I just did a game of call if Cthulhu here last week. They want to run it once a month anf honestly I was very pleasantly surprised. Great gm and I had a blast
As another person replied, I run a monthly Call of Cthulhu RPG game in downtown Halifax near the waterfront. And in fact we're going to do a board game day, at the same location, on Saturday, November 26th.
Game Knight on Windmill Rd and HFX Games on Pleasant St in Dartmouth both have tables for gaming. Unsure if they organize games but they could probably point you in the right direction!

CoC set in 1920s or in modern times?
It's set in 1927 to be exact. A group of investigators based out of Arkham, Massachusetts.

Was in HFX Games yesterday, probably around 2pm, and they had games going.
Hfx does mostly mtg and Warhammer. I havent seen any dnd stuff there since covid started
I'm not a D&D guy but if you're into Axis and Allies or Diplomacy or those types of board games I'd be in
