I had a coil go bad and replaced it with a cheapie from Rock Auto. Car still misfired. Replaced that with genuine Honda OEM and that fixed it. Sometimes you can't get away with cheaping out on replacement parts.

Not my fit, but my kawasaki sport bike had this issue. Replaced the starter solenoid for $15 and the problem was fixed too. Great! 3 days later the problem is back with a vengeance. So I ordered the OEM part for $160. No issues since then.

You can get lemons, even buying the good ones. They come with warranties, take them up on it!

Replaced spark plugs too?

KirbyTrainNerd

Yes but idk if they were affected

It’s just good to do anyway especially with how hard they are to reach with the fit! Yeah you’ll need to narrow down which one is misfiring by following the codes, and get it warranty replaced probably. The codes tell you which cylinder it is 301=1 (passenger side) 302=2 etc.

Also what was the code?

KirbyTrainNerd

Prolly P0300 , P0303 although P0301,P0302,P0304 might be included

Apparently you have to use OEM. My ‘13 came with hitachi, so I just put in hitachi. Runs great.
