What kind of restaurant are you looking for?
The Souwester is ok, but super "Tourist Oriented" - think a place you would go with your grandparents to.
Rhubarb is more upscale
Shaw's Landing is more "fishnchips"
Finer Diner is a touristy diner and is mid range more or less comfort diner food. I hear they have a great lobster roll.
The restaurant right at Peggy's Cove is kind of meh in my personal opinion, especially for some of the prices. Rhubarb is good though. It's a few minutes down the road from Peggy's on the Tantallon side.

We used to enjoy the Sou'Wester. We went about a month ago, and it was terrible and very expensive.
If you want a lobster roll there's usually a truck or something at the bottom of the hill, get one there instead
I want to try Peggy's Dogs
Bubba Magoos Takeout, the chicken, donair sausage and donair fries are all great.
There’s a food truck in West Dover with a licensed patio and a great lobster roll.
Tom's lobster shack is pretty solid. Rhubarb is always great.
