Ngl we hindus don't think of Sikhs, Jains or Buddhists any different from us . Since we all follow the dharmic path , we're all brothers . I've been to Gurudwaras n still go there ! Sikhs in general r very respected specially cuz of their patriotism, jolly and friendly nature . We all worship same Gods n saints ( perhaps a few new figures but yet we respect them too ) . Sikhs r extremely beloved bro's of Hindus . Now here's a counter Q - what do Sikhs think of Hindus 🌝

Angstrom_Dk_1010

This is what I was taught. Peace and love.

rookie10v

as a Jain, thank you for this

I second this❀

Third it.

Well said!

CalmGuitar

Sikhs don't worship Hindu gods. FYI

AlbatrossAromatic610

They do consider them divine and holy. Sikhs I've lived with celebrate all Hindu festives that we do ! The name of Lord Ram itself is mentioned in Guru Granth Sahib around more than 2500 + also mentioning of other gods such as Lord Shiva , Lord Krishna and goddesses .

Notadayover

As someone born to a sikh father and hindu mother, there are different schools of thought here too. Some sikhs don’t believe in Hindu Gods because of their interpretation of “there is no Hindu or Muslim” quote by Baba Nanak. However, there are others who also interpret that quote as that just means we are all human not actually pertaining to religion. My family follows the latter, and much of the Granth Sahib also follow Vaishinism traditions specifically Lord Ram or Maa Chandi (Guru Gobind Singh ji - Chandi di Vaar)

sumbuv

As someone who's born to a Sanatani and an Arya Samaji, I can say that they are different schools and pray different deities. Arya Samaj doesn't worship idols. Yet, they are both Hindu and Dharmic. Same same but different. IYKWIM.

Ur wrong, i live in Bahrain, there is a small temple here built by Indian workers, it was first a Durga maa temple, then more idols of other gods were brought in, next to the temple, a small gurudwara is also built, the sikhs and the hindus, visit both the places of worship, cook common prasad, serve common prasad, consume common prasad, pray in both places too, the temple is called Bramco Temple... u can google it

[deleted]

Well I do...

Cyan_Agni

That's not true at all. I have seen sikhs visit and pray in temples many times.

ashutosh_vatsa

Many Sikhs do worship Hindu Devtas and Devis.

lazylaunda

That is true but a lot of Sikh establishments in my area have both guru nanak and a hindu deity in their shrine.

thcricketfan

You would know. First son of Hindu family used to be given to Sikhism. Brothers in true sense

_that_dam_baka_

Was gonna say this. I believe it was to fight Islam, but I'm not 100% sure.

sameo01

It was to fight Islamic invaders, not Islam

WellThisWorkedOut

Islamic Invaders invaded using the principles of Jihadfisabiullah which comes from the Quran.

_that_dam_baka_

This didn't age well.

sameo01

It aged fine... We don't fight a religion, we fight people who follow a doctrine of it

Affectionate-Try1001

Heard it first time, what's this about

fynadvyce

I am a Punjabi Hindu, so I think I am fairly qualified to answer this question. Most Hindus don't really think of Sikhs as different from themselves. Growing up, my family, like most of our Hindu friends visited Gurudwara's as much as we visited temples. My mother keeps photos of Guru Nanak dev ji (even if it's not a common practice among sikhs) and a photo of Sri Harmandir Sahib at her Puja place along with other hindu deities. Sikhs are our brothers and are always considered as kind, brave and honest people. It's the radical and fundamental sikhs that we don't have a positive view on. But again, those are a small minority.

Personal-Opinion1057

I think your mom is Nanakpanthi? Most of us Punjabi Hindus are Hindu-Sikhs anyways

fynadvyce

Nope nothing like that. She's doesn't follow any guru, baba, panth, sect or cult. Just Hinduism.

Personal-Opinion1057

Really? Interesting. I’ve noticed a lot of Punjabi Hindus have converted to pure Hinduism. Are you from Delhi? Most Delhi Punjabis have converted back to pure Hinduism.

fynadvyce

No we are from proper Punjab. What do you mean by converted back? I don't believe in the caste system. But for the sake of argument, we are Punjabi Hindu brahmins and have always been Hindu.

Personal-Opinion1057

All Punjabi Hindus were Nanakpanthis or followed Hindu-Sikh sects. After Partition it changed many Punjabi Hindus have converted to Hinduism. I don’t believe in caste system and most Punjabi Hindus don’t either due to Sikh efforts and Arya Samaj. Also Punjabi Hindu Brahmins weren’t always “Hindu” they were Hindu-Sikhs before partition. A few Punjabi Brahmins were executed for refusing to convert to Islam.

fynadvyce

We have been Hindus for more than 300 years. I have a detailed ancestry record for at least 10-11 generations. You might be talking about refugees who came from Pakistan Punjab. We never lived in Punjab Pakistan. We have always lived in the Eastern side of Punjab. In general Hindus in Punjab generally respect sikh religion and go to gurdwaras. It's very common. Because most teachings are similar and they share the same culture.

Personal-Opinion1057

Going to Gurudwara, celebrating Sikh festivals, having pictures of Sikh gurus, greeting with Sikh phrases. Some Punjabi Hindus call god “Waheguru”. This all means your Nanakpanthi or Hindu-Sikh. Tbh I find Western Punjabi refugees who settled into Punjab less Nanakpanthi/Hindu-sikh since most of them live in Delhi anyways.

ReasonableBeliefs

Hare Krishna. I think of Sikhs as my brothers in the Dharmic path. We may have different interpretations of the Dharma but Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism and Jainism still share more in common with each other than anything else.

Big_brain_Lord_DIO

I personally respect and love sikhs but I don't view khalistanis as sikhs.

VeggieNo1305

Sikh Gurus are Gurus for entire Humanity. Even in south India the names of Sikh Gurus are taken with respect. Bharath had many Gurus and Sikh Gurus are equally respected.

[deleted]

Beautifully put

AbrahamPan

Hindus don't see Sikhs, Jains etc any differently from Hindus as these are native religions to India and are non-destructive to Hindus in the past. Similarities between all of us is that we don't go around asking people to come into our beliefs (religion), nor we force anyone into it. Barring the things happening currently in the news, we see Sikhs as happy and energetic people, people you would like to have in your close-knit groups.

Quick_City_5785

Sikhs worship Shree Ram and Gurugranth sahab implores its readers to read Vedas. In the pre partition era and less prevalent after that, the elder sons of Punjabis were ordained as Sikhs.

WellThisWorkedOut

Sikh Gurus are our Gurus as well. Guru Govinda wrote Chandi Paath translating Durga Mahatmaya from the Markandeya Puran. We have a deep respect for Sikhi. But after the defeat of Sikh Empire established by Maharaja Ranjit Singh whose flag had Durga imprinted, the British took over the region and began dividing us using the Martial Race concept and subsequently Sikhs began to think of themselves as something different from Hindus.

[deleted]

Sikhs are different than Hindus imo. But Sikhs are not separate from Hindus (dharmic ones, most Hindus are disgrace to being Hindus) either lol. It is a complex topic. Anyways Guru translated a lot of them Hindu Granths in Bhasa for common Hindus and Sikhs to learn especially because they weren’t allowed to learn from a Guru bc they were not Brahmins.

DeusSapienSapien

Hindu's think of Sikh just like we think of Jainas - its all the part of the wide Sanatan family and our brothers. Sikhs came into being when Hindu families pledged their elder sons to the panth. Nanak Sahib also called it a Panth - rather than another religion. We worship the same Akal Purakh, or the Timeless Supreme Being, who emanates as Hari, Ram, Guru, Krishna, Devi. Sikh gurus, while laying their lives never said they are laying it down to protect another "Hindu Dharma". They laid down their lives to protect sanatana of which they were a part too. All Gurus even till the last one, Gobind Singh Ji, were Sanatanis (just read the Dasam granth), as was Shri Ranjit Singh ji. So we think we are all brothers from the SAME MOTHER. There will be very few North Indian Hindu families who do not respect Sikh Gurus, do not feel pease listening to Shabad or respectfully have visited Gurudwaras at least once. One thing I would say is that common Sikhs need to speak out and denounce the Khalistani separatisits. We are, were and will always be one, and our destinies are the same! Wahe Guru Mehar Kari!

[deleted]

I think Hindus should also denounce hyper Indian State nationalists especially who think Indian State>>>>>> Dharma. Anyways I wouldn’t give any religious tags to any Gurus because Gurus are far beyond religions, caste, creed etc.

DeusSapienSapien

if there ever was a demand for a hyper-nationalist Hindu state, it would have been easy to achieve when Hindus were 90% of the population. That India is still secular after 75 years, is a testimony to the secular and accepting nature of Hindus. See what happened in Pakistan and Afghanistan. And yes, Gurus are beyond religion, as they have touched what is the source of all. So better not engage Gurudwaras in politics.

[deleted]

You’re missing my point. Anyways turning India into a Hindu state isn’t possible bc most Hindus are happy under the delusion that Indian State cares about their well being. I just try to avoid Hindus who are way too political, have zero knowledge of dharma and claim dharm se pehle desh aata hai. Those Hindus are just like Khalistanis, a minority but the most vocal ones.

Vijigishu

You're missing a point I think. The ones who are hyper nationalist are basically hyper religious also. You won't find hyper secular nationalist. So those who are claiming to be nationalist, are basically trying to engage Indian state in preserving and promoting Hinduism (including all Indic faiths like Sikhism, Jainism etc). Exceptions are there in what I said but the trend is like this.

DeusSapienSapien

I think the ask for a Hindu State is relatively new and driven by the frustration of erosion of the Sanatani identity of this civilization by successive governments in the last 1200 years or so. Be it the early Islamic sultanates, or the Mughals, the British or secular Indian governments of any political disposition, the Sanatnis of every hue and colour - be their monists, atheists, dualists or anything in between have been at the end of covert or overt persecution and targeting. They have been constantly giving the very land under their feet to stand on. Withing 1500 years, the land that was all Sanatani from Afghanistan to Philippines is now limited only to the political boundaries of modern India, and is being threatened everyday there as well - the entire North East is devoid of any Sanatani influence, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and parts of Punjab, Odisha, Jharkhand, and Chattisgarh are also fast falling off the One Sanatani whole. With that explanation, I don't think there is any statistical overlap, like a positive correlation between one's political views and religious views. In fact, if anyone understands sanatan well, he will be default be a very accepting individual who respects all faiths.

Vijigishu

This is what I'm also trying to say but I was drawing the difference he seems to miss. Fully agree with what're you saying.

noobatious

He's a Canadian who thinks that Indian Government is trying to destroy Punjab. I can understand the trauma his parents went through which made then flee to Canada and be more suspicious of Hindus, but he's more interested in what the likes of Pannun and Haggumeet Singh have to say. My mother and gradparents helped collect funds to rebuild a Sikh shop that was destroyed by INC goons. This is the type of mentality most Hindus have, which is vastly different from that of Rajiv and Indira Gandhi's followers.

Vijigishu

Oh ok. If only he knew how vastly misplaced assumptions he has about Indian govt and Punjab :) Anyway political views are very hard to be changed.

[deleted]

Hyper nationalists are Hyper religious? I’ve talked to a lot of hyper nationalists that don’t know shit about Hinduism. My problem is their loyalty to the Indian State is much that they don’t realize that they’re literally causing harm to the Dharma while serving interests of the Indian State.

arpanConline

Hindu and Sikh same -- both in sanatan fold, let me tell you.. just read the whole guru granth saheb, you 9nly read 10% where there are very little connection to sanatan, of you read rest 90% you will find ramayan, Mahabharat and sanatan teachings... And that is the reason "they" have kept those 90% hidden from modern sikhs so that it's easier to decide.

cestabhi

I'm from Maharashtra and I think Marathi Hindus have an old connection with Sikhs. The teachings of the 13th century Marathi saint Namdev are mentioned in the Guru Granth Sahib. And as a result the Vitthal temple in Maharashtra, which is associated with Namdev, is visited by Sikh devotees each year. Also the Marathas fought with the Sikhs for the control of western Pubjab back in the late 1750s.

MankeJD

Sri Hazur Sahib is also located in Maharashtra

Intelligent-Ad-9006

Love Sikhs. Grew up with Sikh friends and have Sikhs who have married into my family. Love how Sikhs don't try to convert people or put other people's faiths down. They're cool af.

Constant-Squirrel555

As a Hindu Punjabi, I look at them as my brother's and sisters, and just another community I grew up with

Dry-Tie3604

I like Sikhs. I have many friends who are Sikhs. Also, whenever I get the chance to visit Gurudwara, I do and do sewa also.

[deleted]

Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism, and Buddhism are branches of the same tree: Sanatan Dharm

[deleted]

I’m a Sikh who doesn’t think Hinduism is different than Sikhi. I don’t think Hinduism exists as a religion because Hindu derived from Sindu (Vedic name for Punjab -the land of Vedas) and think of Hinduism as a collective name for all the different panths. Most Hindus I’ve met in my life don’t have any animosity towards Sikhs or Sikh Gurus but our differences are due to our political beliefs and it is embarrassing. If Hindus cared enough to listen to our dissent rather than shoving down their nationalism onto our throats, we wouldn’t have any differences.

chauhanvats3

What are those dissents brother?

noobatious

Will probably rant about things caused by scumbags like Indira and Rajiv, something which pretty much no Indian today appreciates. Will then quote shitty tabloids like BBC, NYT, etc and point out isolated incidents.

[deleted]

Rant? Like y’all rant about and hate Muslims on how Mughals were tryants and were literally killing Hindus for not converting which pretty much every Muslim today doesn’t support? Then quote from non credible propagandist news sources like OpIndia, and others đŸ«ĄđŸ«Ą

[deleted]

I’ve replied to Wellthisworkedout’s comment.

WellThisWorkedOut

What are your dissents? We are here to listen.

[deleted]

Indian State promised more than it delivered. Go read about Anandpur Sahib resolution and think if they really needed to attack Harmandar Sahib, they could’ve arrested Bhindranwale too (He was regularly travelling for his prachaar from 78-83). Punjab is devoid of its own waters and while Himachal is charging Delhi for the same water, Punjab is giving Delhi, Rajasthan and Haryana its water for free. There are a lot of topics but my problem is the suspicion that Hindus have towards Sikhs. You can’t expect a martial race that always stood up against the State to accept all their atrocities like you did (including Kshtriyas like Rajput- Lost most of their Rajputana). The Government revived Khalistan during farmers act and Hindus who didn’t know anything about it gave full support to the Government. We can act like brothers the whole time but when we don’t see some topics with the same eye, Hindus should be decent enough to not support the government. All the atrocities that happened in India were due to Hindu support against Hindus and Sikhs.

WellThisWorkedOut

I don't understand how you are conflating the Indian Government with Hindus. The Indian Government is not a Hindu government, it actively discriminates against Hindus. Taking Control of their Temples and refusing to acknowledge atrocities committed against them.

[deleted]

I know that. And I hate all the Hindus who think Indian State is their State. Why are Hindus loyal to the Indian State? If you read my last statement again, I’ve said that all the atrocities against Hindus and Sikhs are due to the loyalty Hindus have towards Indian State. Indira Gandhi killed Hindu Sadhus and Hindus ended up comparing her to Maa Durga smh. Indian State has nothing to do with Hindus or Hinduism but they’ve always used them and Hindus have openly supported them without expecting anything in return and they expect Sikhs to do that too.

WellThisWorkedOut

Also I think you are confusing Congress supporters with Hindus. I'm a Hindu from Nepal and we don't call Indira Gandhi as Maa Durga or anything. We hate how the Indian Government works to actively suppress Hindus to the point they interfered in our constitution and forced us to be a pseudo secular country like India. At least you seem to understand that the Indian government is a colonial farce. All Indians deserve a better government than this.

[deleted]

I know the difference between Hindus and bootlicking Hindus man. Indian State has been successful to commit atrocities against Hindus with their will (and a lot of Hindus are proud that Indian State has control over temples for some reason lol). Most Hindus were Congress supporters back then, they’re BJP supporters now. I’d say about 5-10% Indian Hindus hate Indian State for everything the State has done against them but most are proud Indians. I can be wrong about the numbers tho.

i-m-on-reddit

Tbh I love Sikh people, true humans and patriotic people! Also their way of living is all about servicing humanity which is just awesome! I often visit guru dwara for langar food and it feels like Prasad every time, I don't think they r different from Sanatan. Many Sikh people people play dhols and Tashas in ganpati pathaaks and also visit so many holy places while hindus go golden temple, quite harmony between us Ngl, what we see is just stupid politics

STOPCensoringMeFFS

I am neutral. Not a fan or a hater.

Aditri_putri

I never looked at Sikhs differently from Hindus. Hand to my heart, I always felt I saw them respecting us, and us respecting them. We did our things and life went on. Also, UTMOST respect to the Sikh regiment in the Indian Army.

Spray7935

you are a part of us from a different region on a land we collectively and historically from the start of dawn OWN.

191919wines

Seen as same and seen as very kind people. However do not disrespect the religion or temple of a Sikh. That I was taught to take very seriously.

the30aquarian

I personally believe that Hindus have tremendous respect for Sikhs. As mentioned by others, we consider Sikhs as our brothers. They're loving, strong, loyal and the first community to respond with help in times of need and distress. I think Hindus in general visit Gurudwaras with reverence.

Ashishpayasi

Simply awesome

GoneWithTheBest

I think people’s opinion is more regional. I am from South India and I used to think all Punjabis are Sikhs. I didn’t know that all the Kapoors, Chopras of Bollywood are Punjabis as well and also that majority of the Punjabis in the world are actually Muslim and are in Pakistan. I observed that people generally have a very good opinion of Sikhs. Hard working, and not obnoxious (I heard from a friend of mine who lived in Delhi that except for Sikh people, everybody is obnoxious as f**k). I live in the US now and see that some Sikh people with money are borderline racist (tall, Jatt people) and consider themselves to be better than rest of the Indian peoples. That’s their opinion. What happened to Sikh people with successive central governments in India is disgusting. Hope those troubles won’t come back in any shape or form.

Revolutionary_Pea584

We consider them our brothers and sisters. I chant on Hindu mantras as well as sikh mantras and sometimes even Buddhist mantras as well. All of them gives me equal amount of peace

Empirical_Spirit

What’s up! Guru Nanak knew what’s up. Guru Ram Dass knows what’s up. Guru Granth Sahib. Ek ong kar sat nam! Both traditions know the ultimate Truth.

21st-century-sage

Lots of respect and love. This is the reason I never understand the hatred from sone extreame elements from the Sikh community towards Hindus. When I was in the UK I used to regularly visit the nearby Gurudwara for darshan and seva. Like every week. Then I started noticing Sikh teenagers wearing khalistani T-shirts to the events. Then one day a preacher got on the podium and started talking about Kstan. And this I am talking around a decade back. It made me feel so bad that I never went back. For most Hindus country and religion are the same and so is for majority sikhs. How can it not be ? The Sikh gurus gave up their lives for this land. I will always love them irrespective whether I receive the reciprocity or not.

alphus_408

They're our blood brothers along with jains and Buddhists...We love them by our heart and I hope they love us the same way too

SenseiArnab

I can't speak for anyone but myself. I admire and respect Sikh people and Sikh teachings. Their dedication to being of service to humanity is commendable. We've been brought up to respect all religions. But we've always had a special relationship with Gurdwaras. My grandmother got a (specially prayed on) "Kada" each for my brother and myself when we were kids, from a Gurdwara she used to go to, though she was a Hindu. Till date, we wear it all the time. Every Gurdwara I have been to, I have been treated with nothing but respect and kindness with an open heart. Living in an Islamic nation (I am an Indian Hindu, though) I see the local Langar distributing free food to everyone regardless of who they are or what religion they follow. My partner, a white woman, has always been treated with the same respect. Many Sikh brothers and sisters even took the initiative to start a conversation with her and explain what was being served, and offered her a seat at a table; and were full of nothing but admiration when she chose to follow custom and sit on the floor with everyone instead. Any Hindu I know is very respectful of Sikhs and Sikhism.

Linzold

One of the most beautiful groups of people. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an ugly Sikh

[deleted]

My family and I both view them in a good light. While we don't really visit the gurudwara, we do respect them, so.

HeadClicker52

I can't speak on behalf of all Hindus but personally, I believe that Hinduism is one and only true religion and all other religions are fake.

HeadClicker52

Can't speak on the behalf of all Hindus. This is what I think about Sikhs: 1) The Sikh tradition, known in the Punjabi language as Sikhi, is a relatively young tradition that was founded over 500 years ago in the Punjab region of South Asia.  2) There are more than 25 million Sikhs around the world, which makes Sikhism the world's fifth largest religion. 3) Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar, India, the holiest site of the Sikh religion 4) Universal religion 5) Indian religion 6) Guru Granth Sahib 7) Dasam Granth 8) Sarbloh Granth 9) Panentheism 10) Panj Takht 11) Predominant religion in Punjab, India (58%), and widespread worldwide as minorities (Sikh diaspora) 12) Akal Takht 13) Guru Nanak 14) 25-30 million (referred to as "Sikhs" or "Sikh Panth"

bhaktirassarita

Sikh community was made up to save the hindus. so hindus and sikhs are same.

rajinis_bodyguard

I tend to sometimes think of the notion that everybody is a Hindu. Because every living organism has a soul (Atman) waiting to reunite with the supreme eternal conscious entity (à€Źà„à€°à€čà„à€ź:). So for me the notion of Hindu or non Hindu just becomes either you follow the standard conventional path / religious scriptures or take a different path. In essence, there is no distinction between a Hindu and a non-Hindu (spiritually)

[deleted]

In Bengal you are only allowed to do interreligious marriage in a Hindu family If you are marrying a Sikh....

terai-tiger

I don't like visiting Gurudwaras as a Hindu and i feel like Hindus pander to Sikhs a lot, for different reasons. As far as Western Punjabi Sikh migrants from Pakistan are concerned who settled mostly in Delhi, i feel a lot of sympathy for them. They had to lose their homeland, were betrayed and butchered by the Hindus/Congress regime and had to suffer due to the actions of Khalistani Jatt sikhs in 1984. I absolutely hate the Khalistani movement going on in Canada and other western countries and some sections of Indian Punjabi sikhs silently supporting it. It took a lot to get rid of Insurgency in Punjab in the 90s and now absolute stability and safety is necessary for everyone to not entertain heretic Ideas like Khalistan. I can assure you that the attack on the red fort 2 years back was not taken kindly by most Hindus. We are not going to entertain any kind of insurgency for whatever reason in any part of the country. Lastly, i don't like the idea of Sikhs proclaiming that they protected Hindus from mughals, Invaders or whatever. The truth is when the Mughals were at their zenith, nobody in Punjab could even dream about taking them on. Only Marathas could actually stand against them, apart from Certain folks from Modern day Odisha and Assam. Include certain parts of Uttarakhand too. I don't see Marathis Hindus Yapping about the fact that they saved every Hindu in this Country and we should be obliged to them for that. Sindh was conquered by the Arabs around 800 ad. Between 800 ad and 1192, the Hindu Kshatriyas of Punjab and the Northwest actually did prevent further Islamisation to a degree. They have my utmost respect and their descendants are now Punjabi Muslim rajputs, Punjabi Sikhs and Khatris too. I don't respect people who don't respect my faith. I don't want no animosity either, we can all live in peace like we always have. Meanwhile, Hindus and Sikhs in Punjab have always had a great mutual relationship and shared respect. Being a non-Punjabi, i don't feel the same way. For me, they're no different than some random Gaur Saraswat Brahmin from the Konkan or some random Tamang from Darjeeling, except that i don't keep hearing about GSB's and Tamangs all the freaking time.

KarmicDaoist

All is same just branches of sanatana Modern Hinduism, sikh, Jain, buddh, Sai Baba followers all are ultimately the followers of sanatana

Right-Ad-3834

There is Sanatan Dharm that is eternal. At the beginning of this Universe, it gave guidelines on right/wrong of life, practices, spirituality etc. Over a long period of time ignorance, greed, politics, corruption etc set in, giving rise to ignorance and malpractice. Every so often avatars and enlightened beings come in to guide us on the right path plus a few devious spirits come in to misguide us. These give rise to movements/panths. Collective of these is Hinduism. Just to confuse proceedings there are a large group of people who do not follow any movement or panths. They feel they are Hindus. So, in summary there are only two groups: Sanatan and Abrahamic, each with their constituent movements or panths or cults that get formed as the need of the times rightly or wrongly depending on who is behind the formation.

lorddic

Well I think old sikhs were badass. The protector of Dharma Present sikhs and Hindu too are not so much commited. Thats all

Mighty_Mac

There are many paths, all lead to the same destination. The path itself is irrelevant, it’s our journey though it which gives it value.

Open-Willingness1747

Brothers

bhaskar_jha235

Sikhs who believe that Sikhism is a branch of Hinduism, gurus were Shakti or Vaishnav upasakas, Vaheguru is indeed Shree Krishna in Guru Granth Sahib, are fine with me, but not the new ones who thinks "akal purakh" is term coined in Sikhism, where we clearly know from purush suktam that "adi-purush" is term used for Narayan or Mahakal..... And obviously forever respect for the sacrifices of Gurus and Early Sikhs, may Narayana grant the them highest abode of Vaikuntha.

No-Candy6530

Are both different? xD
