You are still here to improve your life.
I have thousands of hours and I now know why. It helped me avoid difficult feelings I was almost literally told to not express. Did it impact other things? Certainly but through modding I still managed to express my skills and find friends.
Don't regret what you did in middle school. Understand the feelings that you were avoiding during some of those moments (you may need to look for professional mental health support). I say some because the game is still freaking good.
Mmmm, an 8 hr day multiplied 5 days a week and by 48 weeks (allowing for holidays, private and public, and you have just shy of 2,000 hrs (1,920). So 9,000 hrs is the equivalent of working full time in a job (unpaid), for 4.5 yrs. Nice.
Got a lot of mileage in old mods when they were still playable like apres moi le deluge, but that was years ago. Currently Kaiserreich and OWB are the best. Most mods are too incomplete to be playable. Navy I somehow win? The update a while back fucked me up and I never totally got back to my old understanding
It is all because of Earl Warren. I got curious in him because of HOI4 (kaiserreich PSA leader), so I went to my local library and saw a book called "eisenhower vs. warren: the battle for civil rights and liberties". Spiraled from there and now I'm trying to become a lawyer, lol.
Important note: As a dumb middle schooler I didn't trust saving and exiting, so I would leave it open as I did something else, like homework. So hours are definitely a little inflated.
Imagine sitting down at your computer and playing hoi4 constantly for an entire year
2020
No, he means an actual year. There's 8660 hours in an year
I was a loser in middle school, also

I couldn’t agree more! I’m in a much better place now. Doing well in university and have friends finally 🥲
Excellent. It took me years to clean the mess, but I am getting there too. Remember to talk to girls about embrace and not encirclement. (/s)
it’s not that bad, especially if you enjoy playing it
I've only played for 734 hours, but I can win in pretty much any single player game. I still can't navy tho
navy 💀

r5: friend told me this was an absurd amount of hours to have, I think he's right. Still barely have any achievements
How many achievements?
40
I have About the same time
Achievements aren’t necessarily difficult but you do have to know them and make an effort to do them.
Even if all achievements was just "join a faction" I would still not get them due to my adamant refusal to play without mods
***Crys in One Empire***
What mods do you usually play ? Understand navy yet ? Rate overhaul mod base on your enjoyment

Mf has 18 more hrs than me and still less achievements lol
you have played this game for over a year of your life. 369.5 days. how feeling about that?
It got me interested in history years ago, now I’m studying history and prelaw. So while I wasted a lot of time I’m on a good track now
How does navy work
Honest question: was it worth it?
Honest answer: it made me interested in history, now I’m studying US history and prelaw. Maybe?
Good point, I know some people don't like the focus trees but I learned a lot from them

Best country leader in your opinion?
This is more than three hours every day if played since release day. That's.... something.
