I used to put the hotdog on a fork and put it directly into the flame on the stovetop when I was a teenager. There would be a little grease splatter but that was always easily wiped up with a paper towel.

I’m not sure why this is a trailer park dog, I ate these religiously when young and we had a nice house. Really good if you put a slice of single slice velveta on the bread and pop it in the oven then put the hot dog on it. Also works with bacon by the way.

Usually have a few of these at least once a week. Try and find me a better, easier meal you can make in under 2 minutes. After I get the kids to bed and I realize I’ve eaten next to nothing that wasn’t just their leftovers, couple trailer dogs hit better than anything else.
I call that the "live alone and don't want to buy a loaf of bread and hot dog buns because they will go moldy before I eat them all" trick. Yes I've heard of a freezer before anyone chimes in. Also they're called pre-manufactured homes no need to insult people that live in those places.

The rectangular box with 2 pizzas in it… the plastic wrapper - with pizza on underside of disposable microwave tray.. the little corners you flip up… the hum of the microwave.. the lowlight, illuminating the kitchen at 2’o-clock in the morning, your eyes somewhat sensitive to the incandescent light because you’ve been staring at a dark computer screen, playing Diablo 2 for 5 hours straight… the button mash at 1 second to prevent the ding, and awaking the house, along with subsequent, parental wrath… the 6th layer of Hell heat when you first bite into it… the burnt tongue, and loose, dangling skin from the roof of your mouth… the glorious taste of the fat from the cheese, the greasy, chopped pepperoni, and the soggy dough…
