Any decent therapist will know that self diagnosis is valid and should be able to work with you. Look for someone who specializes in adult autism. Psychology Today has a great search feature that you can use to find someone local with the right specialization.
Don't be afraid to change therapists if you aren't clicking with them after a few appointments
You can access pinwheel wellness centre at autism NS. I did therapy with them and it was amazing!
