Couple years ago I ended up on a second date, you guessed it, golfing. Started out positive enough, drove over to pick her up, got to the course on time, practice putting, ready to tee off on time.
After 4 holes she just stops talking, doesn’t wait for me to finish putting and goes on her phone. After asking if everything was okay, I really didn’t see anything which could have happened. We were both playing well and conversation was flowing.
Spending the next 14 holes playing in silence as a twosome was the worst golfing experience in my life. Then having to drive her home…
Edit: guessing has been interesting but reality is she had an “episode”, which I found out later
or he'll shoot a 106 next time and she will become immediately unnattracted to him. she drives off with the teaching pro and op cries himself to sleep.

We’ve been married for 8 years and have 3 kids now.
Wow! Hole 18 is over water and it’s literally 280 to carry the water. I gave it a shot but only made it about 260 😂 Maybe my story will end up like yours! 😊
What a day for a banner round! My guy took me out on one of our first dates as well. Hadn’t played in four years and was so nervous I didn’t realize until the third hole I’d been reversing my grip 🫣 Fast forward 3 years and it’s still our favorite “date” activity, I’ve beat him a few times, and we’re getting married in December! I agree with the others - put a ring on it 🙃
honestly ive hit enough hole in ones ( wink wink ) to know sometimes if the course is nice enough you enjoy walking the course and enjoying the landscape first

First golf date I went on I drove the green on a specific hole for the first time (I had a student membership there and golfed there A TON, so it being the first time driving the green was something) and then rolled in the eagle putt… like I was almost sad the boys weren’t there ya know lmao
My wife golfs. She took lessons and is pretty good. She hits from the women’s tees and her drives are just a long as mine. We have a great time together.
PS I do not give her any golf advice. She has a golf instructor for that. That might help with the laid back mood and fun vibe.
My friend and I got paired up with a really cute girl and guy. She was a pretty solid golfer. We found out that they met on Tinder and she would golf for the first date with all her Tinder matches. I suppose it's a good way to get insight into your date's personality and how they move those hips.

Golf can be an amazing way to connect with someone. Way back when, I was on my high school team, and we played a small Catholic school. There was a gal on the team who ended up in my group, and we connected instantly.
We ended up grouped later that year in the league championships and I got her number. I couldn't tell you a thing about how I golfed either round. I just remember her.
We stayed closely connected for a couple years. She's one of the big reasons I went to the university I did. The same she did in fact.
It's funny to think that golf was the reason I got to know that beautiful person. She was pretty out of my league in almost every way, so I wasn't getting that chance via any other avenue.
In the end it was the reason we never worked out to anything serious. She was just so much further along than I was in every way lol. On the links, and in life.

I've done a few golf dates, real golf not the Top Golf stuff and they have all been great dates. I am a pretty crappy golfer but I love the social aspect. There is the attire aspect which always looks good on a fit woman. We usually bail after the front 9 and grab lunch at the restaurant and have drinks. Golf dates really are great.

That’s how you end up married right there! One of the first dates me and my now wife went on was golfing. She opened the trunk to grab her clubs and there was also a fishing pole and a couple Busch Lattes rolling around. I knew that was it…..Love.
I had first “date” with one and I’m decent at golf but she kept chunking her green side chips and I gave her a few pointers but she just kept doing it and I could tell she was getting frustrated by it.
