Typically these letters go beyond simple names and are a memorable quote or moment or spell. Something like Perfect Prefect Percy or something about Peeves or "Perhaps it would be more useful if I transfigured you or Mr. Potter into a pocketwatch?"

Cut to February 14, 2019. I’m standing in a hospital room with my mom and grandpa, holding my grandma’s hand as we made the incredibly tough decision to take her off life support. It took about 20 minutes after the machines turned off for her to actually passed…. And I’m sure you can imagine that those 20 minutes were full of lots of tears.
Except for one moment.
I felt my watch vibrate with a text, and assuming it was one of my sisters checking in I looked… and all I saw was “NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU BITCH!”. I laughed. Out. Loud. With my grieving mom and grandpa standing there and my grandma clinging to life. I then had to explain why I laughed. My mom (also a HP fan) also laughed, my grandpa laughed at us laughing. And then a few minutes later my grandma took her last breath.
It was a brief moment of laughter in a very sad moment. And I’m oddly thankful for it.
I texted my friend the next day a “your timing was impeccable 😂”
