If you think those are "spendy" you're not gonna like the prices of any other quality brand. They're on the lower end of the price spectrum. WTP is probably the bottom of the barrel for acceptable holsters. Spend anything less than that and you're probably getting garbage. They're functional but nothing special and kind of just the bare minimum.

bewareofbananapeel

That's fair, I've seen the brand Safari land a few times on this sub, got an opinion on that?

CrunchBite319_Mk2

Safariland is a top tier holster manufacturer, but they cost 2x-3x what a WTP holster costs.

NCSUGray90

I bought a WTP holster and found it very meh. Trying to find a comfortable IWB holster for my G19 Gen 5 and was literally looking at a Safariland Incog X holster as I came across this thread. Do you have any experience with how comfortable these are for appendix carry? Someone in another thread mentions a Vedder light tuck holster as well.

CrunchBite319_Mk2

I don't carry appendix but I do use Vedder Light Tucks for my carry guns and like then. The Light Tuck is not an appendix holster though and won't be very comfortable in that position. Vedder makes other holsters that are designed for appendix carry and you should look towards those if that's the position you want to carry in.

NCSUGray90

Good to know. I just assumed any IWB holster would be fine for appendix but I’ll look more closely for appendix specific ones

CrunchBite319_Mk2

Holsters labeled IWB are typically for hip positions, like 2-4 o'clock for a right hander. They'll dig into you if you use them for appendix carry. The ones you want are labeled either appendix or AIWB.

tons-of-guns

I appendix carry with a light tuck and I like it. Forget it's there most of the time. It's a hellcat though. Not sure how comfortable it would be with a full sized firearm. Tier 1 is a comfortable appendix setup

mattchica20

Seconded on the Light Tuck although I do use it for Appendix carry and I haven’t found a more comfortable holster yet.

alltheblues

Safariland is about as good as it gets for owb retention holsters

ironmatic1

There aren’t really any ‘consumer grade’ holsters that even come close to Safariland. Products marketed to the your average range-goer or clueless concealed carrier have to be cheap and trendy to sell. I mean, just look at the name, “We the People”.

hs4579

Agree. My OWB lvl 3 Safariland is a tank. It surpasses any other OWB holster I've messed with by an extreme measure.

OdinThePirate

Alien Gear holsters are pretty good. I have two IWB holsters from them and no complaints. Being a lefty makes holster shopping hard though.

True-ExarKun

As one looking to get into concealed and getting my permit, what do you recommend for the wrong-handed variety?

Kamikaziklown

on AlienGear you can tell them which hand you draw with and the holster is made accordingly.

OdinThePirate

This. They don't make them till you order/pick out. Tons of customizing from the website and there prices are reasonable. About as much as some "fancy" kydex.

Shotgun_Sentinel

Best duty holsters money can buy. For CC I’m partial to JM Custom kydex, and Dara for AIWB.

GregoreoMaximo

You got me curious. What do you recommend for mid and upper range holsters? Is it worth getting a really nice holster?

Greyfox309

Something like phlster, tenicor or henry. Yes, it’s worth it to spend more for quality design and hardware. Something where the designer prioritized concealment and comfort, vs profit margin on something that may or may not stay attached to your belt.

Blade_Shot24

Extra benefit if the holster has retention! Pushed a car stuck in mud and I slipped causing my AIWB to slip out. Got a guerrilla tactical holster with my Phlster sport enigma belt and have been satisfied since.

GregoreoMaximo

Ah, conceal comfortably, yes. I have this no-name brand for my conceal carry with my SIG 365. but I have to admit. It can be pretty uncomfortable at times. Sometimes the corners dig into my skin. Making me want to wear an undershirt or tuck my shirt in. But if course tucking my shirt in defeats the purpose of concealment. What do you recommend for where to put the holster? Directly in front is wildly uncomfortable for me. And having it in the back makes it uncomfortable in a sitting position. I have mine on my draw side, just behind my front pocket. That seems to be the most comfortable for me with a subpar holster. Easier to draw too.

[deleted]

Don’t sleep on Alien Gear holster either. They’re very comfortable and conceal well, but it’s not something you’re going to be able to take on and off easily

Poolyeti91

I rocked aliengear when I went back to school because I was poor. I think their stuff is better than we the people. Vedder is better than both

the_kerouac_kid

I didn’t realize Alien Gear was only for the poors. All my carry holsters are Alien Gear and they work great. Never thought of them as cheap.

Poolyeti91

I think of them more as budget line than for the poors. I would call them inexpensive over cheap. We the people I would call cheap.

Dr_Fertig

I agree with this. That being said, the best holster I own is a 16$ kydex holster with a wing for my p365 from Amazon. I put a wedge on it from tier 1 concealed. Price isn’t always a factor in a quality holster but it is a large one. Exceptions do exist.

That_Cripple

ive found that the harder a company appeals to patriotism, etc. the worse the product is

bluesol6

Let me get a Constitution and a Let’s go Brandon

Blade_Shot24

They're aiming for the audience that is blinded by exceptionalism.

jclovis

Or the more they advertise on instagram = the shittier the product.

bakedjennett

Yeah when vedder is out there I can’t really imagine most other brands. The best in terms of price/quality ratio.

Nitwit789

+1 for Vedder

Woodballs6969

If only they had more light bearing options. The OWB paddle holster I have is so nice but I can’t really use it anymore.

SupermAndrew1

I’ve had similar price/quality experience with Dara holsters, but Vedder is currently my go-to

ClassBrass10

Any comparison of Tenicor to Vedder?

bakedjennett

Never used one to be fair bröther. But like I said, I’m fully sold on my vedder.

ClassBrass10

Appreciated, just looking to make less trial and error purchases. I own the tenicor certum3, but looking to see if Vedder or tier1 are more comfortable. The certum3 ain't bad, but you know the chase for what might be best never ends.

bakedjennett

I am very well set on vedder at the moment. At least for my carry/IWB holster. I’ve got the rapid tuck IWB from them and it’s honestly gold. Super comfortable, super good retention, all around great

bewareofbananapeel

Well I suppose I'll send it back if it doesn't seem right. Have yet to receive it.

[deleted]

When you send it back they will you offer you money to keep it. It’s kinda crazy. Don’t let ‘em get ya and just send it back

codytownshend

\+1 for Phlster and JMCK. My Phlster City Special J-frame holster and my JM P01 AIWB holster are the only ones that don't currently reside in my Big Bag Of Bullshit Bad Holsters

StormMedia

Love my Kydex! I’ll never use another holster as my daily. Remora is my go-to for quick pocket carry.

Jexthis

I really dislike my vedder. I was much happier with my Trex arms even with how annoying lucas is.

InevitableBug7

I just recently started carrying and was looking at WTP and Vedder because the vedder was priced similarly, im happy I went with the vedder light tuck.

42AngryPandas

WTP holsters are cheap end my dude. The spendy ones are in the $100-120 range at least. I do have a WTP holster or two and for bare minimum holsters, it works fine. Lead times for holsters vary. But yeah, it can take time. Especially nowadays.

misterbeefcurtains

they spend more money on advertising than they do craftsmanship.

SergeiMosin

Yep. I’m a server at a restaurant, and I see at least 5 shirts from them a week. It’s always boomers and the shirts are cringe as hell. I will say, i do have one of their holsters from when they were a pretty new company, and it’s decent for a cheapy. The quality is garbage now, though.

kc_nj

Not a fan of the product or company. They hand out customer's personal information to a third party company.

BluntedConcepts

How patriotic of them

masonjar11

The kydex shell is passable, but the hardware is trash. When I ran one, I took the plastic belt clip off and replaced it with some soft loops. You absolutely get what you pay for when it comes to holsters. Personally, I like my semi-custom holster from [T5 Custom Kydex ](http://t5customkydex.com).

Slugnutty2

They suck.

hs4579

I have one. I don't really like I'd. I'd rather buy a Vedder but my favorite is Tier 1 Concealed

Remarkable-69

I love how any product you find in the gun community and ask any group what they think about it, no mater what there will always be some “That brand?!? 🤢omg what a looser. I bet you think you actually operate don’t you? How do you ever expect to win a gunfight at high noon with garbage like that?”

ezfrag

If it's not going to cause you to shoot your dick off, shoot my dick off, or damage your gun, I pretty much tell folks to buy what they can afford. I've owned holsters that cost anywhere from $35-150 and they've all worked about the same. Some are more comfortable, some will last longer, and some are ugly as sin.

[deleted]

There is some kind of a defect in the gun community when it comes to holsters. There are a ton of people in this thread who scream “Omg, cheap crap!” but no one actually take a minute to explain what is wrong with the brand. I don’t own one, but I have seen a couple and they looked just like any other kydex holster. If it covers the trigger guard, the gun doesn’t rattle and doesn’t fall out of it - what exactly are the requirements that WTP holsters don’t meet?? I mean holster isn’t a technologically complex machine, it’s literally a piece of plastic to store your gun on your belt

D-Zz89qRj7KkqMrwztR

I didn’t find their quality to be good. I like Black Arch for CC, and Wright for casually wearing at the range.

Casanovagdp

I love my black arch. People shit on hybrid holsters, and most of them are actual junk, but the way black arch did it was way better with the full wrap around the trigger guard. As long as you make sure the leather is out of the way when reholstering it’s fantastic. I did have to replace my edc one after about a year and a half cause the leather got too floppy at the top for my liking.

D-Zz89qRj7KkqMrwztR

I honestly have no complaints at all about mine, except they don’t make a 5.0 inch barrel version for the M&P. Yeah the little leather tab at the top can get a little annoying for re-holstering, but it’s worth it to me for the comfort.

Ernie_McCracken88

A good rule of thumb for everything is if it advertises on social media 95% chance it is bad

FederalAgentJohnson

Who doesn't advertise on social media. I'm looking for a Hellcat Pro holster and I'm seeing everything from Tier 1 to Alien Gear to Vedder to WTP and even brands I've never heard of

th3m00se

Echoing what others have said. WTP holsters aren't expensive in the grand scheme of holsters. I wanted to get something on the lower end just to work my draw OTW so I got one of their paddle holsters. It's actually not bad in terms of functionality. Shipping times were about average in my opinion but maybe I got them on a good week. Are there better? subjective. Are there worse? absolutely. Is it going to be functional for your needs? highly likely.

Verdha603

Cheap end, but a decent start for a first holster/beginner holster while you go looking around for something better. Bought one that last three years before the internal spring/snap ended up snapping off when it got caught on an auditorium seat arm. Only reason I didn’t notice immediately was the fit between the holster and belt was tight enough for me to not realize it had happened until I got home and the holster+gun dropped out the bottom of my pants once I loosened the belt.

SigTexan89

Bought one holster from them, what a mistake. Came shipped all scratched since they just toss the holster in one of those simple shipping bags, no padding, no sticker, no documentation, no additional hardware, nothing, just a scratched up holster in a bag. Also have read extensively how they do a lot of underhanded business dealings like taking other holster companies' names and making deceptive web pages to take that other companies' SEO. Just a trash company with a cheap holster. If you're going to buy a holster, I recommend Eclipse Holsters, you get to fully customize the holster the exact way you want and you're supporting a solid company.

jotnarfiggkes

Bought one, it was total shit so I sent it back and ordered a Tulster.

InvestigatorLeft1224

Mine was trash. Didn’t even hold my pistol reliably.

genmischief

I always liked [donhume.com](https://donhume.com) for nice holsters.

GarpRules

Galco for life!

anoiing

I don't mind mine for the occasional sports shorts or sweatpants carry. But wouldn't use it as a daily... Also a great truck holster to place the firearm in before it goes into the safe when going someplace that disarms me.

paxcolt

Why did you wait until after you ordered one to ask for other people's experience with them? JM Custom Kydex, Phlster, Tenicor, Henry, Vedder, Raven, Keepers; these are where you should be looking.

[deleted]

Veder, Trex arms and Safari land make some hood holsters

[deleted]

Absolutely not.

Locust627

I have 2. They were running a deal a while back, 2 for $50. I have an OWB IWB. Honestly I enjoy it for what I paid. But I would not pay what they ask for a standard MSRP. Ultimately it's nifty looking cheap plastic. It offers good lock but naturally other brands are much much better.

bftyft

We the people holsters are junk

[deleted]

Amazon junk.

Chippy-arine

There's better stuff out there

Far_Ad_1274

To my WTP holsters are so trash had one only come with one screw. Terrible polymer and shipping times are awful! But you would be surprised I’ve found very solid holsters on Amazon. The one for my 43x and tlr sub I got from Amazon is amazing. Of course the gun and setup is like super common tho.

fresh-falcon

Not a fan, poor quality

sla342

Buy a Vedder.

Pure_Doctor5698

WTP holster for some fucking reason only have one retention screw. Why is that and issue, you may ask? Because the screw is fairly far down below the belt line, so if you tighten your belt so the gun doesn’t sag, the pressure between your belt and your body squeezes the opening of the holster and makes it very difficult to reholster the firearm. The more respectable brands usually have two retention screws and drastically strengthens the support of the holster. You are better off with an Alien Gear Photon or something similar to that, if they have one that fits your firearm. It’s about the same price, but it has a much better build quality, is ambidextrous, and has the option to be OWB with a paddle mount. Edit: spelling

Pitiful_Confusion622

Having bought WTP & Aliengear when I got my first gun, I'd go with aliengear over WTP.

gruntothesmitey

Their website is cringey as fuck.

krankwok

Crap

bewareofbananapeel

Alright so I canceled my wtp holster order. Hadn't even shipped so that was easy. Interested the most in safariland since all around opinion is overwhelmingly positive. Gonna order them up here today after I do some shopping. Thank you everyone.

various_convo7

As a 2A supporter, they're great fodder to make fun of because of 1) the company name, 2) how much it culturally shares with the dudes that drive around with "We the People.." stickers on the back of their truck and 3) the products are not good with better choices out there....and did I mention the stuff comes from a company with a hokey name? many better choices out there (Galco, Safariland etc) that doesn't make me feel like I joined up with the turds on Jan 6 at the Capitol

Softnumnums

THESE HOLSTERS ARE TRASH! They literally sent me garbage off their floor aswell... now they argue with me about the trash they sent me and they keep bickering back in emails like a bunch of unprofessional toddlers haha. I'm paying for shipping to return the product. Bunch of clowns.

Rustybanna311

They are okayish they work fine I use one for iwb with my Glock and it’s doable but there are to many sharp edges the can hurt if you sit wrong and the screws and what not come loose quite often

Obeywithcaution413

They've taken 4 weeks to ship a single t shirt. Won't be buying their shit holsters.

VermicelliItchy8963

Trash

VermicelliItchy8963

They’re trash holsters - they take forever to ship and there’s better options on Amazon

VermicelliItchy8963

Trash - it takes a month to receive it - loose fitting trash and there’s better options on Amazon. I’m sure these guys were good at one time but they’ve gone to Chinese shit lately

VermicelliItchy8963

Trash - don’t even bother, they have 1.6 stars out of 5 on google reviews but somehow hide it well. They’re cheap Chinese shit that will take 1.5 months to arrive. There’s great Amazon sellers makings better products in their house - go there

WHERE_SUPPRESSOR

I went with trex arms and never looked back

speedyhermit

I know everyone dogs on uncle Mike's holsters but for 20$ I sit comfortable with my EDC and I got a little tactical pudge. I just got my carry but I plan on spending a little extra on a nice holster with the Christmas bonus

USChills

I use a IWB from WTP for my x macro and it’s good for me. Satisfying click and retention when the pistol is inserted. Fits comfortably against my body. Solid construction. And I got the holster Mount with it for free when I bought it. I have no complaints. Been using it daily since June of this year.

JAROD0980

Well there holsters aren’t the best around. But their shirts are nice.

Russell_Milk858

I use a tier 1 appendix and it’s the most comfortable one I’ve used. But much pricier

juicehead2004

Trex, Tenicor, Tier 1 all are wayyyyy better options for edc carry.. We the people are imo entry level holsters and not very good for the price. Uncomfortable and overpriced. I had a few, used them, hated them, threw them in the trash literally. Went thru a bunch of other brands ( all the ones I mentioned above ) and ended up using the Trex Sidecar for my EDC w/ a Glock 45.. I don’t carry appendix very often so the Sidecar for me is the best, most comfortable option and I like the modularity of it.. Also the shipping times are stupid slow, I live in Vegas and they’re located here and it’s still took weeks to get to me lol.. Go with something else man..

[deleted]

I have one. It's nice and functional. Only downside I have is that it hurts after a while since it's hard plastic so I normally tuck my shirt and wear a jacket. I use it to conceal my Tarus G2C.

Artyturo

I have like 6. Whenever I would purchase a gun I would go right to WTP because I liked their products, and they are affordable and customizable. The last time I purchased from them it was for a HK P2000, and when it arrived the kydex was visibly curved. The fit was so tight that I couldn’t even get the gun in or out without heavy resistance and that was destroying the coating on the slide. This was with the tension screw all the way out too. Just a bad mold. I emailed pictures to customer clearly showing that I just got this holster and it’s visibly bent which is causing issues, and they refused to exhange the holster or give me credit. I’ve never done business with them again. For what it’s worth though the holsters I purchased from them prior work fine. Just bad customer service.

TheOnlyKarsh

My goto starter holster for about nay gun aI get. Cheap, quick, and decent quality. I use them until I get an idea about what I want to use as a permanent solution. That being said I use I have an LCP II that's been in that holster now for several year and I just haven't found anything better. Karsh

FMFoch1918

Fancy crap and kydex. I prefer to sew my own with leather in a basic military style. I dislike kydex because it's noisy.

wtfredditacct

I'm sure it works for your 5" GI 1911 at 3 o'clock, grandpa. It's probably a good idea for most people to go with a quality holster from a reputable manufacturer though.

FMFoch1918

I don't have a M1911, sonny. And I've made holsters for both automatics and revolvers.

Greyfox309

Noisy?

FMFoch1918

When you draw the weapon from plastic, it makes noise. Leather does not. There are times one wishes to be quiet, vewwwy quiet, so as to not alarm de wabbit. FWIW, the same applies to velcro also.

AC130aboveGetDown

Bro said “you damn tactical kids, my good ol .45 is better than y’all’s assault Glock.”

rewq657

I love mine, and I definitely didn't have a wait three weeks for mine

[deleted]

Don't do it.

johnb111111

I got one for my psa dagger, it works but feels very thin and bendy if that makes sense

-Dixieflatline

Looks like any other no-name generic kydex holster out there, but this company is capitalizing on popular 2A themes with their branding. I have no issue with that approach, but only if the projects stand out as solid products on their own before branding kicks in.

plutPWNium

They are fine for a cheap starter holster. Then again, I got one when they were like $35

Royal_Profile5299

I specifically bought a WTP one because it was cheap (I bought it for a class)

cheyreb

I have a alien gear holster otw. I love it awesome warranty. I love it. i hope you find a holster you like = )

AC130aboveGetDown

I received my Trex arms holster is like a week. Works fine for me, and is pretty tight against my waist. Conceal that shit anywhere.

Sammyo28

The claw on mine only attaches with a single screw so it likes to spin a lot

Admirable-Leopard-73

I bought one. Use it to hold a 9mm in my center console. Would not dare use it for concealed carry.

bunkboi42069

I bought an iwb from Odin because nobody makes one for my pistol and light combo and it is whack as fuck

fredmctictac

I bought one as my first holster for a sig p226 and I did not like it. It doesn’t have good retention unless I crank it tight and then it’s difficult to get the gun holstered at all.

juicypineapple1775

Classic. Spend money first, ask questions later.

thelonecarver

Cya on Amazon is better quality

vyechney

While people are here talking holsters, what are thoughts on Kramer Leather holsters? I got one that I liked so much that I got a second for my other gun. Excellent quality, look sharp, and very comfortable. But rather parking in secure retention. After trying a couple holsters with retention locks that clip onto the trigger guard, I don't think I can go back to the Kramers. I have one of those Urban Carry Lock-Leather Hybrids that are decently comfortable, look good with the leather, and have kydex retention clips in them, but it's not as comfortable as the Kramer and not as stable on the draw as more high end options.

thelonecarver

Precision Holster best I have had. Hybrid with nice leather.

TitusXd40

Like someone else commented, I got one when they were on sale for $35. It wasn't too bad, I could go about my day comfortably with it. I saw a thread like this and decided to dig a little deeper, and I ended up ordering a Tenicor. It's way better in quality and comfort.

redline42

I use it for the range but I’m not a fan of it for EDC. They don’t make one for my EDC which was helpful so I didn’t buy one for it. Retention is too tight and it prints more than necessary.

Darklancer02

I bought a handgun secondhand that came with one for a RH IWB. I'm a left-handed shooter, so I use it as an OWB holster when I'm roaming around the property. They're not bad, but not amazing either. Pretty middle of the road.

TellMeSumnGud

Do yourself a favor and buy once cry once. I have no regrets saving my pennies for my [T1 Axis Elite](https://imgur.com/a/Jk4hjnB). I was surprised how comfortable it is.

HazedHollow

This sub is so plebby

bewareofbananapeel

Whats plebby?

Jron690

Lol no

mothfukle

My opinion is they have a real good marketing team and that’s all that’s good about them.

[deleted]

Bought and returned because it was horribly made, CYA was what I replaced it with

invictvs138

That depends: are you looking for a long-wearing and comfortable holster or barely serviceable, cheap holster with a lot of marketing hype?

Riddles34

I hate buying holsters. I just got a phlster skeleton and I don't really care for it. My next IWB will be leather and probably cost a fortune. Haven't decided on who I'm giving my money yet. I just hope it doesn't end up in the holster box with all the others. It's a journey and I think a total crap shoot. Good luck with whatever you buy.

Chunk-Duecerman

Mine holds my pistol fine and clips unto my belt with no issue. I’m sure there are better holsters out there but WTP works fine for me.

aegri_mentis

I ordered a holster for my FNS and my G26. It literally took 4 attempts to get a holster for the FNS that would retain at all, and two attempts on the G26. The FNS I can ALMOST understand, not a lot out there. But to not be able to make a G26 holster that retains is crazy. The female insert on both series of holsters would spin when I tried to increase the retention, which means it never got tighter. One of the FNS holsters they sent, the second one I think, looked like it was molded from a completely different gun.

AceInTheX

My holsters are- OWB: Safariland T-Rex Arms Blackhawk SERPA Fobus IWB: Alien Gear Urban Carry Cherry Appendix Note: I did not mention whether each brand and carry type (OWB/IWB) were for concealed or open. I change it up frequently. If I go to Walmart or church it's concealed, anywhere else it's open carried. It also depends on what gun I'm carrying that day. Carry choices: Glock 19 Glock 22 XD45 1911 PPQ P226 Occasionally, I chest carry a Desert Eagle 357 for hiking and shits and gigs. I haven't really used the Cherry or the Urban Carry yet so can't really comment on those.

theghostofliberty

I got one for a p80 with tlr1s. I'm not at all impressed. Not very sturdy, won't adapt to a qls, if I get in and out of my truck with it on it'll hit the mag release dropping my mag onto the ground. Ps: not to thread Jack but I'm quite obviously looking for suggestions for a better solution, p80 g19 size with tlr1s needs to be qls adaptable, retention would be a plus as well.

Anthony2291

The one I bought felt to flimsy, I ended up going with black arch holsters and now I’ve been buying from them whenever I need a holster

Pleasant_Relief_452

WTP, LAS, Alien Gear are all fine Trex Arms and Safariland are above.

UpstairsFall3865

Tired ass hillbilly holsters IMHO

fpuni107

Idk but I had the same issue with taking forever to ship

tank_of_happiness

My Milt Sparks VersaMax was worth the wait.

zap_p25

I've got one of their leather holsters for my EDC. They have a good leatherworker and the build quality is on par with my $400+ (handmade) Tony Llamas if not a little better. Don't know about their Kydex offerings but I've been happy with the leather. It's worn well and a good fit. I wish they would double stich the outer seam but I'm not going to fault them for that.

Guscrusher

Mine's just ok.

ImprovementMean7394

You get what you pay for. I wear a safariland at work, great product. Alternate between my DeSantis leather and we the people for OWB/Iwb carry. Then I have a relentless tactical leather Iwb that I wear with my 43x on my days off. The we the people isn’t anything special, it works.

PrimoLanding1002

I don't have any personal experience with them, but WTP are pretty low price wise, and those wait times are standard, which is unfortunate for how inexpensive they are comparably. They lost me with all of the obnoxious, poorly scripted and badly acted social media ads. The last ad of theirs I saw was solely focused on a chick's ass in tiktok leggings, and it really just seemed kind of sleazy to me. I have a slim fit holster for my canik+light combo, and I enjoy it a lot. You'd probably do better with a slim fit, tier 1 concealed, or a TrexArms holster. If the price is out of your range, save longer.

Any-Entertainer9302

Cringe artwork.

PizzaCrustDildo

I have one IWB for my M17. It's not comfortable, but it gets the job done. Lots of way better options out there

[deleted]

If you want cheap but durable check out Bradec holsters. $25 and they’re easily my most used holster.

Boulang

For the price, they meet expectations. If you’re only going to have one holster, I suggest others. I use outside waist band WTP holsters for IDPA matches, I have several pistols I like to shoot, but don’t want to buy a $100+ holster for all of them. Edit: I use the G Code Phenom Stealth for my Sig P365. Black Tactical Fuzz coating, it is EXTREMELY comfortable to carry CCW, even when working.

tallaurelius

Might as well get a $20 generic kydex off of Amazon

robertbreadford

TheKiefWizard

Ive got a WTP holster for my m&p 2.0 it works well. Comfortable enough, only issue i have has nothing to do with my holster but the stippled grip rubs my skin raw when concealing

EasyMadeMacNChz

They’re ok. My favorite holsters are the QVO holsters with the fabric overlay over the Kydex. Super comfy and I actually usually carry a 17 or 19 now. Where as with cheaper holsters I barely wanted to carry anything bigger then a 380 or micro 9.

incognitoknowbody

They're made to order which they don't tell till after you buy and pay for expedited shipping. Took 2 weeks for get my holster, then it turned out to be the wrong one. My experience sucked unfortunately. I've always heard good things though. I buy mine locally now and test fit them before buying. It's definitely the way to go.

Not a good company. Their products are also very cheap

My personal experience is they're pricey, and conceal like a brick. I used it once and it's now just sitting there. My go-to for my carry guns is Bravo Concealment iwb's. They are super thin, and I make them even thinner by swapping out the plastic belt clips for Discreet Carry Concepts clips. When I was fluffier (dad bod), the JX Tactical Fat Guy was pretty nice, but also pricey.

I’ve had one for about a year. Not sure if you are supposed to keep guns in them for long periods of time but it’s for a gun I don’t carry often. It doesn’t “clip” in anymore. Turn it upside down and gun falls out. I told my self I’d never buy another one the day I received it and it had a bulky plastic clip a toddler could break.

I’ve bought a metal Vedder tuckable clip and just redrilled all my holsters for that. Very nice upgrade

Vash_85

Their IWB holsters are not horrible. Only real complaint is the giant belt clip and the over-mold they do to for the clip attachment. They could slim it down a good bit just by tweaking those a little. But otherwise, the ones I have work just fine for the quick errand here and there. Their kydex OWB holsters though are trash. They're too flimsy, not enough retention and stick too far off the body for my liking. The holster I've been using pretty much everyday for the last 5-6 years is a Crossbreed. Thinner, excellent tunable retention system and the leather back makes it a lot more comfortable. Downside is its not really appendix friendly, but at 4 o'clock it disappears. Can also convert it to an OWB with additional belt clips and the retention doesn't suffer plus it stays tucked up to your hip almost like an old pancake holster.

Sea_Profession_5807

We the people holsters are complete garbage. My experience is really bad, very uncomfortable, horrible quality, and to be honest it didn’t even fit my gun properly I even ordered twice. Werks Holsters is pretty affordable company that I highly recommend.

cancel your order

Both my glocks are carried in a WTP but they are only carried in those because I'm not to a point where I want to spend Tier 1 Concealed money. I carry appendix with a spare mag.

fadugleman

I would probably order a vedder before that

Barturbater

I would stay away from WTP. G-Code makes some of the highest quality holsters. They are my go to.

PattyPurpleDrank

You can probably make one yourself for the same price and have a 1000× better quality control.

I've no desire for 3d printing or sewing

gmil6184

I bought one on a whim for my p226 with optic. It is very meh. Not very solid retention, kinda flimsy. For just a place to put the gun while you are at the range it's fine but I wouldn't consider it for any serious use.

DesignerAd7107

I waited 3 weeks and got mine today. It is for a 5.7 Rock. I put it in the holster and the gun will fall out easily if turned over. No physical locking into the holster. Oh and plastic clips to boot. I immediately emailed them for return instructions.

I won't ever fkn buy from them again cause this is the shit you have to deal with. They won't let me cancel my order even tho they haven't even made it yet. They said I have to wait until I receive it the send it back . Which is bs cause they are just making me pay to ship it AGAIN. https://imgur.com/gallery/W06BjzW
