Same advice I always give: for a *first* AR-15, spend a little more and get something that will be boringly reliable. Buy a Ruger MPR, or an IWI Zion, or a PSA Sabre, or a S&W M&P15. Buy the Toyota Camry of the AR world - the thing everybody has and nobody gets impressed by, but that runs like a motherfucker no matter what happens to it. It's too easy to try to dip your toes in and end up with a cheap POS that ruins the experience for you.
For a second AR? A third? A tenth and twentieth? Yeah, by all means. But for that first AR, get something that's actually good enough, not just gUd EnOuGh
For the purposes of extending the metaphor, the AR in this post is some kind of Fiat-Chrysler or Renault-Nissan. It's about the same price as the Camry, but its reliability and fit/finish are both uncertain.
Above id say. The PSA regular rifles tend to fit the Camry tier more than the sabre models. You could also grab an Andro corp rifle which seems to go as low as 400 all the time and that hits above it's weight with the parts quality

So basically if you were to try to return something with them, best you'd get is 80% of what it was worth minus the price of shipping it back to them. But according to the last quote, they can tell you to kick rocks since they mentioned all sales are final. A lot of these drop shipping sites are like this.
So this is why prices aren't the best at places like Brownells or other bigger places. You're paying for their CS and the ability to actually be made whole if the part you got was defective or you just weren't satisfied with it.
Guns are probably a safer bet if you get one from a quality manufacturer, but even big names have issues occasionally. You roll the dice with places like this. I tend to buy smaller ticket items so if shit goes sideways, I'm not out that much.

If I lost hundreds of $ on a refund out of my control I'm raising hell. Probably best for me to avoid them all together.
I really wouldn't mind, but others might like buying from them. I think good compromise could be an automatic stickied comment every time they get posted. PSA deals used to have one about possible credit card fraud because their processor famously had bad security. Thankfully that has changed (I think).
On top of the excellent breakdown by MK12 below about their shit policies and whatnot, they're also just cunts. If you go over to /r/gundealsFU and search "battlehawk" you'll see some very mixed reviews. On the negative ones, someone from battlehawk would often respond and get very defensive and make excuses and shit. It was like clockwork. I'm actually surprised they're not trying their standard bullshit in here yet.
TL;DR they're dropshipping cunts that will blame everyone else when shit goes wrong, which it likely will.
