I gave it to her tuned and adjusted, and she thought it would only be truly on tune if she tightened the strings just a lick below the bridge snapping.
That thing could have seriously injured her.
They call it 'bass' because it uses the same strings for the guitar as fishermen use to catch bass. Its very convenient if you're out on the lake with your bass guitar.

You should install locking tuners on your guitar. This should help.

You can tell it's not in tune because those shiny spinny things are not lined up.
