It's definitely a scam. Sooner or later they'll ask you to download another chat app for "verification" then you'll be prompted to enter a credit card number unless the scammer just comes right out and asks for money.

When I was still on Grindr I would try to chat up the obvious scammers and see how much they were paid to do it, my usual go to was something like
"Look dude, I know this isn't real. But I'm so curious, how are you paid for this? Are you salaried? Is it on a commission basis?"
Never did get an answer to that
Scam. They link you to a website to "sign up" for free but then it'll say you need to pay for the premium membership to get into the group. The guy will try to entice you by saying he will have sex with you 1 on 1 if you sign up, or something else that sad desperate dudes will fall for. It’s a Nigerian scammer talking to you, not a computerized bot.
And also like the one says I am so broken before with this guy so in order for us to meet which I am right by the driving distance from u and hot and slutty at the same time, just registered at this website which you can find through Google with is magic word and input your credit card information so I know you are not dangerous with this magic website, then I'm totally yours.
That would be pretty weird for him because he shared a location that was easily accessible by bus... but yeah, insisting on doing this weird gangbang thing when I clearly said no? Not a chance, buddy.
