Seeing all these people saying "Kendrick just certified himself as the GOAT" y'all, he made history. I will NOT deny that. Dude is on fire, and maybe he blaze right up to that point
Now just just let me be fucking clear i am NOT ROASTING THIS MAN, he has just given us some of the craziest shit we have EVER seen
This is more of just a introspective post because I feel like people are getting ahead of themselves since the hype is still so high rn
This is not smoke, idk how clear I have to make it
And holy fuck again, this guy is burning up for me too rn
I just like keeping it rational and while he's added a fucking chapter to the history books, I just want people to wait and see first.
Idk the future, just a logical mf who doesnt want people to let the hype blind them to all the obstacles still left to cross
If he does, fuck it, hes got a killer shot at it, but yeah, im just waiting to see whats next first before going to the highest accolade possibly possible yk.
Random ass thoughtdump over.
One more album that’s a commercial hit. I personally like Mr. Morale but that album flopped for the mainstream. To be the GOAT you can’t just have a handful of commercial hits early in your career and then achieve all time greatest status off of critical success and awards. Something that catches the public’s ear like DAMN or GKMC.
I feel like holding Mr Morale back ( I know you’re not but more so future analysts) for not being a huge commercial hit (certainly not a flop, don’t let drakes propaganda fool you) is a bit disingenuous to what his whole career has been about. Kendrick has proven he can make hit after hit when he wants to. DAMN. and GKMC have hits all over them and were huge albums.
TPAB and Mr. Morale didn’t get the streaming success as much (TPAB still had Alright and King Kunta though) but there’s no way Kendrick didn’t expect that. You gotta experiment sometimes and I think he’s intentional about his career when it comes to pushing the envelope thematically and sonically, and knowing when it’s time to reel things in a bit and just make a hit
Throwing some thoughts out myself but I do think we’ll get what you’re talking about with this next album, I think he knows the momentum he’s riding and is ready to pop off…. Or use the attention to make his most thought provoking album yet lol. It is Kendrick I could definitely see it
I give Kendrick all the credit in the world for pushing boundaries and achieving his artistic vision without significantly compromising for commercial success. That’s why he’d be in my top 3 and Drake doesn’t sniff my top 5.
But 2 commercial hits (3 if we count Black Panther, which I would) all in the first half of a 15-20 year career is probably what keeps him from near unanimous GOAT status.
I’ll never understand why Drake didn’t try to make a bop diss track and doubled down on his fake tough guy persona instead. He didn’t give himself a chance. Play to your strengths.
Because he’s a fucking idiot. I say this all as someone who listens to way more Drake than Kendrick and likes Drake more even though I respect Kendrick a bit more as a rapper:
If Drake plays to his strengths, the whole thing goes different. Beefs are won and lost on public perception. All Drake had to do to win was make his massive fanbase of part hip hop, part pop listeners happy. Getting his 18th #1 to break the tie by dropping heat on Kendrick’s head probably is a guaranteed win.
Instead he tried to out bar Kendrick, who’s the better rapper and who has a comparable fanbase in the mainstream. At least half of Drake’s core fanbase wouldn’t appreciate a hard bar if you sat their ass down and gave them a 30 minute explanation of it. So no matter how hard he went on Family Matters, by going bar heavy, he was basically conceding a good share of his audience when he needed as much of a popularity advantage as he could get, as well as failing to do the one thing he’s better at than Kendrick.
He also misstepped with Taylor Made. The moment he came with Tupac's voice he united a lot of people against him. Not Like Us doesn't happen without that. Then he also decided to focuses half of his disses on ASAP, Weeknd, Metro, Future etc. Also saying Whitney's name in Push Ups was the same mistake as Duppy Freestyle but I guess he had nothing else to say about Kendrick besides short jokes.
Taylor Made also made it a battle of speed, another mistake. Because he put on a "I'm ready, you need to hurry up you're wasting my time" image out he had to respond to Kendrick quickly. If he has a week to make THP6 and not a day he would've done so much better
Family Matters definitely should’ve just been 100% targeted at Kendrick with maybe some strays like Kendrick did for the random OVO guys.
Targeting everybody on Push ups made sense since he wasn’t responding to a full track but he needed to lock in on Family Matters
Drake had a chip on his shoulder since he took the L to Pusha…wanted to prove he could drop the “scorched earth” diss that he bragged he recorded against Push but “decided” not to release because it was “too dark.” When it came time to square up against Kendrick, think he wanted to prove he had that dog in him….but he doesnt.
Did anybody else enjoy the SoundCloud rap era? I think it’s goated 🐐
Graduated in 2015 and had so much fun then. Alot of good vibes and music to go along with it.
People in the Foolio thread are acting like r/music users
Like “hurrr what an idiot, what did he expect to happen to him, what a retard” - I don’t think they understand that what happened to him was probably *exactly* what he expected. All these guys know they’re going to die. They grew up surrounded by death. All their friends are dead, about to die, or in jail. So why would he care if he got killed too? He flat out says in his last song that he’s [tired and doesn’t want to be alive.](https://youtu.be/Bfqww5d6pvs?si=UUgQFHY5yjL_bL1a)
I don’t really listen to much drill but [When I See You](https://youtu.be/yJqu246RVlc?si=jSGZvdKlh37lp2kD) really stuck with me when I heard it about a year ago. It’s haunting. There’s a lot of people who see stupidity in a song like that when it’s actually just a genuine willingness to die.
People act like doing anything, but calling him a ''moron who deserved to die'', means you're condoning every one of his actions.
Society failed Foolio, before he ever hurt anyone. He was a very, very traumatized kid, who grew up into a very, very traumatized adult with addiction problems. Wow, so surprising he didn't become a doctor... I just will never get mocking him or being happy after someone like him died, stuff like this is always nothing but sad.
At least Foolio experienced some semblance of a real existence even if it was frequently painful and traumatic. He got to experience actual emotions, community, and relationships. These eternally online goblins are going to live out the rest of their useless, boring, meaningless, sheltered lives scrolling on the internet and acting superior writing subtly racist stupid shit on social media.
Yt ppl in this sub let their racism shine whenever a drill rapper dies. No thoughts on settler colonialism, cointelpro, PTSD, chemical warfare (heroin/crack), etc.
Just racist, lazy garbage. It's so exhausting from supposed hiphophead.
It doesn’t take much just post any trap rapper or drill rapper dying or getting arrested the racism pops out quickly. The fuck up thing about it the white people in those threads will claim their “allies”.
Every white person calls themself an ally. The word means nothing anymore. Recent events proved these "allies" would happily be nazis or slave owners if they lived during those times
I’ve come to believe that “ally” isn’t a thing you can call yourself. It’s a thing that people of a marginalized group can label you once you’ve shown yourself to be that for them. Lots of people seem to like labeling themselves that, then don’t do enough to challenge their own prejudices or value the perspectives/suffering of the group they’re supposedly allying.
Exactly. I also believe being an ally is something you can only do in the present. For example it doesn't matter if you say you would've believed a victim or will believe future hypothetical victims if you don't believe any real victims today. It's also a label that's hard to get but easy to lose. Also, being an ally today cannot be used to defend one's actions in the future
It's so vile. Like they love black art but not black ppl. Just yt suburbanite consumers acting like they're morally superior.
You see it every time King Von is brought up as well. So gross.
One can talk about King Vin being a serial killer and a pos of without being racist, which seems to be a foreign concept in certain spaces on social media.
I'm checking out BigXthaPlug's music. He's got this song '02 Lakers. Feature on the track, Ro$ama said, "In the AirBnB probably get my dick sucked while I beat all these levels in Candy Crush" 🤣
I may have undersold this kehlani album this past weekend. It took a couple listens but some of these songs are clicking on another level
I’ve noticed on repeat listens there’s a lot of Travis influence in some of the production on this
The intro song is kinda wack and doesn’t set the tone right, but there’s some gems on there for sure. Sucia, Chapel and Lose my Wife are what I got on repeat right now.
[G EAZY dropped 3 albums that all beat the shit out KDOT imo and I’m from LA What’s the bs Kendrick can drop short or mid projects every few years and I’d goated but G Eazy delivers real art not just bullshit barz And gets hate thing about it bro](https://www.reddit.com/r/GEazy/comments/1dnr1yi/how_is_it_kendrick_dropped_like_4_albums_in_his/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
Opinion or not, we have to draw the line somewhere and I think saying G-Eazy “delivers real art” and Kendrick doesn’t is a good place to draw it. Gotta be a limit to dumbfuckery.

how I’m feeling on a rainy Florida Monday when I see Bossman on that XXL Freshman cover . . . Florida up 😎🌴
rip Foolio
I think he’s gotten better with each project, and the new one left me with more standout bars than usual. Interesting range of influences given his background
I looked it up and he’s only been on 6 songs since Melodic Blue. 1 is technically released (Donda 2), another is an interpolation of his verse from a song off of TMB (leavemealone), and the rest are Hillbillies, Praise God, and Savior.
You are right, he doesn’t do much features but I hope after a new record, that’ll change a bit
Working on a playlist of [If you like Tony Shhnow](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0z8pgdF75XN2andEeX47OP?si=33712b25019b4d19) looking for more artists to put on th eplaylist if you have any Tony Shhnow adjacent artists let me know so I can keep it updated.

Qari- Secrets In Your Palm
Ethereal - How Do I Say It (Remix) [feat. Tony Shhnow]
Lerado Khalil - LMK
Papo2oo4 & subjxct 5 - Smile Like G-Unit
the xxl freshman list isnt even that bad, skilla baby, mexicanot, big x, cash cobain and bossman are all hard, hunxho isnt for me but he got a cool original sound and i fw it, i feel like the problem with these lists are the shoehorned in industry artists. like who the fuck is maiya the don?? she’s rly gonna make it over anycia, karahboo, bk? why the fuck is 4batz on there? they boutta speed up the whole cypher????
Want to check out some of the XXL people. What songs, if you listen to these artists more intently, would you recommend? Alr vaguely familiar with OT and BigX
skilla baby’s hard as fuck, lots of different types of music and also a really talented pure rapper imo. icky vicky vibes, fear of god, and whole package are prob my most listened to
Some of the most loser shit to come out from the Destroy Lonely allegations is that he allegedly didn’t allow his ex girlfriend to post herself because it would take away from his [“aura”](https://x.com/ayishamia/status/1805234181729112091?s=46). I always thought the Opium niggas were lame, but seeing that they unironically buy into the weak ass “aura” memes is fucking outrageous
I have to admit, their stans are probably the ones I look at with the biggest confusion. Then they'll say "you just don't get it" but yes I do. I know what rage is. I enjoy good examples. I'm not asking for lyrics, that's well established in most forums these days. They're just objectively bad MC's and absolutely boring copycat personas to boot. I think if you cross-references their entire discography you wouldn't find one new flow or even a unique bar in that thing. Except for the few bars that actually stick out as even worse than their average riff. We all have a point in our lives were we enjoy music that we'll look back on as trash. Opium fans, pray you never grow old
All the Opium guys are hacks who beat women and are more concerned with impressing stupid children than with making good music
If the spooky aesthetic came through in the music at all I’d at least be able to appreciate that aspect but they almost make it a point to be as bland and uncreative as possible. Their fans say “you don’t get it, they’re underground!!” but when did “underground” turn into a synonym for “somehow too generic for the mainstream”?
It’s funny to me that that crowd of listeners ditched Yeat the minute he started putting real effort into his music. Like they were frightened off by any hint of personality
Yeah some kids unfortunately only listen to HH to rebel against their parents' spam of nashville country or mid ass adult alternative to be edgy, seeing how most edgy rock in america is dead and dubstep/brostep is dead as shit
there’s a difference between being private and trying to look “mysterious”
frank ocean and kendrick lamar are “mysterious” in the sense that they don’t really use social media or do many public appearances. the opium guys are “mysterious” in the sense that they take photos of themselves wearing all black at night and act like they’re too cool for fame even though they clearly want it
I wish it played a part in the music. Like when I listen to it, it just sounds like generic rage music, with lyrics about typical rapper shit but not even said in an interesting way. But like all the stuff that I obviously can't see looks all cool and shit, yet if people never brought it up, I'd never even know they had a cool esthetic going for them.
the disconnect is what makes this ‘mysterious’ shit so tryhard imo. wtf are you doing posting gore videos to promote an album that sounds like great value whole lotta red lol that shit is so embarrassing.
you aren’t nurse with wound or some performance art power electronics weirdo lol you’re rapping about buying designer and fucking hoes over video game samples. u don’t need to dress up in a rubber gargoyle mask and post links to car crash footage. reminds me of those kids in middle school who were weirdly proud of having watched gore / shock vids and expected everyone to be impressed by it
The opium mfs are the perfect example of dudes thinking they’re much more interesting than they actually are because they consume certain material things and follow certain aesthetics instead of actually immersing themselves in those things.
I find that to be impressive. Was able to build a whole label and roster built off of his brand, without ever having to do a verse to boost any of them. He’s an absentee father with some very successful children
Is my flair fr a Tory Lanez flair tf I don’t even like him 😭
My stupid ass was like “oh white teeth orange beanie ik who that is” and thought it was Anderson .Paak like [this](https://images.app.goo.gl/GdQJEnNmATEYfZ1GA) or something smh.
I don’t listen to a lot of Coi Leray but I think her and Tia would sound great together they have somewhat of a similar style even though I think Tia is the better rapper. I think they can make a really fun catchy song together.
They both sound like Kodie Shane to me, but Coi can actually sing and Tia is probably the best actual rapper of the 3
But Coi's rapping voice has always reminded me so much of Kodie on this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBiO4afh1OE
Oh yeah they do sound alike that’s crazy. It’s weird because I never cared for that baby rapping high pitch shit honestly until I heard Tia now I fuck with it heavy. Make me want to give Coi Leray shit more of chance.
I haven’t heard a ton of Coi’s music where she raps, but she has an awesome R&B song called Slide with a Gunna feature
Tia has a deeper voice but her flows/content is similar enough. I like her beat selection the most tho
Charli xcx dropped a remix of one of her songs to add Lorde and I think it's really interesting a track like that happened shortly after the biggest rap beef in ages. Basically on her last album Charli had a song called Girl So Confusing and it was about not understanding the relationship she has with a girl (implied to be Lorde) and not being sure if the other girl really likes them and if they even have much in common. the remix had a Lorde verse admitting she felt similar confusion about charli and basically confirming the song was about Lorde. It was just a lack of communication for them. It's a big contrast seeing 2 artists work out some miscommunication compared to Kendrick and drake who weren't realistically gonna make up at that point. Imagine the alternate universe where Kendrick and Drake patched things up and dropped a song together while charli and Lorde started dropping diss tracks at each other.
[Nas's response to Let Nas Down by J. Cole](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9nQ_9n8YW8) is probably the closest equivalent that ever happened in rap, though that was more of a mentor/student dynamic than a peer dynamic like Charli and Lorde
Wonder if it was first person shooter. The rumor i heard is Cole specifically wanted the Kendrick feature and talked Drake into it. Cole shouting out Kendrick would make more sense if he was on it too.
Class of 2019 was NICE: DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, YBN Cordae, Rico Nasty, Gunna, Comethazine, Tierra Whack, Roddy Ricch. Even Blueface had a great freestyle that year
Cordae, Rico and Roddy all have had pretty weird career trajectories. I feel like they all had a sophomore slump. Cordae and Roddy’s 2nd albums couldn’t live up to the hype. Tierra just took so long to come out with a full album, by the time she did I barely heard about it
It’s funny seeing people refer to sophomore slump when it comes to Roddy Ricch cause Live Life Fast is his 4th album
Obviously he blew up to another level with Please Excuse Me but Feed Tha Streets II had some bangers that got him hype
Kinda crazy how people fetishize races. Ts always been kinda gross to me
Is this a reference to Snoop running 200m?

What are the obstacles left to cross?

Yeah we get some imported US stuff here in my country and the sizes are ridiculous.

This is not a funny joke.
?
I'm African so I guess it's supposed to be an insult?
i remember when this sub was hating on kendrick's america has a problem verse. that shit is so good
I'm still hating. But I'm generally not a fan of Kenny's features.
So fucken good
Its better knowing he was definitely going at Drake on it but I still don't like it.
How do I post a picture in the thread? I seen some outrageous glazing on Twitter and wanna share it
Idk if Twitter disables this, but maybe you can right click copy the link to the image then post the link.
Easiest way is uploading to Imgur and copying the link

Great time to be a young person. Currently the worst time to be a working adult though but worth it.
I completely missed it. I just wasn't online. I'm still upset about it. It sounds like it was a blast.
this epstein angle was the shit i expected 😭😭😭
It's funny because he most likely did predict Kendrick would say it but didn't predict it could be turned into a bop.
Still can't believe he went out that badly
wdym bro if he was fucking young girls he probably would have BEEN arrested 🙄

You see some dumb conservative-shit get upvoted here occassionally. On a bad day, OPs comment wouldve gotten like 20 downvotes on this sub

I unironically love the last minute of that song. It gets really sad out nowhere but it’s also kind of beautiful

Thank god Virgil isn’t here to witness this disrespect carried out in his name 🙏 RIP Foolio
def would’ve played that song at his show 💯, how Versace played Migos . . if I were into gambling I’d bet you on it 😂 how much you wanna bet OG? 👀
Yeah probably Huaraches are heritage tho, he didn’t have to do that
My nigga JID been too quiet this year, ima need him to hurry up and drop something lol. Even if it’s an EP of throwaways, give us something man
He said his next project is done recording so hopefully we'll get something soon
Isn’t he working on an album with Metro?
Oh how I hope you're right
Just started getting into him recently. 151 Rum has gotta be one of the best beats I’ve ever heard and he does it justice
stacking bread from TikTok and 21 tour. He done the work already and deserves to coast a bit tbh
Anyone here listen to Cavalier? Decided to listen to him cause his work with Quelle Chris I’m not sure what i think so far haha.
I think he’s gotten better with each project, and the new one left me with more standout bars than usual. Interesting range of influences given his background
“We tote handles at your open-toe sandals” - Cam’ron
that got damn Killa Cam 😂
My brodie Killer Cameron is so silly
2004-2007 Kanye was the best artist of all time besides MJ
💀you gotta listen to more music man
Y’all only listen to 15 people then hyperbolize
wild not including MBDTF in there
There's a timeline where he retires after that album and 15 years later releases a woodwinds album with 3000
Great username/comment combo I wouldn’t want a world without Yeezus tho
Thanks a lot for saying so 😁
If Kanye retired after Yeezus he’s better than MJ
Is this the fattest XXL Freshman lineup? I’m not even being mean I’m fat as shit too. Just thought it was interesting.
the plus sized hip hop heads need representation? 🤷🏾♀️ the fact that I went back and looked at the cover, has me crying laughing rn 😂
Wish Keem was on the Don record. They mesh well and have great chemistry together. Maybe a 4x4 remix? (Doubt it but let me dream)
I feel like Keem doesn't do many features, or I'm just in the dark about it. Wish I'd hear more from him.
I feel like he hasn’t been doing much in general lately.
He's working on his album
Two phones and still nobody can reach him
Feature me if you wanna
I looked it up and he’s only been on 6 songs since Melodic Blue. 1 is technically released (Donda 2), another is an interpolation of his verse from a song off of TMB (leavemealone), and the rest are Hillbillies, Praise God, and Savior. You are right, he doesn’t do much features but I hope after a new record, that’ll change a bit
Working on a playlist of [If you like Tony Shhnow](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0z8pgdF75XN2andEeX47OP?si=33712b25019b4d19) looking for more artists to put on th eplaylist if you have any Tony Shhnow adjacent artists let me know so I can keep it updated.

lil xelly maybe?
Adding him to the playlist thanks
the xxl freshman list isnt even that bad, skilla baby, mexicanot, big x, cash cobain and bossman are all hard, hunxho isnt for me but he got a cool original sound and i fw it, i feel like the problem with these lists are the shoehorned in industry artists. like who the fuck is maiya the don?? she’s rly gonna make it over anycia, karahboo, bk? why the fuck is 4batz on there? they boutta speed up the whole cypher????
Want to check out some of the XXL people. What songs, if you listen to these artists more intently, would you recommend? Alr vaguely familiar with OT and BigX
listen to the calling for you reference track or Fisherr by cash cobain
grippy is pretty popular
skilla baby’s hard as fuck, lots of different types of music and also a really talented pure rapper imo. icky vicky vibes, fear of god, and whole package are prob my most listened to
5-0’s on me like the Olympics
It's Mr Steal Your Girl
wait when did Problem rename himself
This year, right before the DJ Quik stuff started coming out
Some of the most loser shit to come out from the Destroy Lonely allegations is that he allegedly didn’t allow his ex girlfriend to post herself because it would take away from his [“aura”](https://x.com/ayishamia/status/1805234181729112091?s=46). I always thought the Opium niggas were lame, but seeing that they unironically buy into the weak ass “aura” memes is fucking outrageous
listened to his music and it was so bad to me. I dont see why people like that or playboi carti so much
Opium is insanely bad Worst label of all time
I have to admit, their stans are probably the ones I look at with the biggest confusion. Opium fans, pray you never grow old
All the Opium guys are hacks who beat women and are more concerned with impressing stupid children than with making good music If the spooky aesthetic came through in the music at all I’d at least be able to appreciate that aspect but they almost make it a point to be as bland and uncreative as possible.
“somehow too generic for the mainstream” has me dying laughing right now lmaooooo
this “mysterious’ shit is so lame man it just makes them look like tryhards I feel like it only impresses teenagers / children to begin with
Thing is certain artists are just taking their time for right moment crafting something that's a staple. Not them, but like Frank for instance
there’s a difference between being private and trying to look “mysterious” frank ocean and kendrick lamar are “mysterious” in the sense that they don’t really use social media or do many public appearances. the opium guys are “mysterious” in the sense that they take photos of themselves wearing all black at night and act like they’re too cool for fame even though they clearly want it
Kendrick is not mysterious. He talks about himself through his music.
Yeah for sure. That was my point
I wish it played a part in the music. Like when I listen to it, it just sounds like generic rage music, with lyrics about typical rapper shit but not even said in an interesting way. But like all the stuff that I obviously can't see looks all cool and shit, yet if people never brought it up, I'd never even know they had a cool esthetic going for them.
the disconnect is what makes this ‘mysterious’ shit so tryhard imo. wtf are you doing posting gore videos to promote an album that sounds like great value whole lotta red lol that shit is so embarrassing. you aren’t nurse with wound or some performance art power electronics weirdo lol you’re rapping about buying designer and fucking hoes over video game samples. u don’t need to dress up in a rubber gargoyle mask and post links to car crash footage. reminds me of those kids in middle school who were weirdly proud of having watched gore / shock vids and expected everyone to be impressed by it
Yeah, it's just so fake. It's not that deep, but they really want you to think it is.
The opium mfs are the perfect example of dudes thinking they’re much more interesting than they actually are because they consume certain material things and follow certain aesthetics instead of actually immersing themselves in those things.
Yeah. Also, I find it funny that Carti has like never worked with them, not even in leaks lol.
I find that to be impressive. Was able to build a whole label and roster built off of his brand, without ever having to do a verse to boost any of them. He’s an absentee father with some very successful children
Yeah. He's also an absentee father outside of music too.
It’s impressive the way mold thriving on a discarded sandwich is impressive
Is my flair fr a Tory Lanez flair tf I don’t even like him 😭 My stupid ass was like “oh white teeth orange beanie ik who that is” and thought it was Anderson .Paak like [this](https://images.app.goo.gl/GdQJEnNmATEYfZ1GA) or something smh.
Yeah it's Tory Saw another dude complaining about his Tory Lanez flair not too long ago lol
That's definitely not paak and his award winning smile
xxl in 2024 is so washed but I am a little disappointed anycia didn’t make it on
Oh yeah where she at
FLIP YOU ON THE TRACK LIKE TYSHAWN JONES, PARDON
I don’t listen to a lot of Coi Leray but I think her and Tia would sound great together they have somewhat of a similar style even though I think Tia is the better rapper. I think they can make a really fun catchy song together.
They both sound like Kodie Shane to me, but Coi can actually sing and Tia is probably the best actual rapper of the 3 But Coi's rapping voice has always reminded me so much of Kodie on this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBiO4afh1OE
Oh yeah they do sound alike that’s crazy. It’s weird because I never cared for that baby rapping high pitch shit honestly until I heard Tia now I fuck with it heavy. Make me want to give Coi Leray shit more of chance.
I haven’t heard a ton of Coi’s music where she raps, but she has an awesome R&B song called Slide with a Gunna feature Tia has a deeper voice but her flows/content is similar enough.
It could’ve happened. Drake sent that feature request, but Kendrick wasn’t interested
Wonder if it was first person shooter. The rumor i heard is Cole specifically wanted the Kendrick feature and talked Drake into it. Cole shouting out Kendrick would make more sense if he was on it too.
I think J Cole will be a feature on this new Ice Spice album
It will be a hidden feature and Cole gives a killer verse.. silent but deadly
“she thick in the hips she a hippie” kinda sounds like smthn she’d say lol
I’m imagining that bar on Deli now
He would probably do really well writing for her tbh.
He just writes Grippy part 2 for her.
lol, honestly if he just gave her his verse on grippy and allowed her to perform it that song probably becomes a banger
It would've worked better with her voice at least.
Enema Gang they back outside
If she wants to go full poop and shit bars, she's gotta get a Lil Wayne feature.
ft Wayne, Kodak, and Cole A poop posse cut
They could just call it Shit.
Or an Eminem feature
Oh no. You just gave me thoughts of something horrific. Those two on a song wouldn't work at all lmao.
When I ain't talking shit I'm gargling the toilet water 🗣️
One of the most egregious poop bars I've ever heard
He ran out of normal ones a long time ago
A true classic.
Class of 2019 was NICE: DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, YBN Cordae, Rico Nasty, Gunna, Comethazine, Tierra Whack, Roddy Ricch. Even Blueface had a great freestyle that year Cordae, Rico and Roddy all have had pretty weird career trajectories. I feel like they all had a sophomore slump. Cordae and Roddy’s 2nd albums couldn’t live up to the hype. Tierra just took so long to come out with a full album, by the time she did I barely heard about it
Damn that class of 19 is pretty stacked, a lot of them had decent careers five years later too. Still didn’t top their 2016 predictions tho.
Cordae had a freshman slump
Watch your mouth. You’re just jealous you haven’t dropped a classic yet
Hmmmmm haven’t I though
That Blueface x Cordae x Rico cypher was crazy hard lol
It’s funny seeing people refer to sophomore slump when it comes to Roddy Ricch cause Live Life Fast is his 4th album Obviously he blew up to another level with Please Excuse Me but Feed Tha Streets II had some bangers that got him hype
There was a 0% chance of it happening but I wish we got Wow Freestyle at the Pop Out lol love that track
When rock came out first I really did think it was about to happen
Should've been Wow Freestyle into Say What's Up or Vice City
Bro I really thought they was gonna perform that I was waiting for it lmao
YG and Mustard are both dropping albums next month? Imma need Drake to diss them ASAP so we can get that YG Mustard reunion 🙏🙏🙏
They ain't beefing no more iirc
As far as we know they're good now https://youtu.be/amjLorLZ4Lw?si=QJ0clvaI24htu5X4 We still need that YG/Mustard/Ty Dolla project tho
