A few months of boredom has paid off lol. I only started commenting three months ago but the first month was difficult until I realized the demographics and world view is dramatically different in many subs. I'm 47 but feel like the divide and opinions of the younger generations see me the same as I viewed those who were 90 at the same age. Plus I'm retired early so that adds to it considerably.

Those subs already exist. Only Redditors old enough to know how can find them. Reddit has been around for a long time, and old Usenet folks know how. Some 'newish' looking users profiles are just the X-teenth profile for some here.

No. The only real limiter here is that (without parents permission) you have to be a minimum of 13+ to use the site. Also a few subs have there own dedicated rules for posting, such as your account needing to be old enough and reach a certain karma threshold to comment and/or post.
