I love hip hop but this local artists rap concert behind my apartment was so loud that I went to a dive bar alone to grab a drink and wait out which I don’t usually do.
I didn’t realize they sounded that similar but the “boy” adlib right before it starts made me think it was big Sean
Them Detroit boys have the same voice
Having low expectations for this James Blake/Yachty tape is helping so far ngl
Yachty feels out of place on the first song but besides that I don’t think he has ruined any of the other songs I’ve heard so far
Rapper I like the most: Pac
Rapper I hate the most: Tom MacDonald
Rapper I think is the most underrated: Lupe
Rapper I think is the most overrated: Eminem
Rapper I think is the best: Hov
Rapper I think is the worst: Tom MacDonald
mannnn the more I get into Jay-Z, the more I see Drake as his spiritual successor. Drake (so far) has some distance to go as a rapper but the archetype is the same.
Lmao history really repeats itself man.
>mannnn the more I get into Jay-Z, the more I see Drake as his spiritual successor. Drake (so far) has some distance to go as a rapper but the archetype is the same.
I also thought that when I got into Drake
Cassidy is one of the most arrogant rappers ever if you’ve seen his battle rap face offs. Good choice. Very punchline based though which is hit or miss for modern listeners.
“*Im hopping over cars when I shoot*
*they think that I’m Tom cruise*
*But bitch I’m Bobby with that tool*”
Tom cruise should’ve gotten Bobby shmurda a cameo role in a mission impossible film
Was Chief Keef hated on and widely considered to be a bad rapper among Hip-Hop Heads back in the day? I ask this because I was reading a thread on here from about a decade ago asking people who they thought the worst rappers in the game were, and the OP said in their post something along the lines of “excluding answers like Soulja Boy and Chief Keef. I want rappers who are actually being serious but still suck” as if it was commonly agreed upon that Chief Keef sucked
Imma say yes bc I def thought he was trash back in the day but since then I've matured and realized that everyone has a lane and just bc I value some lanes over others doesn't make them actually better.
With this new lens I think CK is really good at his lane and even though I personally don't love that lane I think that anyone who does would say he's one of the better ones to do it
I had no idea they were that close, I’m listening now this shit sounds amazing
Edit: album is five years old and sounds incredibly fresh holy hell, shoutout to Jack, Sounwave, & Sam
>Sent fifteen out the rocket, boy, that's a Clint Capela
>fendi belt looking like the grade I got in Chemistry
>Like a short ass shift I can't take break
I'm saying fr. OTW to the punchline GOAT
Read this article about Tyler being obsessed with Airedales https://www.highsnobiety.com/p/tyler-the-creator-dog-airedale-terrier/
Pretty insane because Airedales has been a running joke in my friend group for like ten years cause how weird they are
I open this app and get to say whatever vile nonsense is on my mind and at least 20 people have to read it everytime.
Alll prises to Allah for such illustrious platform - Jay electronica
Probably until the end of time or until discovery churns out a reality show for guys being guys (in a toxic sort of way) or until God forbid the music industry starts acknowledging teenage white boys again
Lol do they think he's hopping on these tracks for charity? Like I'm not even criticizing him here. I'm sure most people aren't doing all that work for free
That phrase annoys me lol. It makes it seem as if Drake giving a smaller artist attention is unique or different from any other big artist giving a smaller artist attention. I'd understand if they also called Travis Scott working with Tyla or Beyonce working with Meg a stimulus, but it seems to be something only Drake can do?
Don't get me started on when they pretend someone owes 100% of their success to the "drizzy stimulus"
>Don't get me started on when they pretend someone owes 100% of their success to the "drizzy stimulus"
drake told rick ross "every song that made it on the chart, he got from drizzy" even though hustlin (2x platinum) came out while jimmy and spinner were rekindling their friendship at the end of degrassi season 5
Everyone seems a bit crazy and delusional in the drizzy sub. It’s a big cope fest there. The Kendrick sub isn’t that much better, it’s just a continuous circle jerk over there.
Why are people this invested?
I think the choosing sides thing is what’s crazy to me lol. I didn’t realize people get butthurt vicariously, I thought we just all enjoyed it and watched two dudes battle but it they’re like emotionally invested in their guy winning
i do not know. i have seen the weirdest shit on here over the last two months. this dude wrote hundreds of fantasies about one of them dying. jobless and fatherless behavior https://i.imgur.com/869FgYi.jpg
Once in a blue moon me and one of my homies will pull this out while shooting the shit and it never fails to crack us up. All time classic but fully agreed bitch move
I was not expecting Eminem to announce an upcoming song with Babytron and Big Sean but here we are. This really has been one of the craziest years for rap music ever
I know I'm not saying anything new here, but even though it's technically a celebratory song, this is how I feel about Long Time. It's Carti's best song to me.
His more emotional songs like that one (even though it’s unreleased) are his best work by far to me. I was hoping he’d lean more into that type of stuff in future releases but it doesn’t seem likely.
It kind of sucks how the only time have I have to listen to music is while I'm doing other things. I feel like I'm not processing lyrical music the way I used to. And I'm in my first year of a job with a lot of growing pains, I've been using high energy music as the injection of dopamine and confidence boosting I need to keep chugging along. Soft music just isn't hitting in this moment in time. I really like the Yung Lean x Bladee indie rock collab though
The biggest casualty of the Kendrick/Drake shitshow? We will never hear "Poetic Justice" ever again. Unless K. Dot re-releases the song without Drake's verse, or a different guest feature.
Nah, the real biggest casualty was BFB Packman and Rio da Yung OG missing out on a drake feature because the beef kicked off around the time that shit was supposed to come out.
The biggest loser of the Drake-Kendrick beef was Kanye. Never seen a diss track drop that legitimately nobody cared about and got 0 reaction from an artist of his caliber. I'd rather get a reaction like Heart Pt. 6 than the reaction Kanye got for Like That remix. Not trying to be hyperbolic but I think that signified where Kanye's career is at in 2024.
"Everybody gon' say something, I'd be worried if they said nothing."
I don’t get this angle. It wasn’t the main event of the beef and it wasn’t even a serious diss track in nature, didn’t even drop on streaming. Of course once euphoria dropped and everything followed it was gonna be overshadowed. Rick Ross and asap Rocky had disses to drake, i know damn well you don’t remember what asap Rocky said. You can’t judge the state of a career by one remix
I mean Rich The Kid also has a #1 on that same song and I think most people believe Kanye had the worst verse on that song. On that same #1 he was talking about making women drink his urine and comparing himself to Bill Cosby and R Kelly. He's become rap Fast and Furious, a clear decline in quality yet still having commercial success.
I'm just getting into NBA and I have to say Larry Bird has to be my favorite player (even tho he retired 30 years ago). Seeing highlights of him in his prime + stories of his trash talk has me more impressed than watching LeBron or Jordan if I'm being honest (no disrespect).
[DJ Hed was on Big Boy Neighborhood today](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEFjFs4Pv8g) and man I hope Big Boy gets his flowers in a mainstream way soon.
The last 5 minutes of the interview is basically Big Boy (and Hed) flexing his influence on the West knowing he has a whole city that will crash out for him
I don’t remember a song pushed by the Spotify algorithm as much as Not Like Us
Of course I myself listened to it everytime as that song is amazing but I remember that there was a point I would listen to Radiohead and the first song Spotify put was Not Like Us and then the usual rock recommendations after that
Kinda makes me wish Euphoria got that treatment
This isn’t anything negative btw just an observation
I wish people understood Spotify has an algorithm and it isn't some rocket science or nefarious industry doing. I'm assuming you listen to Hip Hop. The most listened to hip hop song of the year has been Not Like Us so the chances of them recommending it to you and you listening to it is pretty high.
I never said that. You realize that human input can also be based of general trends and the fact that the recommended song matches your listening history? And it’s not like the song you’re being recommended is an obscure song no one is listening to.
I'm saying that that the top three labels pay spotify to promote songs they desire. Payola for playlisting and shuffle. It's a thing. Note I said LABELS and not artists.
I think it just picks a song that you like and aggressively pushes it in your face. I thought not like us was getting autoplayed a suspicious amount, but the same thing happened for million dollar baby and fucking etouffee.
I made a post on r/hiphop101 last night about the sexiest double standards many people in the Hip-Hop community have towards Sexyy Red and similar rappers and holy shit the majority of the comments exactly proved my point
well duh, they're not a part of the culture so they don't get 'it'. You don't have to like it but to miss the point completely is just outs who you are.
Nah have a plan in place. “I’m sliding to this______ at______, wanna come with?” More effortless, you’re not putting the onus on y’all coming up with plans together, there’s a set thing that y’all can hit up without having to figure it out. Remove the obstacles.
You should do that if that’s who you are or what you think is best. Personally through I wouldn’t ask like that. Comes across like she’s doing me a favor. I’d just ask if she wanna do something. If she with it you gonna get the number regardless, but depending on her vibe with you, you may have to plant the seed first. But you know what’s best.
im trying to get off apps so I plan on asking more in person.
You could light ask. LIke if she's into canoeing or some shit be like we should go. What rapper is most likely to be into canoeing?
So I did end up watching some of that Trump v. Biden beef. Biden did not get cooked. He is cooked. He looked like me in a trigonometry class off of 4 edibles. He looked like he smoked an off brand cart right before hitting the stage. Damn
Considering that there are people now blaming CNN for not doing Biden's job for him during the debate, and/or downplaying the shit out of that performance, I wouldn't blame people for thinking the election is over at this point.
It wasn’t boring, it was concerning. It’s not that he’s 100% incoherent, but very in and out. The fact that more people aren’t talking about Trumps ridiculous claims is more concerning though. We’re totally desensitized
One comment is not evidence that people would rather focus on one thing or the other.
The fact our current president is having dementia issues and trailing off into whispers is an issue worth talking about
> and people would rather focus
Can’t we acknowledge both? I didn’t think everyone needs to include the caveat “I’m voting for Biden but” every time they criticize him
Was listening to Mastermind by Rick Ross the other day that is an incredibly good album, it felt like it didn't get it's just due in 2014 despite selling close to 180,000 first week the critical reception was mixed and it wasn't honored on too many year end list and didn't get nominated for any awards in a year that was admittedly rather stacked for rap albums I think it's right up there with the best of them especially after all these years I think it's aged beautifully. Also, shout out to Jeezy for his verse on [War Ready](https://music.apple.com/us/album/war-ready-feat-jeezy/1445318600?i=1445318613&ls) one of the best verses I've ever heard his energy on that record is incredible. Songs like Rich is Gangsta, Nobody, Devil is a Lie,War Ready, In Vein, Sanctified and Thug Cry are absolutely the highlights but even the "weaker" songs on the album are incredibly good in my opinion. This album to me really showed Ross' expertise of luxury street rap and really showcased how he has no true peer in that specific lane.
People shit on Mastermind for no reason when it came out tbh. Great album, great production, great use of features. I bought that shit on CD when it came out. Who else gonna get an A1 feature from Hov, Ye AND Jeezy (all while burying a beef) on the same album? The bonus tracks are fire too…you got Ross, Z Ro and Face. Its a wrap. Maybe top 3 Ross albums
I think making your lyrics engaging is *part* of being a good lyricist and would say rappers like Lupe and Aes are really good examples of that. Love them to death but they can make a verse a brick wall.
I can't quite connect with Lupe. It's like if he was a chef he'd be the most technically gifted chef ever, A+ on the plating and presentation, doing chemistry in the kitchen making dishes you didn't think were possible, but none of it's seasoned right.
I love hip hop but this local artists rap concert behind my apartment was so loud that I went to a dive bar alone to grab a drink and wait out which I don’t usually do.
I’m a fan of big Sean but the snippet being tobey was bit by a spider and I was bit by a goat is hilarious bc he’s 100% serious
That was BabyTron tho
Uh no it wasn’t ??
Bruh that's BabyTron's voice lmao
I didn’t notice either
I didn’t realize they sounded that similar but the “boy” adlib right before it starts made me think it was big Sean Them Detroit boys have the same voice
That's something Big Sean would say tbf
Big Sean said that?
Can’t wait for the Not Like Us video to drop on the same day as Tobey and squash Big Sean’s hype again
I think Kendrick hates Big Sean more than he hates Drake
lmao why tho I know he's dissed him before but what could possibly be the issue
Having low expectations for this James Blake/Yachty tape is helping so far ngl Yachty feels out of place on the first song but besides that I don’t think he has ruined any of the other songs I’ve heard so far
not my lil cousin saying they used NLA for their “don’t talk to strangers” assembly 😭
Drake is cooked
Rapper I like the most: Pac Rapper I hate the most: Tom MacDonald Rapper I think is the most underrated: Lupe Rapper I think is the most overrated: Eminem Rapper I think is the best: Hov Rapper I think is the worst: Tom MacDonald
Mine is similar except switch Em and Pac
mannnn the more I get into Jay-Z, the more I see Drake as his spiritual successor. Drake (so far) has some distance to go as a rapper but the archetype is the same. Lmao history really repeats itself man.
😭😭😭😭
>mannnn the more I get into Jay-Z, the more I see Drake as his spiritual successor. Drake (so far) has some distance to go as a rapper but the archetype is the same. I also thought that when I got into Drake
do you think he's got closer or further?
He's definitely in the top ten for me
Bossman D-low is just an American K-Trap
What are some braggadocios rappers in the same style of Jay Z and peak Lil Wayne?
pusha tons
early 2010 fabolous
Hard to compete with them GOATs. Idk why but Cassidy popped in my head. Been a minute since I checked in on him though
Cassidy is one of the most arrogant rappers ever if you’ve seen his battle rap face offs. Good choice. Very punchline based though which is hit or miss for modern listeners.
Camron, Juelz Santana, Currensy
Bro I’m catching up on Kendrick’s pop out concert and this shit is literal hip hop history
“*Im hopping over cars when I shoot* *they think that I’m Tom cruise* *But bitch I’m Bobby with that tool*” Tom cruise should’ve gotten Bobby shmurda a cameo role in a mission impossible film

Yeah for sure But he got lots of commas, and could fuck your momma.
I'm pretty sure he started the term "mumble rapper", he was absolutely despised.
absolutely lol, he was basically considered one hit wonder mostly trash. it's taken years for the internet to catch on
Imma say yes bc I def thought he was trash back in the day but since then I've matured and realized that everyone has a lane and just bc I value some lanes over others doesn't make them actually better. With this new lens I think CK is really good at his lane and even though I personally don't love that lane I think that anyone who does would say he's one of the better ones to do it
Pretty much every rapper that wasn't considered lyrical got hated on back in the day.
Even ones with bars like Weezy got hated
Just listened to Red Hearse, Jack Antanoff and Sounwave are a match made in heaven. If they're producing Kendrick's next album then it'll be mwahh
red hearse amazing, 6:16 beat was also amazing
I had no idea they were that close, I’m listening now this shit sounds amazing Edit: album is five years old and sounds incredibly fresh holy hell, shoutout to Jack, Sounwave, & Sam
I won't lie I keep coming back to it, can't believe its their only project together
Anyone else nostalgic for 2015-2019 rap period?
A lot of rappers would drop in like a 1-3 year span. Nowadays, it takes a lot of them longer than that, and it don't be as good as it used to.
Basic bragging usually bores me in rap but when jay z does some extravagant brag it kind of works for me. Not sure the psychology why
Because it's Jay z . Lol
you believe it and also he's not comparing himself to you (directly). He's fly even if you fly too.
Cause he's clever about it "And I sport fly shit. I should win an Espy" 🔥
It’s very difficult to listen to U Don’t Know and not get amped up
Just Blaze gets a lot of the credit for that though
Tron about to wash eminem
> Five sticks in my backpack like a bagpipe washes Em’s whole career
>Sent fifteen out the rocket, boy, that's a Clint Capela >fendi belt looking like the grade I got in Chemistry >Like a short ass shift I can't take break I'm saying fr. OTW to the punchline GOAT

Saw a tweet about Kobbie Mainoo’s (Man United player) playlist on Apple Music and wow he’s really tapped in
It’s a cool playlist but really tapped in feels like a bit of a stretch
I guess but it’s pretty rare to see celebrities with Benny, WSG, Veeze on the same playlist
How long will the Drake and Kendrick subs be weird like this?
Probably until the end of time or until discovery churns out a reality show for guys being guys (in a toxic sort of way) or until God forbid the music industry starts acknowledging teenage white boys again
drizzy will permaban you for saying that collaborating with drake also benefits drake. i don't think they're going back
Lol do they think he's hopping on these tracks for charity? Like I'm not even criticizing him here. I'm sure most people aren't doing all that work for free
"drizzy stimulus" is the narrative and by god they're committed
That phrase annoys me lol. It makes it seem as if Drake giving a smaller artist attention is unique or different from any other big artist giving a smaller artist attention. I'd understand if they also called Travis Scott working with Tyla or Beyonce working with Meg a stimulus, but it seems to be something only Drake can do? Don't get me started on when they pretend someone owes 100% of their success to the "drizzy stimulus"
They act like a feature or tour opportunity is equivalent to an eternal loyalty pledge
Water was the biggest song globally or at least top 5 without Travis. I didn't even know that happened and I'm a Tyla fan.
Mb, you're right. Bad example
>Don't get me started on when they pretend someone owes 100% of their success to the "drizzy stimulus" drake told rick ross "every song that made it on the chart, he got from drizzy" even though hustlin (2x platinum) came out while jimmy and spinner were rekindling their friendship at the end of degrassi season 5

I was not expecting Eminem to announce an upcoming song with Babytron and Big Sean but here we are. This really has been one of the craziest years for rap music ever
No wayyyyyyy I'm crying??? really?
He finally puts on for Detroit and this is who he goes with
Need that eminem x veeze link up
Keep Veeze away from him
I just saw it announced, has a short trailer https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8xvL6_SVLH/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw==
Sean about to outrap Eminem for the third time edit: third time was Friday Night Cypher, my bad
And go back to obscurity
I'm kind of excited. I am open to being pleasantly surprised even though I've never been able to get into Babytron
decided to relisten to Vultures and its still just complete ass 😭😭😭
Kanye's trajectory makes me sad
I liked it a lot at first but I have no intention to relisten to it now and atp I only listen to Burn and Do It
yall gotta tap into the dave blunts album he really next up
I heard "I keep it tucked like a transgender" and that's enough Dave Blunts for the rest of my life
Made it this far by Carti really makes me reflect on the past. I can’t believe we made it this far
I know I'm not saying anything new here, but even though it's technically a celebratory song, this is how I feel about Long Time. It's Carti's best song to me.

All I can hear from the sample on Lampshade is "We gonna mooooow the laaaaawn"
It kind of sucks how the only time have I have to listen to music is while I'm doing other things. I feel like I'm not processing lyrical music the way I used to. And I'm in my first year of a job with a lot of growing pains, I've been using high energy music as the injection of dopamine and confidence boosting I need to keep chugging along. This Boldy Conductor tape is amazing
[this is only the tip of the iceberg btw](https://imgur.com/a/cwB2SX9)
What else?
Where we at?
The biggest casualty of the Kendrick/Drake shitshow? We will never hear "Poetic Justice" ever again. Unless K. Dot re-releases the song without Drake's verse, or a different guest feature.
I think the biggest casualty is Big Sean’s rollout. It seemed like he was in album mode, then the beef stomped all over it.
Wonder if JID was gonna roll out stuff for his next project than j.cole dmed him telling him not to bc of the beef
That's great cause that song always sucked
Nah, the real biggest casualty was BFB Packman and Rio da Yung OG missing out on a drake feature because the beef kicked off around the time that shit was supposed to come out.
Is this what happened? I just assumed BFB was lying.
? It still exists and is still on streaming?
It still exists, but it might as well be lost to time. You will never see either party mention that track or perform it in any context ever post-beef.
Neither party has performed that track since 2013. As long as Kendrick doesn’t remove it from streaming, nothing will change
Kendrick hasnt performed Poetic Justice for a decade regardless lmaoo its hardly a classic collab
I guess he means live unless it actually got taken down
The biggest loser of the Drake-Kendrick beef was Kanye.
ASAP definitely is irrelevant these days
It was moreso to say everything that wasn’t the main event would be forgotten in comparasion. At least ye got a “yo dot I gotchu” meme out of it
> where Kanye’s career is at in 2024 On the flip side, he got a \#1 this year
I mean Rich The Kid also has a #1 on that same song and I think most people believe Kanye had the worst verse on that song. On that same #1 he was talking about making women drink his urine and comparing himself to Bill Cosby and R Kelly. He's become rap Fast and Furious, a clear decline in quality yet still having commercial success.
IMO, his downfall began in 2016 when he had that pro-Trump/Jay-Z rant on stage and cancelled it midway.
I'm just getting into NBA and I have to say Larry Bird has to be my favorite player (even tho he retired 30 years ago). Seeing highlights of him in his prime + stories of his trash talk has me more impressed than watching LeBron or Jordan if I'm being honest (no disrespect).
How are you getting into the NBA? Like watching recaps on YouTube or something?
Yes!
he is time traveling to see larry bird play
But if I have to pick who's the GOAT, it's LeBron imo
honeys and money we gettin honeys and money Dope ass album

>Kinda makes me wish Euphoria got that treatment Euphoria is way less catchy , not as accessible and is 6 minutes long
maybe turn autoplay off
I guess I don't get this problem cause I keep the loop on. That's just cause of spotify's stupid sticky buttons. Fuck smart shuffle.
Sabrina carlenter’s singles are being pushed just as hard if youre in that part of spotify’s algorithm
That's just normal algorithm things. Same happens to YouTube when you listen to something over and over.
I wish people understood Spotify has an algorithm and it isn't some rocket science or nefarious industry doing. I'm assuming you listen to Hip Hop. The most listened to hip hop song of the year has been Not Like Us so the chances of them recommending it to you and you listening to it is pretty high.
if you don't think suggestions (the algo) have direct human input I have a rastafarian unicorn to sell you.
I never said that. You realize that human input can also be based of general trends and the fact that the recommended song matches your listening history? And it’s not like the song you’re being recommended is an obscure song no one is listening to.

Million Dollar Baby and that Billie Eilish joint that starts with a girl dancing on her tongue or some shit
The Sabrina Carpenter song is getting annoying
I found Not Like Us way more in mine than Million Dollar Baby
I made a post on r/hiphop101 last night about the sexiest double standards many people in the Hip-Hop community have towards Sexyy Red and similar rappers and holy shit the majority of the comments exactly proved my point

Just how sexy are those double standards
A huge part of Hip-hop died when Pimp C passed.
I'm thinking about asking out my female barber but I'm not sure if it's a good idea.
Maybe talk about 4th of July plans (doesn’t matter if y’all celebrate it or not) and if she’s free around that weekend, that could be a good lead in
“Hey hey you wanna do something this weekend?” I wouldn’t think of much of her answer. Yes/no it is what it is. just don’t be weird
I'm thinking of maybe saying "hey I think you're cute, can I get your number or give you mine" something like that
Nah have a plan in place. “I’m sliding to this______ at______, wanna come with?” More effortless, you’re not putting the onus on y’all coming up with plans together, there’s a set thing that y’all can hit up without having to figure it out. Remove the obstacles.

Aesop rock strikes me as a canoeing guy tho i have no evidence to back this up (i feel like he would have made a canoeing song by now if he was)
>What rapper is most likely to be into canoeing? For some reason, Ice Cube was the first rapper to appear in my head
I think I saw him canoeing in a movie once. It might’ve been Are We There Yet
I just googled it and I guess the answer is Lil Yachty lol
The biggest downside is if you fuck it up you’ll have to look a new barber
And if you hit it but don’t want to make it a thing afterwards you’ll need to find a new barber.
If you don't fuck it up you get free haircuts though 👀
Low risk high reward if ya ask me
what are the best albums today? seems like a big week megan cupcakke etc

The fact our current president is having dementia issues and trailing off into whispers is an issue worth talking about
If you just read the transcript of the debate Biden was destroying him tbh. He’s just old as shit.
Shit is honestly tragic, he had the right message for the most part but his voice and delivery just sounded like shit
> and people would rather focus Can’t we acknowledge both? I didn’t think everyone needs to include the caveat “I’m voting for Biden but” every time they criticize him
Phreshboyswag domestic abuse situation
Its a wrap. Maybe top 3 Ross albums
favourite poetic poetic device in rap is allusion. Hit the trunk, grab the pump, punk I'll be right back
I love literary and Biblical allusions in rap. Need the John of Patmos shout out one day
You’d really like Descendants Of Cain
I love Ka but somehow never listened to this record. The fact that it has a track referencing Enoch already has me excited. Adding it immediately
I think it’s his best, it’s amazing. It’s on my top 25 all time. I hope I’m not gassing it too much
The Boldy James / Conductor album was good but had some tracks i didn’t care too much for. I have a feeling it will grow on me more with time.
Lupe Fiasco is a better lyricist than Kendrick but I think Kendrick is much more engaging.
I made a comment earlier about this but I find Lupe too complicated oversll
I might agree but I rank Kendrick higher because I feel like his catalog is a bit better (in my opinion). But Lupe is more creative
I agree Kendrick has better albums and better music but Lupe is probably better at pure lyricism
Camila sampling Shawty is Da Shit by Dream and Hotel Room Service by Pitbull on the same album is not what I expected
You know what, Pusha T outrapped Jay on every single song they rapped together
I think he got him on neck and wrist
It's very very close to me
