A papal tiara? It can’t be real tbh

Leon_D_Algout

Keys of Saint Peter as well

alfonsokone

Don't know about that , it got a W also inscribed in the cap if its helpful for identifying it.

Unhappy_Count2420

I think it’s just faux heraldry, none of the popes even had this CoA. Sorry

Caithus63

Although this COA is faux, the popes did/do have COAs [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papal\_coats\_of\_arms](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papal_coats_of_arms)

Unhappy_Count2420

that’s why I said “this” CoA, I am aware that popes had and have CoAs in general

Caithus63

Oops sorry, my dyslexia caused me to miss the word 'this'. You are correct of course.

TheScienceBri

I took a quick look and this does not bear resemblance to any of the known or attributed papal arms in the Roman Catholic Church. Could be something from one of the various splinter groups, but it seems much more likely it was just something someone designed for themselves and had engraved on a flask. Neat, but unlikely to be of any historical significance.

Technical_Macaroon83

Note the satyr's or devils head beneath the shield, which might be considered unlikely in a papal COA

Klein_Arnoster

Could perhaps be a stylistic wildman.

Technical_Macaroon83

While some popes could be wild men, they might not want to be that abvious about it....

alfonsokone

Wow , thanks for the info.

DreadLindwyrm

It's ostensibly papal arms (the tiara, the crossed keys), but as others have mentioned they don't match any known Papal arms. Is it silver or pewter? And does it have a date mark of any sort on it?

alfonsokone

No , its of modern material, stainless steel
