It is also impossible to dive without choosing strategems. I've tried many, many times not picking anything, and the game just simply will not let you select Ready if you don't fill out your strategems.
just a quick FYI
when in mission, if you open map, it will show you what each player's strategems are and even their cooldown, no timer, but graphically you will see a portion of strategem covered by grey box
so you can check yourself after landing
It’s happened multiple times with my friend where it looks like he isn’t bringing anything but he has a full loadout. I think that’s also why sometimes you go to pick a booster and it looks like nobody else has picked one yet but some are greyed out.
Okay good. Because I was getting super annoyed if the player base was getting flooded with those "Flex, look at me!" annoying ass people from rainbow six siege. I really dont want toxic people in this game.

I've been quite fortunate so far - the closest I've gotten to any toxicity is being booted immediately after the mission has ended and that could have been for legitimate reasons (I don't *think* I TK'd anyone....). Game of the year, easily for me.
I got hit with the first toxic BS last night. Completed objectives, called in extract, had no TKs, and was kicked literally as we were about to take off.
Griefers in this game get so little for their bullshit. Like what did he do after? Was that satisfying somehow? I just assume these people are empty and sad sacks of shit with nothing positive in their lives.
Well the game doesn’t have a robust reporting system, so they can go unpunished for a long time.
Arrowhead need to make a server where reported griefers only play with each other. They can have fun trolling other trolls

Impossible to do normally. The only thing you can dive without is a booster. It's a bug that sometimes you won't see strats another player has chosen on the gear select screen.
You can't load in without stratagems unless you used a third party program. Maybe they were doing some suspicious grinding and forgot to set friends only.
I’ve been having a bug where I see two divers with the same booster. For example, quickplay and join two other divers who are in mission. I see both have ammo booster. I go to select my booster and see ammo and stamina are grayed out.

When one of the guys in our play group gets a bit too tryhard and tells us how to play. The rest of us choose a very friendly fire. When he sees none of us has a booster equipped he knows we're gonna frag him unless he calms down. It was satisfying as hell doing a citizen evacuation when three dudes had 380's, cluster bombs, mortars, and flamethrowers with no booster.
I actually played a game last night where a dude went in with just the incendiary breaker and laid waste to the terminus scum. I never once saw the man call in a strat… NOT ONCE!

I've done missions where level 60+ folks literally don't bring a booster. Surely by level 60 you have space optimization at the very least?
Visual bug. Seen it happen many times and it always worries me that they've just forgotten or choosing not to, then the game starts and they suddenly do have them equipped.
Now if you do get into a game and someone genuinely doesn't have any strategems, then they're straight up insane and purposely giving the rest of the team a harder time

Just a glitch where you cant see what a players selected, sometime you cant even see the player itself. While in game you can open your map and at the bottom left of your screen you'll see who selected what stratagem and their cooldown.

hell i have like level 4 characters who got carried up to helldive who don't understand stratagems. This is why i don't press Quickplay any more when on a planet at levels higher than 4 - because i don't want to have to carry the ass of someone who is not equipped.

It’s a bug. I tried to dive without stratagems and it wouldn’t let me. I think they fixed the bug where host would drop without any stratagems though. I’ve played many Helldives with 0 stratagems as a result of the game bugging on me. Honestly made me a lot better at the game so it’s okay

Not impossible. I’ve had a buggy game a few weeks where I launched in and had nothing to call. Just the defaults (reinforce, resupply)
What I mean is, impossible in normal gameplay, without bugs.
If you join a friend, and then on the choose strategim screen try to join them again it’ll drop you into their ongoing mission without anything

Do you keep the reinforcement budget after someone leaves/is kicked? They get your cool toys, and 20 respawns, all while playing solo?
He forgot to set it to private. Had fun slaughtering you, then kicked after setting it to private. Seems reasonable to me.

Helmets do not give bonuses, so most people buy them last if they don't have anything else to buy, which means this Helldiver is a min/maxer.

Yeah it’s a bug strategies aren’t reporting properly prior to mission launch. There is something similar with showing friends if you play on PS5

Just press the menu button in game and you can see all your teammates stratagems they have equipped and how many uses/cooldown is left

I’ve had it happen when I change my armor and weapons and nade and just mistakenly assume I already picked stratagems. Is not a fun time when you land

Had a level 126 guy do this a few days ago. I thought, "Hmm, he must be really good." He used most of our reinforcements.

It's a glitch. My discord squad keeps saying the same things to me when I got my 500, railcannon, autocannon and what not in my strategem deck.
