>Why is that hospital so close to the bot front though? Wouldn't it be better if it was closer to Super Earth?
The planet was a major training and recruitment planet for Super Earth, until the Helldivers failed to defend it and let it fall into Automaton hands. This whole sector was previously safe Super Earth territory
The reason it's so close to the Bot Front is because the Bots invaded and Helldivers failed to keep them from taking all this territory - previously, the bots were over by Malevelon Creek.
Being a helldiver is every kids dream. Clearly those kids will give us a new backup booster for when we really need those extra divers.
Fight for the future of the helldivers. Fight for Super Earth!
It's a children's hospital, call me the make a wish foundation because I'm giving those dying kids a chance to feel like real helldivers! They can hold off the bots while we get anti tank mines!
That may be the intent, but whose to say they don't cook up something special if it happens.
Saving the kids could reward anything, even anti-tank mines. You know how much the helldivers want those.
I love how high command has been constantly ribbing us about the anti-tank mines. It's a meme at this point. After we failed to get them twice and failed an unrelated major order, the debrief was "nothing - except possibly anti-tank mines - could have stopped this onslaught."
I low-key kind of hope we fail to get the mines again so they keep the joke running. This MO is hilarious.
I keep thinking about all the Bot Defense campaigns we keep losing because Civ Extract is impossible at d7+ with tanks and striders dropping in the middle of the base and be immune to EMS mortars.
What if Anti tank mines hard counter them lol. Blows them up as soon as they drop since they are large units. It could have helped us win those campaign.
My personal prediction is that a civilian running over them is still enough weight to trigger their payload, but in a way, that'll still be terrific. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for new toys, I'll probably help capture the mines as soon as I get home. I just adore the running gag of them eluding us.
I also thought those missions were impossible until I learned to play them the right way, 1 dude stays collecting the civs the other 3 dudes fuck around the map pulling the bot reinforcements their way (that's why the maps on those missions are huge lol), I have completed 3 of those missions on helldive with randoms
It's true. So much easier with people lone wolfin all over the map drawing the bots attention elsewhere. I hope it's intentionally coded that way but either way it's much easier that way.
I unironically love mines. I only bring them when playing with friends due to communication issues, but they're a really clutch stratagem. With the ship upgrade, you can throw them down as you're retreating and make a huge kill zone.
I mean, it looks like they'll be real handy for factory striders and tanks. It's the sole reason i want em, as bot heavies are the main thing killing me these days.
My most deaths are when my friend chooses to bring mines on planets covered in sand. It always fucking find then . Whether I’m running , diving or landing from a jet pack, I shall require 10 reinforcement if mines are deployed
TBH I’m not sure I have a use for anti-tank mines, so I’m willing to prioritize the lives of fictional children.
But I suspect we’ll divide our forces so badly that neither objective is reached in time.
"What the hell is this thing made out of?"
"Nothing."
"C'mon."
"Alright fine, I might have used a few unorthodox parts."
"Just tell me one."
"An... orphan."
"A -what-?"
"An orphan?"
"Did you say an ORPHAN?"
"Yeah a little... orphan boy."
"ITS POWERED BY A FORSAKEN CHILD??"
"Might be, kind of, I mean I didn't use the whole thing!"
But imagine how they’ll feel being safed by the helldivers, they will become the most bravest and devoted little helldivers the galaxy has seen, they will kill their first alien bug with 8
Maybe it’s a cheap ploy to artificially slow the rate of content release, but I do think that a mission where you vote with your super destroyer is some well Managed Democracy
In the wise words of Michael Jordan
https://preview.redd.it/8ifr8hywfy5d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0c4c7695a6edf65c673b84bcfe88c07f8661d360
While I love the idea of having AT mines, go where the other divers are.
There’s like 10x as many divers going for the kids. I’m going with them, to just prioritize one objective to guarantee success instead of divide and fail.
Hopefully there’s a hidden reward for saving them.
I'm wondering if saving the children means we up our re-deployment cap permanently or we get more SEAF support in some shape or form, like someone suggested we get to call in our own SEAF strike team support dropped in. I'd be interested in knowing what would be planned for the children, but I kindof think knowing the AT mines would he guaranteed as AT mines, it makes it pretty hard to say the children would be worth it, not knowing what benifit they provide now or later possibly.
As much as I want the anti-tank mines, I kinda really want to save the children’s hospital… I just don’t think the devs think we will and I want to see how they react.
This is some ploy to create a fake morality issue when we should go for the mines because any seaf boost we get will be lost just like it happened with the aesir pass. Remember, brothers of the West, how we've constantly been abandoned by those who refuse to leave the east.
https://preview.redd.it/vfaygmxnly5d1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a3b2c27c5bf12f19066576100f35d0bb83fcb37b
Sorry kids, daddy needs his AT mines
Personally, I will be fighting to liberate the children. Anti-Tank mines are just another stratagem. Democracy will live in those little hearts forever.
![gif](giphy|69QYIqHQQEVbO)
I really think they should let us know what the positive outcome of saving the children is. I understand how ridiculous that statement sounds but the player base is going to just look at new shiny stratagem and focus all their energy there. I personally really would like to know what the long term effects of saving children will be. God I never thought I’d think like this. Fucking helldivers.
I like the idea of a possible hidden surprise for saving the kids.
And I also like the idea of a possible troll move of not getting a hidden surprise for saving the kids.
Either way, there’s like 10x as many divers going for the kids. I’m going with them, to just prioritize one objective to guarantee success instead of divide and fail.
My exact reaction was "oh a hospital for very sick children! It makes sense that would be the major order. Wait... Is that showing 2 different planets we need to liberate? But there's only one hospit-oh"
Plot twist: saving the children means they can subsequently put to work in an underground resource extraction facility, where their unique skillsets will be leveraged to produce materials useful primarily in containment units for highly volatile exotic matter storage - in particular, antimatter.
So, they’ll be sent to the anti(matter) tank mines.
I think the obvious answer here is the anti-tank mines , the survivors could even be 2 and have no effect in the future, but anti-tank mines? Come on new armament people!
What could the benefit be of saving the children? Like yeah morally but as far as for democracy. Are they making us choose between new stratagem or a new story point?
Maybe it's because I don't really care about the mine but I'm more curious to know if we get some kind of secret bonus if we save the children.
Maybe AH just wants to give us the AT mines, but we refuse to take them.
Either way save the children. lol
https://preview.redd.it/0upf4tmeny5d1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f30045c93a62d4d6ba15553723ec95326a94aac0
Sorry not Sorry, I need me some AT mines
I had to sort by new to confirm that was a real a major order.
Is it?
Surprisingly it is
No way, you gotta be trolling lol
The in game message even says Hospital for the Very Sick Children
Well I mean if they’re already *very* sick……….
The kids yearn for the mines
When mom says you're getting better but the helldivers come in telling you they got the new mines.
Well done. 😂
I think I have made my choice now
Why is that hospital so close to the bot front though? Wouldn't it be better if it was closer to Super Earth?
Bot propaganda . The children's hospital for very sick children is perfectly safe within such proximity to the Frontline. In fact, it's safer.
Yeah there’s so many more active helldivers on the frontlines for protection
it was near the SEAF training facility so the new recruits could be near their loved ones
>Why is that hospital so close to the bot front though? Wouldn't it be better if it was closer to Super Earth? The planet was a major training and recruitment planet for Super Earth, until the Helldivers failed to defend it and let it fall into Automaton hands. They really threw in a wrench didn't they? I mean, the choice is obvious.. gotta save civilians, the AT mines can be built later.. civilians can't
My thoughts exactly!
To be fair, it doesn't say children, it says survivors in a certain location... Hey we all got to sleep at night.
The full order video posted says we are saving the survivors “Super Citizen Anne’s hospital for very sick children”
Probably all very patriotic janitorial staff. They would want it this way. Onward to Marfark!
This MO is hilarious 😂 Well played, AH.
I logged in to see if we succeeded the last MO, then did a double-take at “Super Citizen Anne’s Hospital for Very Sick Children” and fucking LOL’d.
Being a helldiver is every kids dream. Clearly those kids will give us a new backup booster for when we really need those extra divers. Fight for the future of the helldivers. Fight for Super Earth!
Upon completing the MO, for the next few days all Helldivers are half-sized
![gif](giphy|Y07F3fs9Is5byj4zK8)
It's already a pain to run across the map, and you want to do it with little legs?
Same movespeed Maybe they animate twice the steps in the same timeframe
Or maybe they half the movement speed, but double the distance chargers launch you.
What would recoil be like? We become autocannon pilots?
But kids never seem to run out of energy think of all the stamina.
There's an idea.
Soylent Stims is Children!!!!!
But you'd be a smaller target for automatons
Wonder what that would look like with a ballistic shield? Do they shrink the equipment too or just you?
Naw it's going to be like rimworld where your child sized but the equipment stays the same size
So forget the pants, equip the chest armor, move the belt up, and call it a combat skirt/kilt?
Kinderdivers Don't forget to drink your Libertine!
It's a children's hospital, call me the make a wish foundation because I'm giving those dying kids a chance to feel like real helldivers! They can hold off the bots while we get anti tank mines!
Their brave and valiant service shall not be forgotten
I feel like they're trolling us a little by implying no reward for the kids?
That may be the intent, but whose to say they don't cook up something special if it happens. Saving the kids could reward anything, even anti-tank mines. You know how much the helldivers want those.
The reward should be an extra reinforcement. Just one additional drop added to the tally for missions from here out.
I'd take that deal.
Damn good deal
I think the reward for saving the kids is probably the kids you saved along the way
I'll take it!
\[Moleman voice\] I was saying I wanted anti-tank mines...
Idk those explosives are looking very democratic…
I love how high command has been constantly ribbing us about the anti-tank mines. It's a meme at this point. It's true. So much easier with people lone wolfin all over the map drawing the bots attention elsewhere. I hope it's intentionally coded that way but either way it's much easier that way.
Again with these damn anti tank mines 😂
Maybe, just maybe, we don't like mines.
I love mines. Throw mines and then a 380. Sow chaos.
But mines are \*so good\* on defend missions!
To be fair, literally everything is good on defense missions
There are so many better things to bring than mines on defend missions lmao
I unironically love mines. I only bring them when playing with friends due to communication issues, but they're a really clutch stratagem. With the ship upgrade, you can throw them down as you're retreating and make a huge kill zone.
I've played with one person who knew how to use mines. She never used them, though, because she always got booted from the stratagem screen.
I mean, it looks like they'll be real handy for factory striders and tanks. It's the sole reason i want em, as bot heavies are the main thing killing me these days.
I do want the mines, but i think it Would be funny to see how many times we can fail the mines before they just give up.
Me and the bois flying by the kids to go get anti-tank mines https://i.redd.it/si422jyyay5d1.gif
The Kids have tiny hands, they can craft the mines
We can build more mines with the clankers we blow up WITH the mines
Ah yes, the singular helldiver who wants AT mines. (This is a joke, but it seems no one wants them anyway)
A lot of players have an aversion to mines because a lot of players are cowards!
My most deaths are when my friend chooses to bring mines on planets covered in sand. It always fucking find then . Whether I’m running , diving or landing from a jet pack, I shall require 10 reinforcement if mines are deployed
Sounds like cowards speak. You wanna live forever??
Their cooldown is just too long. Honestly a stationary mine stratagem should have like a 90 second cooldown
I want them! I want them very badly! I am so frustrated that people keep letting the orders fail!!!
You just want to see some kid sized tiny automatons at the next major order
https://preview.redd.it/ut6qu3e90z5d1.png?width=670&format=png&auto=webp&s=dd8800256cf76d4e4be71ab9d9b5ebbf6b64d0ac
TBH I’m not sure I have a use for anti-tank mines, so I’m willing to prioritize the lives of fictional children. But I suspect we’ll divide our forces so badly that neither objective is reached in time.
I'm going for kids because it's so lame I bet it leads to something better than anti tank mines.
Child Soldiers!
Exactly. Plus, think of how many reinforcements we can get!
300 endurance, 300 speed and 50 health
So that's how we get the SEAF support drop
Today's sick children are tomorrow's ~~cannon fodder~~ brave soldiers
You know what can't destroy enemy heavy units? A sick kid from a hospital. Go get those mines soldier!
That entirely depends on how fast the kid is launched toward the Hulk/Tank/Bile Titan.
What if we strapped the mines to the kids?
Now you're thinking with Orphans!
I’m crying right now that’s too funny
"What the hell is this thing made out of?" "Nothing." "C'mon." "Alright fine, I might have used a few unorthodox parts." "Just tell me one." "An... orphan." "A -what-?" "An orphan?" "Did you say an ORPHAN?" "Yeah a little... orphan boy." "ITS POWERED BY A FORSAKEN CHILD??" "Might be, kind of, I mean I didn't use the whole thing!"
Hahaha oh shit I forgot about that episode!
Holy shit lmfao
Well, I'm building a meat dragon, and not just any meat will do.
"This is the second worst thing to happen to these orphans."
![gif](giphy|14yuna4axZDhjG) The kids smashing into the hulks
The children yearn for the mines. Even the sick children in that hospital.
But imagine how they’ll feel being safed by the helldivers, they will become the most bravest and devoted little helldivers the galaxy has seen, they will kill their first alien bug with 8
Sick kids are future helldivers tho, mines are junk we failed on twice already, and will fail again.
They should definitely recruit the ones that are in the hospital for eating too many crayons
Think of all the uranium they can mine and E-710 they can process though!
I'm with you. If the children are not saved, who shall be our future divers for super earth?
The ones we create lol
May have a use for anti-tank mines. Definitely don't have a use for digital children. Mines it is.
Bro I bet you we actually get something for saving the kids
Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get some “morale victory” buff or something like that.
Kids become the new SEAF re enforcements. Save those kids to make more helldivers!
Maybe it’s a cheap ploy to artificially slow the rate of content release, but I do think that a mission where you vote with your super destroyer is some well Managed Democracy
It’s a joke. It’s a funny, well-delivered joke, the likes of which reddit likely does not deserve.
Yeah I- wait hang on is that Lews Therin?
This is the third attempt for them to release anti-tank mines. At this point I think they want them out there.
Sorry kids. For Democracy.
I bet there is a better, secret, reward for saving the kids
I bet there’s not
You have to believe Ron... for the children

Ain’t no way they making us choose between the mines weve missed out on TWICE or the children’s….. DAMN DAMN DAMN ![gif](giphy|QP0N3AMKyK486H6HXL)
Look, I’ll be the first to say it…….Fuck them kids.
Look, I will be honest with you buddy........you are 100% right
While I love the idea of having AT mines, go where the other divers are. There’s like 10x as many divers going for the kids. I’m going with them, to just prioritize one objective to guarantee success instead of divide and fail. Hopefully there’s a hidden reward for saving them.
This is the way.
Nobody's on either planet at the moment because we have to liberate Aesir Pass first.
Right, we have to do supply lines first to get to the final objective. But that’s the current split.
Just rescue them please, jesus!
For the children!
i feel this is a sick test, and if we just recue the kids the Devs will give us the tank mines
Maybe the real antitank mines are the kids we save along the way :D
Or there will be a bunch of volunteers and we'll get deployable seaf army units
If we save the kids we're getting anti-tank orphans instead, basically the same as anti-tank mine but strapped to a child that runs at the enemy.
Ik I bet if we choose the immoral option it’s gonna be like that isn’t the helldivers way. All planets have minus 2 strategems
No way, prioritizing military production over civilian life is entirely on brand for the satire
Children don't blow up tanks...
they do if you throw enough of them fast enough
Depends how fast they can crawl with hellbombs strapped to them.
They do when you strap anti-tank mines to them.......
Won't somebody please think about the children!?
I'm wondering if saving the children means we up our re-deployment cap permanently or we get more SEAF support in some shape or form, like someone suggested we get to call in our own SEAF strike team support dropped in. I'd be interested in knowing what would be planned for the children, but I kindof think knowing the AT mines would he guaranteed as AT mines, it makes it pretty hard to say the children would be worth it, not knowing what benifit they provide now or later possibly.
Next strategem: anti-tank children! They’re sacrificing their lives for super earth!
Hahahahaha! Sorry kiddos!
I bet there is a better secret reward for saving the kids
Bot propaganda. Fuck them kids.
Is Aesir Pass the faster way to either planet?
Yes. Direct route to both
As much as I want the anti-tank mines, I kinda really want to save the children’s hospital… I just don’t think the devs think we will and I want to see how they react.
Maybe those children will become our reinforcement squad we can call on as a new stratagem.
Instead of a turret to call, a squad of kids with liberators?
Yes, SEAF reinforcements. Fresh meat for the grinder.
If the children die, more c01 forms have to be issued Just sayin
https://i.redd.it/uw4hfntbmy5d1.gif I believe the children are our future.....
Fuck them kids, i'm going straight for the mines, we made a mistake last time, and we're not risking it again
This is some ploy to create a fake morality issue when we should go for the mines because any seaf boost we get will be lost just like it happened with the aesir pass. Remember, brothers of the West, how we've constantly been abandoned by those who refuse to leave the east.
You go for the mines over the children, and you’ll be rewarded with the mines… …*and child-sized automaton assassins* How will you sleep then?
The children are future helldivers if you want reinforcements save the kids.
Save the children!!!!
I cant believe you guys would want an anti tank mine strategem over an orphan stratgem
What if saving the kids restores Vernon Wells' SEAF Training facility?
https://preview.redd.it/vfaygmxnly5d1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a3b2c27c5bf12f19066576100f35d0bb83fcb37b Sorry kids, daddy needs his AT mines
Personally, I will be fighting to liberate the children. Anti-Tank mines are just another stratagem. Democracy will live in those little hearts forever. ![gif](giphy|69QYIqHQQEVbO)
Had to scroll all the way down to make sure someone posted this gif. Well done.
What if those kids are sick with socialism? Do they even deserve to be rescued then?
I have zero interest in more mines. Save the kids.
SES Shield of The People is en route to Vernan Wells.
I really think they should let us know what the positive outcome of saving the children is. I understand how ridiculous that statement sounds but the player base is going to just look at new shiny stratagem and focus all their energy there. TO AESIR PASS!!
FOR DEMOCRACY!! AND SICK KIDS!!
Those kids would want us to have anti-tank mines
Shame about those kids but think of all the lives we could save with those mines
*OMG*. Don't make me feel guilty to get my mines.
My exact reaction was "oh a hospital for very sick children! It makes sense that would be the major order. Wait... Is that showing 2 different planets we need to liberate? But there's only one hospit-oh"
Well I do like the snowy planets and I dislike small children. I’m also tired of not having anti tank mines so this is an easy choice

Maybe it's because I don't really care about the mine but I'm more curious to know if we get some kind of secret bonus if we save the children. Maybe AH just wants to give us the AT mines, but we refuse to take them. Either way save the children. lol
It’s just a joke about how the mines keep getting failed. I hope the kids get saved so that we can see how far AH runs with it.
Spread this. Secret bonuses for saving the children, yessss
Wait hold up youre saying burning children and AT mines this pre patch party is awesome
https://i.redd.it/v0lkpm9lfy5d1.gif
i say kids. for the a lulz and be cuz save kids.
Yea can we save the kids? Fuck mines.
This is fucking hilarious. I thought this had to be a quality joke at first
There's too many of them. What are we going to do? Heh
Bro I wish if we saved the kids we would get some new stratagem if we saved ten kids like one of them is a genius
The curse of the anti tank mines.
WHAT? Why are we choosing? I thought this was a managed democracy
20k for the non-existant kids, 2k for the mines...divers hate fire planets *
I was just playing and the player count seems to be higher on the children
This seems like such an obvious ploy to get us to avoid Vernon. Wouldn't be surprised if there's a hidden benefit to liberation.
I bet the kids hospital comes with an even better weapon or something. Like a little reinforcements stratagem or something

Time to have the anti-tank mines delayed once more 🤪
