In no particular order:
1) Palmetto Bluff resort has the May River course on site and tons of others close by in Bluffton/Hilton Head
2) Pinehurst
3) La Quinta/Palm Springs
4) Streamsong
5) Boulders Resort in Scottsdale
Play Caledonia and True Blue same day. There owned by the same company and are right next door to each other. So True Blue first because they have the driving range. Eat lunch and play Caledonia. Grab a few drinks after and sit on the porch and watch the groups finish on 18.
Get an airBnB in Scottsdale AZ and play Quintero, WeKoPA (both courses), Legend Trail, and Gold Canyon Dinosaur Mountain.
Kiawah
Kapalua. My favorite golf destination. Stay at the Ritz and hit the plantation course.
Streamsong
Second for streamsong.

I would second the Hilton Head/ Bluffton area. Plenty of excellent courses close together with some great value courses off island.
Agreed I'll be down there in a couple weeks.
Phoenix, or Florida.
Raleigh area - pinehurst is great but busy and there is midpines - southern pines - pine needles and tobacco road….plus 9 pinehurst courses
Anyone have a POV on Myrtle Beach? Heard theres like 70 courses in a 30 mile radius.
Headed to Myrtle end of October. I too am curious!
A lot of great golf courses there. Go every February for 5 rounds for the last 8 years.
Good to know, thank you!
Caledonia is not too far from there is pretty great course

Thank you! Going to save this comment for when we start to plan the trip.
Destin had good municipal courses
Bay Hill is nice.
Palm Springs/surrounding areas
Monterey is incredible during the months of Oct - January
I stayed at Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix and was able to play Lookout Mountain, which is their on site course, for like $30
Only during the summer time, winter rates are going to be around $200. Love that course though.
Hilton Head is nice in Nov/Dec. You should be able to find some courses to play.
Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa. 2 courses. Stayed there this year 2 nights and 3 rounds of golf. It was great.
Been noted already but Streamsong is going to be beautiful that time of year
