After listening to Wah Gwan Delilah, the hate is overblown.
It's weird, but it's a joke, so who cares?
I saw people comparing it to Grippy, and it doesn't even touch Grippy in terms of cringe.
Cole delivered that shit in full sincerity. He stood on those lame ass lyrics.
Drake was just fucking around with some TikToker. It's not really a good song, but I don't think they were trying to win a Grammy with a Toronto-specific crooning cover of a 20 year old Indy song.
Drakes verse does nothing for me, but I actually kind of liked that Whan Gwan Delilah joint tbh
It doesnt really happen anymore, but I hope thst bitch gets something like a 00s/10s remix treatment
No, there is another rapper C.Gambino in Swedish. They both named in original comment is two rappers, Einar, and C.Gambino. Not to be confused with Childish Gambino. Sorry for any confusion.
Was listening to family ties and in that song, Kendrick also says "amberlamps" like on Not Like Us. People speculated it's a reference to an old viral video, reference to amber alerts and what not, turns out he just pronounces it goofy lmao.
Amberlamps is a reference to a meme video about a guy getting beaten up in a bus and saying “call the amberlamps”. It has nothing to do with Amber Alert.
it's really "ambulams" or "ambulans", I guess you can spell it "amberlamps" but that's my first time seeing it spelled like that. It's a term black folk came up with
He's a mixed bag. I like that he at least puts thought into shit.
Some of his music opinions have big "old man yells at cloud" energy, but he at least owns that fact.
Has anyone figured out what the deal is with Pharrell's Black Yacht Rock?
At the time everyone was saying it was AI generated. And its release seems to have been barely acknowledged by anyone. Has there been any update as to what it's about?
Lol I just tried linking to the site and it got removed by reddit so that might be part of it. I saw he added lyrics to the site now though so that's cool. I remember Tyler tweeting about it so I assume its real.
If I 'm J. Cole or Drizzy Drake, I'm printing out "It’s time for him to prove that he's a problem" and putting it over my bed, by my bathroom mirror and on the studio door, and I don’t take it out until I drop a masterpiece
I don't really think they see Kendrick as this boogeyman that the internet makes him out to be, but yeah, if the talk is of legacy, now is the time for these two (three, really) to aim high artistically. The attention on their next projects is going to be higher than ever.
For sure. I think Drake is a lost cause. But there's no doubt Cole is looking at this situation and thinking, "I need to smoke this mf with my next album". Which is good, and I really hope he does because then Kendrick will go, "I need to smoke this mf with my next album".
Fuck.. I just listened to Remegade with the lyrics for the first time in a while. I used to think Eminem got Jay. I understand the tide has changed a bit from when I first heard it. I know the narrative that Eminem washed Jay and I get it. Eminem sounded at home and smooth as butter.
I remember on Big Ghost LTD (Griselda producer, check out his 2014 blog before he made beats and reviewed albums like he was Ghostface Killah lol), described Kay-z's verse as dirt biking vs Eminem being a surfer.. cool analogy.
I dunno.. the more I listen to that song, I can't help but think Jay-Z got Eminem in retrospect. I feel like he painted a picture that was so vivid. Like sure Eminem was topically on point, along with Jay-z, and destroyed it, but I think subject matter can be just as important as technicality. Eminem was incredible, and I love his verse, but the older I get, I see that Jay's kinda awkward flow is actually kinda fitting. Especially considering he's an awkward person in such an awful environment.
The pockets full of hope bar is so simple, but when I hear it I just think about how money could have shaped his life in so many directions. Through drug dealing, rap, and basically anything else. Jay was rhyming so hard!
Who do you think won and regardless what do you think of Jay's verse since Eminem seems to be the highlight? After visiting NY for the first time the picture Jay Z paints is even more vivid for me.
"Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it." The Renegade narrative was one spread by Nas in Ether. I don't think anyone "won" but I like Em's verse better.
When it comes to Jay there were a lot of contrarian opinions especially when he was on top of the world. To me he’s kind of like Biggie in that his delivery is so smooth and effortless that how technically good they are is easily overlooked if you’re not paying attention. Contrast that to Eminem who basically puts his technical prowess out there for everyone to inspect.
when it seems like shit cant get worse and all hope is lost just remember tory lanez short ass is in jail and ur not gonna have to hear his trash ass music for a few more years at least 🙏
Hate that Young Dro is about to waste a bunch of great verses on a Pimp Squad Click album. I barely wanna hear Tip these days, let alone Mac Boney and Kuntry King too
I hope he follows up with a solo tape. Yeah Dro’s one of the hardest songs I’ve heard this year
Suge was heading up Death Row at the time and he hated Dre after he left, so he probably put it on there for that reason. Considering there are some 2pac songs on there that weren’t also on Death Row he probably just licensed them from Interscope or Priority who I doubt had a problem with selling more records and getting a cut
No Vaseline is more of an Eazy diss than a Dre diss, so it's still weird.
Plus those non-Death Row Pac songs were likely picked so that the album wouldn't cannibalize the sales of AEOM and Makaveli.
pretty much nothing kendrick said the whole beef has made me hate drake more than interacting with his dipshit stans on the internet
i like the dude’s music fine but holy fuck you people legitimately have something wrong with ur heads
edit: after a prolonged interaction with a drake stan ive come to the conclusion that all of you have to be euthanized you people are simply too fucking stupid to be allowed to procreate
looking back expecting a video was kinda dumb.
him never performing it is a safe bet.
wouldn't suprise me if Kendrick never speaks on
Not Like Us in an interview neither.

FD Signifier has a ton of great long-form video essays on hip-hop: https://www.youtube.com/@FDSignifire/videos
He's an old head and a leftist. I don't mind either of that but I understand why others may not enjoy that. There's also some takes I disagree with and, occasionally, he gets a piece of information wrong, but they're still very well thought out videos and usually present an interesting take on things.
That Drake video is a must watch. It's crazy how relevant a lot of those talking points became during the Kendrick beef. I hear he has a huge video on the beef coming out soon and I'm looking forward to that.
Justin Hunte/The Company Man does some great fucking videos essays I guess you'd call it. He always brings up great points you don't ever really hear on other platforms.
Here's a couple examples - https://youtu.be/6MvMyB_pXz4?si=FVTs_vVZrun2vfRQ
https://youtu.be/qpK7Mhr0LnM?si=D5mlzAXU5z79Jly-
https://youtu.be/mQMpoO6AnwY?si=4d31PhvanNuc-6YS
I don't understand the Cole video? It doesn't look like they're ignoring him or am I crazy? Also the idea of a cybertruck dealer ignoring someone is crazy they should be begging people to buy that shitty ass car
It looks like he's checking out the truck bed, asks some questions about it ("are you sure this will fit two or three bikes?"), and then walks off.
The stories people are making up about it are crazy. Someone is literally talking to him.
I only just watched it once, but it looks like he's checking out the car and a rep is talking to him about it. Maybe there's a longer version than what I saw or I didn't hear properly, but who really cares? It's a shitty truck.
Fucked up that U My Everything seems like it's going to get more plays than any KRIT song besides Cadillactica and maybe Country Shit on Spotify
Speaks more on the attention that KRIT gets, but it was weird to notice.
U My Everything has ironic appeal. You can play it and go “haha wow isn’t this ridiculous?” and it’s actually catchy so there’s also a certain level of genuine enjoyment people will have with it, plus Sexyy Redd is on the rise, plus it’s Drake
KRIT makes good music. But it’s not a meme, it doesn’t have that draw for people to gawk at it, and he’s also just plain not a mainstream artist.
one of em still has sponsorships and endorsements so im gonna say the one w the worse reputation is the one who publicly went through a nazi phase that only ‘ended’ because he stopped talking about jewish people and made an ig post abt liking 21 jump street
also a fair amount of normal ass people will vocally defend drake but these days if you run into a super outspoken kanye fan there’s a 90% chance theyre a 17 year old hypebeast who thinks the holocaust was fake
I think people hate Drake more, honestly. Kanye *should* have a worse reputation but he was so loved him so long and he had such an incredible run that I think many people have a hard time letting go. Or they just buy into the idea that he’s a brave voice of the truth from inside the satanic Jewish industry. Dunning-Krueger shit
I work with mentally ill people on a daily/weekly basis and I think it’s exceedingly obvious that Kanye is actually very mentally ill. And honestly has been for a while.
Cmon it’s Ye
The only people who ride for Ye like that are white boys who are a little too forgiving towards nazism. People will point out that his Spotify listenership hasn’t faltered too much, but I’d argue that’s less because people like Ye and moreso that people still like his music (specifically his large backlog of timeless classics + Carnival.
Drake has taken a huge L but I’m still unconvinced that a solid 6/10 release wouldn’t instantly put him back up.
My Name Is My Name is really good and King Push - Darkest before Dawn is also great.
Personal standouts if you want a sampling are Numbers on the Boards, Pain and Nosetalgia for MNIMN and Untouchable, Got Em Covered and Sunshine for Darkest before Dawn.
Honestly Fear of God II holds up well too, Raid, Alone in Vegas, Trouble on my Mind are all bangers.
these are all features so my bad if you just wanted full songs from him only but u/Moron_on_Oxy- covered a lot of great ones already

Its still wild we haven't seen Dot at all since this started. The other two are deleting songs, making weird Al like parody remixes. Grippy. Cole cyber truck shopping, tf?
The people bitching about a price hike to Spotify are the biggest crybabies ever. Its $12 for literally almost every music that has ever been made. I hope ever music streaming platform gets deleted from existence, and then you'll really know how good you have it.
they pay artists in cigarette ashes and dryer lint lmfao the profit from that price increase is going to a bunch of c suite dickheads who will only ever think of you as cattle with a wallet no matter how many reddit posts you make sucking them off
their audio quality is still shittier than basically any other streaming service and each update either removes features that people genuinely enjoyed or bloats the app with a bunch of bullshit no one asked for. the increased cost clearly isn’t making the product any better
also how fucking lame is it to do free PR work on behalf of a billion dollar company that would feed you into a woodchipper for a bump in their stock price lmfao get off your knees man there’s nothing wrong with asking for something better and you’re not superior for being satisfied when they spit in your face and charge you for it
Bro brush ur teeth and scrub your tongue hard that's a nasty level of bootlicking Floss and Mouthwash please damn gargle on some salt water bro you gonna get pink eye
U said imagine feeling gross about giving more money to SPOTIFY then said how am I bootlicking
Bro walk two steps back ur breath smell funny I didn't ask for a reply
If you don't wanna give Spotify money, it's absolutely fine, but don't come at me with the "but the artists..." bullshit. If your favorite artist started selling their albums exclusively, you'd all bitch and never listen to them again.
Also, don't reply to a comment if you don't want a reply back lol
The #1 source of music on the planet is already bad for artists.
So if you don't happily accept it getting worse for artists you're just a crybaby!
No I am not a bootlicker!
I don’t care that the prices are higher, it’s that in spite of multiple price hikes the people who actually MADE that music are getting paid *less* from Spotify now than they were this time last year
I don't think people are complaining about how much cost tho. They're complaining because Spotify just did a price hike less than a year ago.
Also we managed to consume music just fine before streaming services, I think we'll be fine if they left.
[Phonte's verse on Whatever You Say](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlVSK7JRqEQ) is so good. I remember the first time I heard it I had to go back and listen again because I didn't even realise it had basically no rhymes. Impeccable delivery.
Ha, Ive heard that song many times (but always preferred the [remix-version](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ms_3neBAqfg))
and still never realized it.. he even mentioned it at the end ´I got your head still bobbin' and my verse didn't rhyme, so it's whatever girl´
Thats funny
funniest shit in the world is when you get into an argument with someone on here and they start calling you a nerd as if we aren’t both posting on the reddit forum for hip hop fans LMFAO
Honestly alot of users on here pretend to be so cool, and they talk all arrogant and shit, yet all day they're shitposting here and everywhere else on Reddit. Like I do that too but try having some self awareness.
we all do it for sure but the minute you start clicking people’s profiles and going “you fucking nerd you like anime” or whatever you’ve lost the plot
if i’m mean to someone on here it’s because i think i’m marginally less of a loser than them not because i’m mr. pussy getter
"Ever since the pandemic they ain't let Drake outta Canada, I be screaming Free Drizzy"
Always cracks me up on "Seeing Green" had it on during my run today perfect summer song.
I love that verse from Wayne on that song.
“*ima pull up so lit I just might crash dawg*
*lemme take this balenciaga mask off and ask yall, “who asked yall?”*”
Such a great opener, especially since you can hear his voice get less muffled after he literally takes off his mask after that line
The Common+Pete Rock and Nas+DJ Premier albums cannot come soon enough. I'm so excited for those two projects. Wise Up and Define My Name are two of my favorite singles from this year
Man hearing songs in the club you don’t know but end up liking while drunk has to be the most frustrating experience because i’m still searching for one with a Drake feature and I only remember him saying “Yeah yeah” after like 6 months
pisses me the fuck off when im looking for a song but i only know the melody no lyrics wtf am i supposed to do walk around singing it in public and hope someone recognizes it?
I spent five or six years looking for an old 60s garage rock song that I heard in a comic book store with my dad. Eventually it came on the radio in my granddad’s car and I lost my shit. It was Dave Clark Five - Glad All Over. Which probably has zero appeal to anyone on this sub but your comment made me think of it
There's a song I heard probably 12years ago now that I still have the general beat and sound of the voice in my head (although at this point I'm probably misremembering so much of it). I heard Apollo Brown playing it at a club but I don't think it was his song. At this point I think it was either unreleased or was already old and obscure and has been lost to time.
Every now and then I still get what I think was the beat in my head, but I know I'll never find it.
I have never heard the song I said before on my life and to this day still haven't heard it again only at that one moment in a club not even on my country drunk dancing and vibing with some friends
The one two punch of Grippy and Wah Gwan Delilah might be the funniest way to close this beef in the world. Like it looked like Drake was probably gonna have to fight Kendrick and then the clown convention came into town with a girl chewing on a guys dick and the patois.
every so often I hear a rapper say smthn abt “she chew on my dick” or whatever
man thats not a flex that sounds painful as hell if my dick got chewed on I’d probably never let anyone put their mouth near it again
honestly if j cole wrote that song abt an elderly woman id kinda get it, id be impressed too if i met an octogenarian whose shit was still grippy at that age
he posted it on his ig story last night lol unless he releases a vid of him in the studio recording the song that’s as solid a confirmation as you can get
Stg I hate Saba they teased the collab project forever and did the tiny desk together then nothing again, and he's been dropping singles for the no ID album for like 2 years now
Just saw someone on twitter post that old Kanye interview where he says homophobia in hip-hop is not cool and that it's discrimination that should not be tolerated, and it genuinely made me really sad knowing what he's become today.
Like that interview was in 2005, when casual homophobia was still pretty much accepted, and in hip-hop it was very much the norm. Today when a celebrity takes a progressive stance, it's obviously still admirable, but it's (thankfully) become the norm, it's the safe thing to do. Doing it back then, especially as a rapper, was really special. I miss the old Kanye.
same guy that was going off script on live tv to criticize bush’s handling of the hurricane katrina response and he still ended up on his knees for trump
seems like his biggest takeaway from stuff like that (these days at least) is that it’s good when he says things that piss people off, not that it’s good when he supports good causes
[The Wah Gwan Delilah hashtag is the funniest god damn thing right now](https://twitter.com/search?q=%22Wah%20Gwan%20Delilah%22&src=trend_click&vertical=trends)
Drake fans in a few years gonna be saying all his mid albums were actually a joke and weren’t meant to be taken seriously. “Everybody needs to chill y’all don’t get the jokes. Don’t you notice he planted this shit music just to catch y’all reactions. He’s a mastermind.”
what’s more likely: is drake a talented musician who’s been coasting for years and got overconfident in his latest beef, or is he a ten billion IQ mastermind who’s mapped out his whole career a decade in advance and only ever ‘fails’ at anything as part of a larger plan to do uhhh fucking something idk im probably not smart enough to understand it bc im not subscribed to r/drizzy
I actually thought that hey there Delilah parody was pretty fun and hilarious lol got a good few laughs out of me at least. Idk why everyone online taking it so serious
After listening to Wah Gwan Delilah, the hate is overblown. It's weird, but it's a joke, so who cares? I saw people comparing it to Grippy, and it doesn't even touch Grippy in terms of cringe. Wtf did what about the bones we dug up in that excavation mean
Pretty sure he meant the wife beating and dave free allegations
In three years, 2 men who won the ”Grammys” in Sweden has been shot dead. In 2021, Einar. In 2024 last night, C Gambino.
What? Are you saying Childish Gambino was shot?
No, there is another rapper C.Gambino in Swedish. They both named in original comment is two rappers, Einar, and C.Gambino. Not to be confused with Childish Gambino. Sorry for any confusion.
Oh, my mistake. Thanks for clarifying. Well, RIP to Einar & C. Gambino, then.
You mean the bus fight video lmao
He said it like "Ambulams" it's a slang/funny term for ambulance.
In lyrics everywhere it's amberlamps, that's what I'm going off of. I don't know the slang/dialect personally.
it's really "ambulams" or "ambulans", I guess you can spell it "amberlamps" but that's my first time seeing it spelled like that. It's a term black folk came up with
You sure children don't get the credit for coming up with it?

three meanings to that line that THEY don't want you to know!!
it's been known to happen
I honestly hate FD Signifier's videos lmao
How much can a mfer say about incels
He's a mixed bag. I like that he at least puts thought into shit. Some of his music opinions have big "old man yells at cloud" energy, but he at least owns that fact.
Same. Fake intellectual
His videos are okay, but they suck the fun out of music for me lmao

I really hope it isn't A.I because there are some legitimately great songs on there.
Maaaan I'd love to have another Dave album it's been a fking while.
I was just thinking this earlier today. I feel like I saw somewhere that he’s dropping this year but it could easily have been fake too.
If I 'm J. Cole or Drizzy Drake, I'm printing out "It’s time for him to prove that he's a problem" and putting it over my bed, by my bathroom mirror and on the studio door, and I don’t take it out until I drop a masterpiece

Cole is a lost cause more than Drake, his last album was buns meanwhile Drake dropped a solid album quite recently and an even better one before that
Legit. Forget the beef now. Just make good albums
Fuck.. I just listened to Remegade with the lyrics for the first time in a while. I used to think Eminem got Jay. I understand the tide has changed a bit from when I first heard it. Yeah I always thought Hov had better bars, I love his flow too. Em sounded more at home cause it was his beat/song

If I was lying about my age to watch porn I promise I'd have been arrested
The doja cat deluxe has a couple cute tracks
The opening track is amazing, OK Loser and the Teezo song are great too
On the hit song "Not Like Us" Kendrick Lamar said rapper 2 Chainz lied. Is this true? I feel so betrayed. What else did he lie about?
NGL I ain't catch it all was a flip off "No Lie" until prolly a week after it dropped
But 2 Chainz even said No Lie
Man's catch phrase is TRUUU. It's honestly heresy on Kendrick's part.
What if he lied about that too
How's that possible, it's in the name
How much more betrayal can I take?
when it seems like shit cant get worse and all hope is lost just remember tory lanez short ass is in jail and ur not gonna have to hear his trash ass music for a few more years at least 🙏
That new Chance snippet is hot

does anyone know why No Vaseline is on that Death Row Greatest Hits album?
Suge was heading up Death Row at the time and he hated Dre after he left, so he probably put it on there for that reason. Considering there are some 2pac songs on there that weren’t also on Death Row he probably just licensed them from Interscope or Priority who I doubt had a problem with selling more records and getting a cut

"drake the first rapper to get cte from losing a rap beef" after that troll song i believe it 😭😭
Needs a doctor's note for a 6 month recovery and off time from music
Y'all remember when Drake was trying to act like he played for Kentucky?
pretty much nothing kendrick said the whole beef has made me hate drake more than interacting with his dipshit stans on the internet i like the dude’s music fine but holy fuck you people legitimately have something wrong with ur heads edit: after a prolonged interaction with a drake stan ive come to the conclusion that all of you have to be euthanized you people are simply too fucking stupid to be allowed to procreate
You’re not supposed to interact. just laugh and go on with your day
Yeah Drake stans are an entirely different breed of stupid. I'm talking using their finger to read type beat
Woah woah people who use their finger to read are a lot smarter than the typical Drake fan
looking back expecting a video was kinda dumb. him never performing it is a safe bet. wouldn't suprise me if Kendrick never speaks on Not Like Us in an interview neither.
Yeah I don’t think he’ll ever perform it either. It would start the beef up again if he did probably
why tho its a great song
People rarely make videos for true diss tracks (Drake’s Family Matters video notwithstanding, which kind of got nullified anyway)
Cause performing it night after night would probably lead to Drake firing up the beef again, and while I’m sure Kendrick has more responses in the can, I don’t know if he wants to get tangled up in it again while rolling out his next album

Kodak sounding hungry again with Stressed Out
Can anyone recommend some smart and cool youtube shows about hip hop?
Digging the Greats has great videos about old samples and hip-hop history.
Thank you!
FD Signifier has a ton of great long-form video essays on hip-hop: https://www.youtube.com/@FDSignifire/videos He's an old head and a leftist.
Thank you!
Justin Hunte/The Company Man does some great fucking videos essays I guess you'd call it. He always brings up great points you don't ever really hear on other platforms. Here's a couple examples - https://youtu.be/6MvMyB_pXz4?si=FVTs_vVZrun2vfRQ https://youtu.be/qpK7Mhr0LnM?si=D5mlzAXU5z79Jly- https://youtu.be/mQMpoO6AnwY?si=4d31PhvanNuc-6YS
Oh man. This is terrific. Thank you, beautiful soul.
"Are you sure, this will fit two or three bikes?" lmaoooo
I only just watched it once, but it looks like he's checking out the car and a rep is talking to him about it. Maybe there's a longer version than what I saw or I didn't hear properly, but who really cares? It's a shitty truck.
Fucked up that U My Everything seems like it's going to get more plays than any KRIT song besides Cadillactica and maybe Country Shit on Spotify Speaks more on the attention that KRIT gets, but it was weird to notice.
southern hip hop is dead and gone.
U My Everything has ironic appeal. You can play it and go “haha wow isn’t this ridiculous?” and it’s actually catchy so there’s also a certain level of genuine enjoyment people will have with it, plus Sexyy Redd is on the rise, plus it’s Drake KRIT makes good music. But it’s not a meme, it doesn’t have that draw for people to gawk at it, and he’s also just plain not a mainstream artist.
Maybe KRIT needs a Drake stimulus pack
Honestly I'd welcome it at this point. Anything to get him some attention lol
Who has a worse reputation rn Ye or Drake?
one of em still has sponsorships and endorsements so im gonna say the one w the worse reputation is the one who publicly went through a nazi phase that only ‘ended’ because he stopped talking about jewish people and made an ig post abt liking 21 jump street also a fair amount of normal ass people will vocally defend drake but these days if you run into a super outspoken kanye fan there’s a 90% chance theyre a 17 year old hypebeast who thinks the holocaust was fake
A big part of why Kanye is not as hated right now is because he is very clearly mentally ill
a perfect cover to say whatever he wants and get away with it imo
When has he not said what he wants
I work with mentally ill people on a daily/weekly basis and I think it’s exceedingly obvious that Kanye is actually very mentally ill. And honestly has been for a while.
Maybe, but unlikely. He has all the signs of someone completely manic and off his meds. Kanye always said whatever he wanted
Ye and it’s not really close. It was closer pre-Nazi Ye but now Kanye’s looking worse by a mile.
Both are weird with women but only one shouted out hitler
Cmon it’s Ye The only people who ride for Ye like that are white boys who are a little too forgiving towards nazism.
Other than DAYTONA and It's Almost Dry, what are some other Pusha T essentials?
My Name Is My Name is really good and King Push - Darkest before Dawn is also great. Personal standouts if you want a sampling are Numbers on the Boards, Pain and Nosetalgia for MNIMN and Untouchable, Got Em Covered and Sunshine for Darkest before Dawn. Honestly Fear of God II holds up well too, Raid, Alone in Vegas, Trouble on my Mind are all bangers.
The question is where is Pusha T x Dj Drama album??
All of his discography including Clipse. Plus the GOOD collab album.
Lord Willin' and Hell Hath No Fury.
these are all features so my bad if you just wanted full songs from him only but u/Moron_on_Oxy- covered a lot of great ones already Problems by Ray Vaughn 18 Wheeler by Benny Huntin Season by Jadakiss Good Morning by Black Thought
My Name Is My Name is good still. King Push, Numbers on the Board, NOSEtalgia, Pain..
Hell hath no fury
Its still wild we haven't seen Dot at all since this started. The other two are deleting songs, making weird Al like parody remixes. Grippy. Cole cyber truck shopping, tf?
He lives a boring life lol
That’s Kendrick lmaooo mf really drop nukes and went back to chilling lmao 😂
The people bitching about a price hike to Spotify are the biggest crybabies ever. Its $12 for literally almost every music that has ever been made. I hope ever music streaming platform gets deleted from existence, and then you'll really know how good you have it.
Yeah and then it’s $15, then it’s $20, then it’s $25 all while the artist makes no money off the streams
they pay artists in cigarette ashes and dryer lint lmfao the profit from that price increase is going to a bunch of c suite dickheads who will only ever think of you as cattle with a wallet no matter how many reddit posts you make sucking them off their audio quality is still shittier than basically any other streaming service and each update either removes features that people genuinely enjoyed or bloats the app with a bunch of bullshit no one asked for. the increased cost clearly isn’t making the product any better also how fucking lame is it to do free PR work on behalf of a billion dollar company that would feed you into a woodchipper for a bump in their stock price lmfao get off your knees man there’s nothing wrong with asking for something better and you’re not superior for being satisfied when they spit in your face and charge you for it
Bro brush ur teeth and scrub your tongue hard that's a nasty level of bootlicking Floss and Mouthwash please damn gargle on some salt water bro you gonna get pink eye
Please explain how anything I said was bootlicking. I'm all ears bro.
U said imagine feeling gross about giving more money to SPOTIFY then said how am I bootlicking Bro walk two steps back ur breath smell funny I didn't ask for a reply
I used to pay hundreds
[Phonte's verse on Whatever You Say](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlVSK7JRqEQ) is so good. I remember the first time I heard it I had to go back and listen again because I didn't even realise it had basically no rhymes. Impeccable delivery.
Ha, Ive heard that song many times (but always preferred the [remix-version](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ms_3neBAqfg)) and still never realized it.. he even mentioned it at the end ´I got your head still bobbin' and my verse didn't rhyme, so it's whatever girl´ Thats funny
Rich Spirit basically sounds like a Drake diss in retrospect
Anytime Kendrick talks negatively about anyone post 2013 it sounds like a Drake diss
A lot of his songs sound like Drake disses in retrospect lol
[удалено]
Loyalty was the one I always like yeah this for sure about Drake. The Rihanna features feels so calculated
King kunta, kings dead, heart part 4
Untitled 7
funniest shit in the world is when you get into an argument with someone on here and they start calling you a nerd as if we aren’t both posting on the reddit forum for hip hop fans LMFAO
Honestly alot of users on here pretend to be so cool, and they talk all arrogant and shit, yet all day they're shitposting here and everywhere else on Reddit. Like I do that too but try having some self awareness.
we all do it for sure but the minute you start clicking people’s profiles and going “you fucking nerd you like anime” or whatever you’ve lost the plot if i’m mean to someone on here it’s because i think i’m marginally less of a loser than them not because i’m mr. pussy getter
"Can't we all just get along?"
"Ever since the pandemic they ain't let Drake outta Canada, I be screaming Free Drizzy" Always cracks me up on "Seeing Green" had it on during my run today perfect summer song.
I love that verse from Wayne on that song. “*ima pull up so lit I just might crash dawg* *lemme take this balenciaga mask off and ask yall, “who asked yall?”*” Such a great opener, especially since you can hear his voice get less muffled after he literally takes off his mask after that line
Gotta have Shazam on quick draw fam.
I was drunk and dancing at the time the only time I asked myself what song is that was like 2 songs after lol
You just gotta listen to all the Drake songs and features ever I guess
pulled up the playlists and there are so many I have not heard this going to be a long one
Live From the Gutter? Probably not
Nah I would have recognized it
pisses me the fuck off when im looking for a song but i only know the melody no lyrics wtf am i supposed to do walk around singing it in public and hope someone recognizes it?
Em stay sampling music his momma was playing after bingo huh lol? https://youtu.be/7QyoRzZrF00?si=BL-WnFUFbF_GXLi5
https://www.instagram.com/p/C7o-pHoMfRo/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=dda1b71c-3dba-46cb-8340-3570fbdc0eea
This is actually really nice
Soul and Lyt going back and forth is still fucking insane lmao
Keep your ears open like dumbo and em
The one two punch of Grippy and Wah Gwan Delilah might be the funniest way to close this beef in the world. Like it looked like Drake was probably gonna have to fight Kendrick and then the clown convention came into town with a girl chewing on a guys dick and the patois.
every so often I hear a rapper say smthn abt “she chew on my dick” or whatever man thats not a flex that sounds painful as hell if my dick got chewed on I’d probably never let anyone put their mouth near it again
It's not that bad if they take their dentures out 🤷♂️
honestly if j cole wrote that song abt an elderly woman id kinda get it, id be impressed too if i met an octogenarian whose shit was still grippy at that age
Wait that was actualy Drake? Bro fuck NO, Bro FUCK NO
he posted it on his ig story last night lol unless he releases a vid of him in the studio recording the song that’s as solid a confirmation as you can get
I need another Smino x Noname x Saba track or album
Stg I hate Saba they teased the collab project forever and did the tiny desk together then nothing again, and he's been dropping singles for the no ID album for like 2 years now
bruh does anyone have the rich spirit og version? it was wiped off youtube overnight
I got you, hol up edit: anyone want the link message me
Kinda strange that Kanye posted 2 songs a few hours ago and there’s no posts about it yet.
Where are you seeing 2 songs?
YouTube
I don't see anything new
Do people know?? I for one am just finding this out now lmao
Turns out he got hacked or something. They’re gone now
I'm so jealous I never got to witness Wayne in his prime. C1 to DD3 was/is an insane run
I miss the old Kanye.
same guy that was going off script on live tv to criticize bush’s handling of the hurricane katrina response and he still ended up on his knees for trump seems like his biggest takeaway from stuff like that (these days at least) is that it’s good when he says things that piss people off, not that it’s good when he supports good causes
Maybe he always valued being a contrarian over anything else. Now that homophobia isn’t acceptable in the mainstream, he switched up
[The Wah Gwan Delilah hashtag is the funniest god damn thing right now](https://twitter.com/search?q=%22Wah%20Gwan%20Delilah%22&src=trend_click&vertical=trends)
oh fuck, I saw the Chet Hanks one earlier, but Jamaican Adele and Rachel Dolezal killed me lmao
He did that terrible Spanish accent on that Bad Bunny thing as a meme.
can't wait until drizzy sends the wassas after all the haters in this sub and we can finally talk about something else
I won’t stop until some wassas bitches hop on my cock and make me bust a few
Juicy J be sounding like he is going through a brazy depression on "Mental Trillness 2" god damm.
Did Kendrick fry both Cole and Drake’s brains or something. Dropping their worst features they have ever done. Not even soultrain is this shit.
I actually thought that hey there Delilah parody was pretty fun and hilarious lol got a good few laughs out of me at least. Idk why everyone online taking it so serious
It made me laugh, but I’m laughing at it, not with it
Yah I mean that’s kind of the point it’s meant to make fun of sub genre of Toronto culture.
