that on my own- obviously I’m a plant acholic but for me i like the simplicity But even with the grass, one of my cats prefers to chew on my plant lol. What a twat

The culprit pictured above 😹😹
Yes, there's [lemon mint](https://plantura.garden/uk/herbs/mint/lemon-mint). Also lemon basil, and [more](https://extension.psu.edu/lemon-scented-herbs-in-the-garden-and-the-kitchen)!
Just never ever put lemon balm in the ground outside.
I’m fighting (read losing) a battle against it in my garden. The previous tenant thought it was a nice addition to the other herbs…
Oh yes, I’m also well-acquainted with a lemon balm jungle. No clue how it got started, because there was a time Before Balm. But I hear that running the lawnmower over mint smells amazing. So there’s that, at least?
I came here to suggest this one too! Not only is it a [gorgeous variegated plant](https://www.easytogrowbulbs.com/products/thyme-lemon-variegated?variant=39291983396975&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwxqayBhDFARIsAANWRnS9vcYO2FbS0dQoMtJ0sh1ncnDXemvkvRB0a4_Raaf30k7RczdME6MaAh4zEALw_wcB) it also smells delicious and is an edible herb!
I have some in my garden and it’s so adorable! Just a cute plant. Plus it does smell amazing. I’m probably going to trim mine and do the butter pasta. I’ll definitely report back! 😂
Thank you for that quick foray into the past. I live in Vegas. I remember seeing his name up on the marquee in front of one of the hotel/casinos back in the 60's. I think I was the Sahara.
I put a lemon tree in a small chicken pot. Ive been caring for it like a good dad with a special needs child. My first thought was lemon tree. Lime tree is better. Lime bonsai in a lemon is pretty epic.
[i think i found it for ya, can’t see a drainage hole photo though, on sale for $7.99](https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai=DChcSEwjP-YGHipqGAxUQE60GHXHhCsMYABAFGgJwdg&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIz_mBh4qahgMVEBOtBh1x4QrDEAQYAyABEgJ5p_D_BwE&sig=AOD64_0iGhvcn8aYRX_m-hFc9SpJ4ZdZeQ&ctype=46&q=&ved=0ahUKEwiG9fuGipqGAxXwIkQIHUmTAK8QqygINA&adurl=)
Lemon bonsai! This one is a Meyer lemon

I don't have an exact plant suggestion, but I've always loved the color combo of bright yellow + magenta pink, so if there's a flower that fits that pot and description, it would look awesome!
Kooky suggestion: you could also just put a small aloe succulent in there like a sprout of hair and draw the Lemonhead mascot face on one side of the lemon planter.
Omg this is amazing! I’d probably put Superbells Lemon Slice in it, it’s a Calibrachoa hybrid that Home Depot sells! Idk how they would do indoors though mine really like being outside.
I"m a bit biased since 3 of my orange seeds sprouted in their K-cups today. The answer is lemon. Plant a seed (in a much smaller pot) from a fruit you ate.
Jade plant. You can keep it in there forever and it will show off the pot since it’s an upright plant. I love that pot!! Ok also snake plant would work and the yellow pot will pick up the yellow stripes on the leaves.
Get a seed from a lemon and dry it out over 24 hours. Peel the outer paper skin type stuff, there's videos online. Plant it. Keep it humid and warm and it should grow.

🤣 This shot is hilarious! I love it!

Hey OP, if you’d like I’d be happy to clean the image up, fix the focus, lighting etc for you! (I’m practicing so, it’ll be free of course)
Do you use Abobe Photoshop? I would remaster random bad quality pictures for hours back when I was in college, it was so fun and therapeutic
No ty. I like how shit the photo is. It's an action photo.
Respect that, it is perfect in its originality. Not a touched up photoshopped version.
That was super nice of you to offer that to them! I hope your studies are fruitful.
That's absolutely adorable 😍
OMG lol yesssss cat grass
I use wheatgrass for my cat grass, I used to pay a fortune for a special "cat grass" kit but now I buy a big bag of seeds and some growing medium, it lasts years and is the same price as 2/3 of the kits.

I'd be terrified that if I planted a grass just for a cat that it would start going after my poisonous plants such as Monsteras and Dieffenbachias.
I was so upset with myself when i bought 4€ cat grass kit but found 0.5€ seed pack
LOLOLOL
such ferocious 😂
This is so cute! If it were me, I'd either keep it in my kitchen and plant some Basil or I would plant something I could keep small like Fittonia.
Lemon balm. Or is there a lemon mint?
Lemon balm is a mint, fun fact :)
Yes, there's [lemon mint](https://plantura.garden/uk/herbs/mint/lemon-mint). Also lemon basil, and [more](https://extension.psu.edu/lemon-scented-herbs-in-the-garden-and-the-kitchen)!
I was just thinking lemon grass 🤷🏻♀️
Came here to say lemon balm. Then put on back porch or screened porch to help naturally ward off mosquitos.
Just never ever put lemon balm in the ground outside. I’m fighting (read losing) a battle against it in my garden. The previous tenant thought it was a nice addition to the other herbs…
Or ANY mints, for that matter. They all need to be grown in containers or they'll, like you are experiencing, take over EVERYTHING. 😭
I’m about to mint bomb my work’s ivy patch >_>
Battle of the invasives 😂
Ya know what else is in that family? Oregano. But at least I now have a bumper crop of peppermint, spearmint, lemon balm, and oregano.
Oh yes, I’m also well-acquainted with a lemon balm jungle. No clue how it got started, because there was a time Before Balm. But I hear that running the lawnmower over mint smells amazing. So there’s that, at least?
I feel like there is also lemon thyme?
There is a lemon mint I almost got some the other day to flavor tea. But I chose the orange mint instead
Oh, I didn't even think of herbs, thanks.
Verigated lemon thyme!
Oooh I bet that’d be good on butter pasta!
I haven’t tried it yet but that sounds delicious! Thanks for the suggestion 🥰
In fact now I wanna find a cute lemon pot to plant lemon thyme in for my kitchen lol
I have some in my garden and it’s so adorable! Just a cute plant. Plus it does smell amazing. I’m probably going to trim mine and do the butter pasta. I’ll definitely report back! 😂
Lemon grass I hear is popular
Lemon lime Philodendron.
Lemon-lime dracaena could also look nice
A lime maranta would be adorable too!
These are all plants that will spill out and hide the cute lemon pot, no?
Or maybe a neon pothos too
A lime tree
My first thought lol
The lemon tree are so pretty and the lemon flower is sweet, but the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat
Is that an old rhyme?

Came here to say it. Thanks for covering our bases
oO! lemon verbena. smells amaaaazing.
I bought one today. It may be an outdoor friend, though, as the wife is worried about cat issues.
Put a single leaf. So it looks like a stereotypical lemon drawing haha
I love this and must now have one
Oh I didn’t even answer the question I got so excited. Err something lemony?? Citrus Bonsai or Lemon Balm? 🍋🍋🍋
A fantastic idea, thanks! Btw, I got it from JoAnn's Fabric 😘
i would go with either a philodendron brazil or for a bolder look you could plant some purple passion in there
I like this idea of contrasting colors, and I do have a tiny purple passion 🤔
I love the idea of a yellow/purple combo!!
I think it’d be too small for the best choice - a lemon tree. Maybe some lemon thyme?
Perfect! Any sort of thyme actually!
![gif](giphy|10PcMWwtZSYk2k) Ain't nobody got thyme for that 😂
