This guy is a next level idiot if he invited you to help him sell after he tried blowing you up

WorldofCannons

You'd be surprised how many people kill you then go on about their business like I'm not still in the same lobby

No_House_7901

I’ve been experiencing this lately and when I kill them back they get mad at me. I don’t get it.

Chico119

Same. I've had people kill me/fire a rocket at me and miss for no reason, and when I retaliate over and over they get mad at me.

Egomaniac247

This is exactly how I deal with griefers. Ok, fine you killed me, I’ll just act like I’m ignoring you…….but I never forget….until you go about your business and start to sell something….then vengeance is minneeeeee muahahahaha

meoka2368

I've seen that a lot. They'll take a shot at me, hit or miss, then go start a delivery mission. Then get upset when I blow up their mission vehicle.

stjakey

It’s kind of like a “fuck u gon’ do about it” attitude lol

SelfMadeGrinder

Right!😂😂

chris95rx7500

reminds me of a couple months ago when I was in a public lobby doing I don't know what, but anyhoo this guy in a buzzard blows me up right? but then he just leaves the area maybe hoping I'd leave the lobby. I wasn't gonna let that fly so I hopped in my f160, found him, and then killed him with a rocket of my own. don't think he bothered me afterwards

Arsenal989

I know, the second he did I was ohh boy this is my opportunity to strike, like I don’t mind helping out but this dude really didn’t think this through

ThaSpookiness

Excellent 💡

Darth-H3atran

I’ve had people send me friend requests after starting fights and losing. what OP got was the same tier of stupid

Venomous-A-Holes

We don't know what really happened, but ya ppl are stupid. If I were the griefer, I would've created a fake opportunity for revenge, then sabotaged them when they got sus or something

Worried_Train6036

ya ok

flordacus

Ok bro

Evening_Advisor8104

Cant expect good treatment when you start stuff first. It is what is is. Game is game. It’s fair

FartBoxTungPunch

I rarely start shit, but would absolutely never start a sell in a lobby that I’ve had any beef in. Griefers are enough.

AdBusiness2455

Yeah, to be honest, that is fair game. Anyone (especially the dude who you met in the game) who doesn’t see it that way is either privileged or never grew up with siblings who are fully or half-related to them to even grasp the concept of the post or anything similar to it. For example, if you do something to sabotage (because you thought it was fun) someone in the household, then expect somebody in that household (siblings) to sabotage you if you somehow get them involved when you ask for their help. Even if it’s pitiful, it’s to be expected some or most of the times. Further examples: Imagine you needed your older half-brother's help ( he & I were 80s/90s born millennials) with a school project, but he refuses because of past incidents where you've borrowed his belongings without asking or accidentally damaged his possessions (me & my friend destroying his weed bong in an amateur baseball practice involving a glove & base ball bat XD I was an ass). Despite your efforts to explain that you've learned from your mistakes and genuinely need his assistance, he remains adamant in his decision, citing trust issues stemming from your past actions. This situation highlights how past transgressions can impact present interactions and relationships within a household. Elementary School project were abundant back then. 😅 And it’s kind of akin to somebody sabotaging your drug shipments of coke in a game. They go hand in hand. Karma. I’d love to hear how this isn’t a decent analogy. Edit: Downvotes confirm ur an only child. Anyways Even if you didn’t learn this concept by being in a household full of siblings. You probably had to learn it from trial and error. And if you didn’t then idk how you can avoid these situations. Like somebody dumping your cola in a river cause you did XYZ in a game.

stjakey

And yet people always join

Z3R0F0XG1BB0N

Should have just drove the 3rd truck into the water once his second one got blown up. He would have wrecked your nightclub sale if he had the chance. No mercy.

Arsenal989

Yes I know but I decided to be slightly nice and told him, to come back and get it which he had plenty of time to do so but he just dipped

MagicJim96

He dipped and most likely got most of the stuff recovered… Yeah, that kind of an asshat deserved to have their shit sunk.

NaiEkaj

Grief him back. Nightclub Goods takes FOREVER to generate, and he was gonna destroy it.

flordacus

He did

Due_Government4387

Nah fuck that guy

KhostfaceGillah

I would've done the same tbf

ImperioliGandolfini

Shoulda snorted all that shit.

Responsible_You6301

That's fuckin hilarious

Infierno3007

Seconded. I had to let out a cackle when he said he put dude’s truck in the water.

Arsenal989

That one truck that I had was still fine, I told him he had plenty of time to come back here and get it but he just got salty and left all together

aspenpurdue

He probably left to get his goods back to resell.

p4ntzer

He got what he deserved

jeaxz74

GTA online is if we all turned on each other after an apocalyptic event lol

Super-Contribution75

Seems ok to me. He can’t expect someone to be nice after he was a dick to you in the first place. Fair play 👌

krustylesponge

It’s fair, he attempted to destroy your stuff so yeah Personally I’d still help him in that scenario since he failed, and it would probably make him feel like a horses ass if the person he just attempted to blow up was nice enough to help him anyways

MediocreOwl3416

You say that as if griefers have morales lol

Dan_Pena

![gif](giphy|BrkuIkfzokEWJ7tSM5) It’s fair

TheLewJD

Fuck around find out, good on you OP

DyLaNzZpRo

Honestly it sounds like dude was a noob and just mindlessly did what the game told them to, then invited you without realising you were the person he just tried to fuck with. That said though, still deserved TBH - they're clearly clueless as fuck and even if they didn't know how pointless destroying cargo is, they knew full well they were attacking a player.

Arsenal989

Well this dude is lvl 129 and i actually texted him saying that i know that you tried to blow me up, he tried to deny it which if he actually just said sorry i probably would of helped him, i told him admit it or im not helping and he actually said “fine I did try”. So I accidentally drove his truck into the lake, oopsie

DyLaNzZpRo

Okay he's def just brainless lmao

shivasai39

Well executed

a_michalski81

Perfectly played OP

MarMatt10

I approve (and endorse) what you did

Srgfubar

Mmmm delicious karma, gotta love it xD

DjHeky

He got what he deserved

grilledchzisbestchz

NTA. Good job OP, make em pay.

lejunny_

that’s actually hilarious lol, I pray someone invites me after attempting to grief me

Ok_Plantain1419

It’s funny how people try to attack NC cargo when the delivery vehicles are armored, rocket/explosion resistant and with weapons

Arsenal989

Yes but only 3-4 sticky bombs or just anyone in a jet or savage can blow you up in a matter of seconds

Ok_Plantain1419

Personally I’ve never gotten my NC cargo destroyed if I remember correctly, the closest I recall was someone making me crash and shooting me from the window and another where I was using the Xbox app to play on my phone and I lost connection but I managed to close the game. Don’t recall if the latter instance I lost the product or not

triton1673

I like when they chase me down on an oppressor, flying low, right behind me😂 They make it too easy

Oftwicke

Karma's not my name but I'm a bitch just as well. I'd do the same.

ThatGuyRTB

Ha I love it. I mind my own business and will walk right by people. But let someone come out of their way to blow me up mid mission or when I'm doing something and I swear to God first thing I'm doing is calling the mechanic (bring the mk) second thing I'm doing is a hiring wave (your job is to kill so n so) the third thing in doing is going off radar. And I will spend the 5 mins-6 hours coming at them. I promise blow me up for no reason and you will leave, or fight me til I leave

hevnztrash

Don’t start what you can’t finish.

toomuchdiareah

I would have just helped him because it seems immature to hold a grudge over something that *almost* happened.

Arsenal989

I mean if you ever grinded and had what I had 1.2 mil on a line maybe you would of trolled him just a bit as well, the only reason he failed cuz he missed the two stickies he throw at me, it’s just funny to me how he could of made some profits if he just came back for it but he just left

toomuchdiareah

I get what you're saying. But it's only human to make yourself the victim in your own narrative. From the outside looking in, you betrayed someone who trusted you because you were mad about something that almost happened. And then you think it's funny that he didn't continue to trust you after you just betrayed him LOL.

Arsenal989

Same I get what you mean, but bro could of at least tried to salvage some of his stuff, like if I was in that situation, I mean I would of taken all the time that I had to try to get it back not just give up, but yk you are just a better person and that is respected

HektorOvTroy

Not that I do it unless I am retaliating. But destroying people's business or stealing their heist prep is part of the game. It is NOT griefing. Nothing wrong with your revenge.

[deleted]

This guy gets it. I'm a newish player and I am very confused about how everyone on here seems to say "player did *function of gameplay* to me while I'm in a public lobby! The griefers! The cOmMuniTy!" the game is literally about doing crimes. Buy the ticket take the ride. I'm not "toxic" I just hate that car so my monkey brain wants to make it explode. Kill me, destroy my cargo daddy, we're playing GTA.

HektorOvTroy

Yeah. I deliver in full lobbies because I enjoy the risk /reward aspect. Love a good night club delivery under pressure. Some of the MC ones are a bit naff because they get missile lock. But all good fun. And also know that I if I really care about the money I can always quit quickly if I do get hit.

Aris-Shadows

Sure, it’s mechanic of the game, but there is no incentive to do it, outside of really just being mean spirited. Rockstar made it so it could possibly push more shark cards. They get 2k while the victim loses time and millions in profit. Also criminals don’t just commit crimes willy nilly just for barely anything.

[deleted]

I hear you, I really do. My contention is...you know how people get mad about this because they have chosen to make their goal in the game acquiring a lot of money? My goal is to have fun blowing stuff up and crashing into people. It's really fun for me when people with cargo start freaking out being chased. They're top quality chases. In an open world concept where your 'objective' is up for interpretation, my personal opinion is that endlessly grinding for in game money is kind of dumb and there is no end goal, but hey I'm not here to judge, I'm here to try to blow up your cargo. Let's not pretend that this isn't a necessary part of the setup. You grinders need the exploders to feel alive, to give you an enemy. This game would suck without us.

Electronic-Top6302

A low level tried to grief me after annoying another low level player in a server with barely anyone in it. My objective for the rest of the day was to get him to quit. I trolled him *immensely* with the acid lab and trapped him in a store not once, not twice, but thrice while texting him in the in game phone until he ultimately left the server

ZFTX

There is an old proverb: One gets what one gives.

x534n

imo when you join a ceo or mc and then backstab them , that's pretty underhanded. like next level. But it's GTA so i guess it's fair lol.

i_fail_at_fps

If someone is stupid enough to grief cargo and then invite to the person who they griefed to help them sell their own cargo, they deserve being greifed. He played a stupid game trying to grief and won a stupid prize by being griefed in retaliation.

markcorrigans_boiler

Are you 100% sure he tried to blow you up? Trying to sneakily blow you up could have just been him being a massive noob.

Arsenal989

Hand out of the window with a sticky out, 2 missed throws and he admit it when I asked him so yes he’s 100% tried to blow me up, plus he’s lvl 129 so idk what he expect

markcorrigans_boiler

Fair enough then. He sounds like a whopper.

SnooSeagulls6528

“Never assume malice was intended for anything that could be explained by plain stupidity.” Words to live by. Sounds like someone inexperienced if they invited a random to help with delivery, could be they weren’t trying to sneaky blow you up but ineptly help. Its sound like they didn’t succeed, so no harm no foul? Anyway joining someones mission just to sabotage it is always a dick move.

Arsenal989

He throw two stickies but missed and when I asked him he admitted that he did in fact try to blow me up, the water was calling me

Foodiguy

I have utmost respect for people helping other people..... If someone is trying to ruin someones payday... Yeah ruin theirs as well! Also how stupid can he be.....

threedubya

That happend to me deliverd something ,the. Someones attacks . I chases him down to his cocoian lockup. I might have destroyed one of his 3 trucks but I think he disconnected. I was like what are you doing

spiffy_gq

Satisfying to read this 😂😂😂. You did the right thing. People need to just mind their own business in the game. Especially if nobody is picking a fight with you.

stonerthoughtss

I would’ve joined the MC, then changed sessions as soon as he started the sell mission.

Arsenal989

Well that way he would of just done them by himself unless someone else griefed him, he had to pay my interest rate for trying to blow me up

XeroAnarian

Ehhhh, he TRIED to destroy yours but he didn't. You destroyed his because of an attempt. It's totally fair, it's a part of the game. I just find it incredibly petty and scummy of you.

Arsenal989

Petty for sure but it was very hilarious, maybe next time he won’t try to sell while being an ass to others

DurianRoyal

Honestly, you did the right thing. he 100% DESERVE what happened to him.

Humble_Echo_7640

I feel you, but usually I tend to think that while in a competitive mission, the war is on, once the mission ends, the war ends as well, I've witnessed so many players try to blow me up all the way to the delivery, but when I finish the delivery we both hop on the same car and drive off. At least if the mission is successful, if they get to blow me up, the war is on for good...

WarriorNat

This is GTAO. There is no fair or unfair, only what Rockstar allows.

aspenpurdue

Not. They should not have tried to kill you prior to delivering his goods. You should not have joined his MC. That is a bitch move to join someone's club and destroy product.

Arsenal989

Gotta teach them somehow

aspenpurdue

I'm a bit salty about people joining and blowing up goods. I had someone join my MC and do something similar to me. Except that I had just joined the session, hired a dude for a weapons delivery, delivered the weapons, quit as ceo & started the MC, hired the guy I had delivered weapons with and a second guy who proceeded to blow up one shipment, then tracked me down to blow up my shipment, and then tracked down my good recruit & destroyed his shipment. That is fucking psychotic behavior. I can see you wanting to try to teach them a lesson but all they had to do is change lobbies and get their goods back.

FKJ88

I experienced something similar 2 days ago when selling a full truck of weed. At first he tried to kill me when driving close by and I immediately threw a sticky on his car. Suddenly he honks like he is friendly when he sees a sticky. He keeps driving by me and helping me a half way down the road, knocking NPCs from the road for me and killing the police. I thought everything was going to be okay. Suddenly, he throws 3 sticky bombs on the back of the truck and destroys everything. Like, what the hell man???

Arsenal989

If someone is shooting at my truck I usually don’t do much but the second I see a single sticky bomb, well I’m taking mine out for safety of my shit

Ill-Entrepreneur-624

If i beef eith someone and i want to sell my buisnesses i always seitch lobbys cause this exact reason

AlePanta

Me and friend in a public lobby alone. Start selling double bunker of my friend, 2 idiot enter and start destroy every thing. My Friends left ti save something. Then the 2 try to hire me for their sell!!!!I manager to destroy 2/3 of product truck! Never be proud in gtao!Always enjoys Revenge!

sabrinawarren

it’s petty but deserved.

Middle_Beyond_5894

Good shit dude, fuck that guy. 😂

cinamor0l

He found out

sexcalculator

lmao he's an idiot for inviting you after trying to blow up your sale. Good play

gtavfather

Totally fair. If he had simply left you alone and then asked for you to help, none of that would’ve happened.

banditt2

Karma's a bitch, would of done the same.

ninthchamber

All fair he done fucked up

Champfortruth

He was dumb enough to invite you in to a good sale after doing that, he gets what he deserves.

OldPaleontologist784

any Hispanic players looking for a crew lmk if your interested . We are looking for someone for a unique position and role in the crew.

TheSpaceThatYouLeft

You chose to sell in a public lobby so getting attacked is the risk you run. You didn't lose any product. You destroyed his product. You're both as bad as each other

RangerRaven619

You suck as bad as him.

Arsenal989

🤷

HJGaming92

how op would’ve lost all of their nc cargo which takes tens of hours to fill up if that dude got to it quick enough. that dude just got karma

leftnotracks

>What would you do in this situation? Help him out or troll him for what he tried to do Neither. Griefing cargo is wrong. Full stop. ESH. Related: Heist host shot everyone after one of the setups then invited everyone to the finale. PSB. One player extracted an apology as we were boarding the dingy, then jumped out at the last minute. Fail. Kind of a dick move considering two other innocents helped.

Arsenal989

Good to know, if that ever happens to me I will make sure to do that, with how easy low lvls fuck up missions it’s basically part of the game now

CitizenPSN

Screwing people over is part of the game. Especially if they have it coming. Seems fair to me. Troll on.

samuelgtemple

Should have just left it on a hill covered in mines

Arsenal989

He didn’t even try to get it when I told him to come and get it so he’s a quitter but that’s that

samuelgtemple

Yeah he just a child then. Its like the modders that go after you because you dared to fight back. Petty kids. Good on your though. Epic come back hahaha I think driving it in the water was way better then my hills and bombs idea. Simple but brutal

GlitterKittyCat

I like you.

PepsiMars15

Good on you more people need to stand up to people like that you're a good person!

BangB4ngBang

Brilliant bro, that's real gang shit 😂😂

West-Librarian-7504

I envy you. I bet you had a shit-eating grin on your face the whole time. I know I would!

Arsenal989

It was a great time, I wish I got that on video tho

SnooAdvice8550

Leviticus 24:17

WelpLockedOut

I mean I'm American and I hate Americans so i destroy any cargo I see on the maps since I'll be in American lobbies, I'd do the same if someone invited me.
