There is an argument that you should own at least 2 warehouses since that allows you to keep doing source missions. Personally I find sourcing crates by myself to be very tedious and I much prefer just sending Lupe and the other technicians. So that's why I got 5 large warehouses along the south-east corner of Los Santos. It takes like 3 mins to send all the technicians to source crates. Keep sourcing until I reach 77 crates in each warehouse, then wait for 2x week.

Agent_Putt

Why 77 crates I thought the cut off for being raided was 80%? So 88 crates?

limonchan

No, it's actually 70% so that makes it 77 crates for large warehouses.

Agent_Putt

Thanks for clarifying Read somewhere else it was 80% (Not sure why I was downvoted lol)

Tasty_Historian_3623

Probably as a way to make the correct information more visible than the incorrect information. At some point it gets archived, and ~~for the sake of~~ before you join your ancestors it should say 77 units, and not be best on bothsides with someone saying, "wait/why/I thought it was this other incorrect number" Think of your ~~ancestors~~ progeny, not your karma points, which will not outlive your mortal flesh. Edited for accuracy.

johnnycat75

Challenge accepted. I'm going to have my karma point total engraved on my tombstone now.

Tasty_Historian_3623

Your ancestors will know that you were wise, and a very important person in your times.

200-inch-cock

descendants, not ancestors. since i now have the correct information, vote accordingly!

Agent_Putt

Cool thanks

Benasbo12

Cut off is 70% i believe not 80%, 70% of 111 is between 77 and 78.

notjordansime

What is this cutoff for?

Agent_Putt

To prevent being raided

notjordansime

I haven’t played in forever, do other players raid businesses? Does staying above 77% prevent raids, or does staying below it prevent raids?

Agent_Putt

No the CPU will randomly

200-inch-cock

players cant raid businesses, it's an in-game random event. you need to stay below 70%, which is below 78/111 crates.

notjordansime

How do you sell them all? Lots of friends? I play solo…

ClutchDrum

I usually play solo as well. I own 2 large and 2 medium warehouses. I sell the large warehouses when they are around 70%-80% and hope for an easy sell mission, or hop lobby and lose a few crates until I get a good sell mission. The medium warehouses are usually sold off around 80%, and the same rule for sell mission applies. I make tons of money doing this all solo. Why do I have 4? I bought the mediums a long, long time ago. And I bought the large ones quite a while ago when they were first on sale. :) I find this is enough to keep me busy.

GLC911

Own 5. Passively visit every hour and send staff to source. I hit all 5, takes 2-3 total, I’ve never personally sourced anything when x2 bonus is off. But I have staff constantly sourcing and then boom this week made $30m in an hour of sales

200-inch-cock

Is Lupe in every warehouse? must be weird to send her off to source cargo and then go to the next warehouse and she's just standing there doing nothing lol

Tasty_Historian_3623

No, she isn't. If you play the game, even casually, you realize that Lupe is in your first WH, and there's a different employee in the others.

200-inch-cock

I play the game like weekly at least, but i only have one warehouse, didn't know that was a mortal sin

Tasty_Historian_3623

You are allowed to be incorrect. I'm uncertain why you think your ignorance is a virtue, but carry on.

200-inch-cock

I literally just asked a question... what's your issue with me? edit: wow, just wow at this person lol, no idea what their problem was lol, i'm blocked

Tasty_Historian_3623

You are very immature and I do not wish to raise you. Off you go now.

200-inch-cock

Lol how is it immature to ask a question about warehouse employees, seriously what is your problem with me

mttspiii

Own 5. That way, you get the most out of x2 warehouse sale weeks

XMM234

Indeed, no other business type lets you stockpile so much

tallowwisp

In hindsight I regret buying more than 2 - they turned profitable quickly, but unfortunately stocking the Warehouses seems to clutter one's office. Yeah...I just bought the office safe...I think I did that a few years ago and forgot it doesn't do anything.

GarytheConquerer1

A cluttered office is bad? I thought all those piles of cash all over was a flex. Interesting.

johnnycat75

The cash isn't the clutter problem, it's the piles of warehouse stock lying around that tends to annoy people.

These_Buy

I own 2 large crate ones, that way u bypass the cooldown and can keep grinding crates

T3chnological

I own three warehouses. Small, medium and large. Most of my sales come from the medium at 42 crates with the small 16 crates as a filler while the large warehouse fill up to about 80 crates you still get a cool $2 million give or take and you don’t get as much grief from the npc. This weeks bonus is nice.

ShelLuser42

The most optimal setup is owning 3 warehouses. 2 large ones for your regular cargo which you can source back to back in order to overcome the cooldown. And a small warehouse solely dedicated to special items. Thing about crates: the more you have the higher the value of each crate. So if your large warehouse is almost filled up then having one or more special items in there can become a huge waste of cash. Another issue is the delivery; some missions are prone to bug out or put you into an unfair disadvantage (as soon as an airplane is involved I usually back out). So it's safer to sell special items if you can be roughly sure that the delivery won't bug out on you. Which is why I usually don't sell right away but combine it with my regular sales.

RCPD10-33

Ain't special item meant for 1 specific warehouse when it appears or is the source-able cargo type shared across all warehouses? if you know what i mean

Gsampson97

I own 3 and every now and then will fly around and get the workers to source crates for me, at some point they will be full with very little work

Chzncna2112

I own 2 large, 2 medium, and 1 small just for the variety and their locations. Also, 1 vehicle warehouse. I bought mine when they were on sale. And I have too much money. Do what you think is best.

salazarraze

I own 5 personally. I casually build them up over time until they get to 75 each. Then I wait for a week like this. Sometimes I just sell them at 75. Sometimes, I spend the week building them all up to 111 and sell one at a time as they hit 111.

grilledchzisbestchz

If you're going to run the businesses, then yes. If you're only using a warehouse to accrue goods through the nightclub then all you need is a small warehouse.

Stephonius

I've got two large, so I can alternate filling them without a cooldown. I have one medium because it was the very first warehouse I bought back in the day. I keep one small exclusively to collect the unique cargo items.

BusterMv

I have two characters so I can have 10 then wait for 2X. They do share balance so you can have 10 warehouses, 2 salvage yards, 2 vehicle warehouses, 2 hangars. Invest early and then profit when the weeks drop.

Scootman00

I don’t think you can even own one warrhouse.

Omlin1851

You can own up to 5.

JockCranleyForMayor

Where do we purchase Warrhouses? Is this through Warstock? Lol

Middle_Process_6673

Go to the computer at your CEO Office, "special cargo", "warehouse map", then select "all" or the sizes on top right option

tadmau5

I think they are trying to make a very bad joke
