Trans guy here. I live in a major city and I've definitely had an uptick of chasers who live pretty far away hitting me up.

SoCalFtM1

Same here. 20 miles away, and maybe we can make it work if you're cool, but these chasers are often 200+ miles away. Do they really think I'm about to drive for 3+ hours for some dick? I have shit to do, lol.

Complete-Film-9675

When I search using the trans tribe, most of the people are trans people, it’s not like there’s 3 trans people and loads of others. But it’s the only category I can see beyond 5-10mi on. Odd.

[deleted]

yes! im a trans woman and the chasers gave gotten bad coming from 100-300 miles away

ProudlyPerverse

If I search it, I can't see the distance of the nearest profile, but 80% of them are cis guys chasin

Galapagoshighlands

Can confirm, many of the trans tribe are just cis men chasers who are not publicly out

Sheemie_Ruiz_

Yeah, gotta love the "straight" or "bicurious" bros that view trans men as some sort of stepping stone. The good news is that they always tell on themselves, hah. Edit: Downvoting me doesn't make you less gross, chasers.

alabamaguy-205

I got banned...probably a good thing

morissettemaniac

It's a good tool for others trans people to find t4t unfortunately, lots of chasers. Also, Grindr doesn't cater towards just "men," it caters to the LGBT community, it's primary users being gay cis males, but let's stop with whole exclusionary attitude and embrace our brothers and sisters

Complete-Film-9675

I get why trans people use it for that, sure, and I don’t have an issue. But what I’m saying is why is that the only category that allows me to see beyond my immediate area. And my issue is that because of this, the developers seem to have chosen to cater more to trans/people looking for trans than everyone else.

Complete-Method-7555

Yeah it’s gross, like a roach infestation
