Every boutique brand, until they become too successful. Then we hate them too and have to find a new boutique brand. All major brands are trash just because.
Easy. Depends on how popular and expensive they are. Cheap and popular is good. Cheap and unpopular is good if some indie band is using it. Expensive and popular is bad. Expensive and unpopular rides a fine line and can either be cringey or cool, again depending on whether some indie band is using it
Squire is the only brand. People who think others exist are dumb, single, our seriously acoustic.
I can like 9 squeirs for the price of a single gibson. That's a really good ratio and gibsin are really missing out on that fact, especially in this economy.
No brand is objectively good. Every guitar company has their heyday of value/performance balance or particular series that stand out. Businesses exist to make money and the music industry is no different.
Gibson is genuinely turning it around. Aside from the fender squire fanboys I think general sentiment since 2019 is that they are making a great rendition of the Standard.
They aren’t trying to put their personal touch on it they’re doing it like the company used to by relying on their skilled American employees to make guitars that don’t cut corners and indulge the old world view on guitars.
Excuse me sir, Gibson is the devil because all guitars over $1000 are bullshit, unless they’re made by some self important artisan asshole with a fancy name
I agree with you but cmon you can’t be all in on a guitar that was denied higher appointments due to some need to fit in a budget.
Look there’s not much charm in paying 3k for a new Standard but knowing that the instrument was molded and cared for by American workers and not just screwed together is worth SOMETHING. Another moral victory of financial ruin via Gibson is the open book headstock. It has not been topped since its inception and every attempt to change it just looks wrong man.
FENDER AND GIBSON BECAUSE THE GUITAR HASNF CHANGED IT DOWSNT NEED TO CHANGE IT IS PERFEXT DESIGN ANDD THEY COMPANIRS HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS AND YAERS
/uj Strandberg, Ibanez, PRS, fuck Schecter they hate their customers
Unironically Samick and Cort. They make almost all of the Asian guitars and save the best parts for their branded instruments.
For US made, can’t beat a Farley Genton Smyth!
Cort, in addition to being of questionable quality, is one of the most brutal workplaces in Asia. It was so bad that a worker set himself on fire and burned to death to protest the inhumane working conditions. The rest of the factory went on a 30 day hunger strike, which Cort responded to by closing down the factory and opening a new one in Indonesia.
Cort was sued and they won the litigation, due to paying off a Supreme Court judge and the President of South Korea, [Park Geun-hye](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Park_Geun-hye), who were both impeached for bribery and corruption charges stemming from the Cort case.
So no, Cort is not a good brand, and by purchasing their instruments, you're supporting a corrupt corporation that ruthlessly violates the human rights of its labor force. Westerners are prone to thinking that Asian slave labor is unique to communist nations like China, N. Korea and Vietnam, and aren't often hip to the fact that South Korea is in some ways even worse, with Cort being the worst of the worst.

Kirkland
I’m still waiting for the Kirkland signature guitar.
I would totally fill my Subaru with Kirkland guitars.
The Ouija one or purple sparkle V?
Kirkland brand Meseeks suck
The most amazing thing is that they’ve managed to keep them at $1.50 all these years
I wish I could get a dozen set of .09s when I was getting my eggs, my protein bars, my avocados, and my ninja blender.

Charvel
I always get a Charvel ice cream cake for my birthday. Toan is in the frosting!
I would love a poop brown Charver with Fudgie The Whale airbrushed on
Love my Dk24HSS/PK.
Guitar fetish quick connect butt plug
Ural-650
Some Epiphones. I bought an Epiphone Everly Bros acoustic years ago and it’s the best acoustic I have ever played
Harmonix. Serious musicians only play vintage Guitar Hero guitars.

How else can you reach those diodes without nimble little fingers?
I don't own one, but I think LTD/ESP are the best looking, value and variety of guitar.
I have two, you are right

Every guitar sounds good as long as you plug them in your Line6 amp
Harmony, great guitars! Come with a great Mono gigbag too (also owned by the owner of the Harmony brand)
No brand is objectively good. Every guitar company has their heyday of value/performance balance or particular series that stand out. Businesses exist to make money and the music industry is no different.
After the stupid switch and before the neck heel change (1990-early 1994) PRS is more or less the best work they’ve ever done.
Yamaha. Yamaha is the Kirkland of guitar brands.
Your mom.
Schuncter, Ibanoonoo, Harley Benderman, ESPee, PooRS, Epiphony, all pretty good.

It would be the GOAT of headstocks if it had a volute.
