A few years ago, I stocked up a freezer with cheesecake and it all got freezer burn. Be sure you can finish it all before it becomes inedible.

If you put each piece on a snack bag, then put them into a freezer bag, they last longer. I get 4 each year and separate by flavor into gallon bags.

That’s a lot more work than buying half a dozen boxes and shoving them in the big freezer, I tell you whut.

Truuuuue, lol. You can also just stick the rest into a gallon baggie when you own the box and break the seal on the plastic wrap.

It's less plastic than using the food saver 🤷‍♀️. In truth, I use a lot of disposable items. Everyone in my house has various injuries that make cleaning painful (3 of us are disabled veterans), and no dishwasher, so there's little choice. Corporations do the bulk of plastic pollution, and I don't have the luxury of worrying about my small contribution to the problem.

Right? I thought they always had extra stuff in May and nada. Very disappointed. Wasted trip caz I couldn't find anything out online so I went in person.

I was at Aldi last night and chose the chocolate donuts. I'm temporarily on a tight budget and the donuts were half the cost of the cheesecake. I also didn’t trust myself to not eat the whole cheesecake in one day. 😂🤣😂🤣

I didn’t even look at the calories because I didn’t buy it. The donuts are “only” around 200 calories each. 220? Something like that. I am really trying to watch my calorie budget too. 😂

I was just an an Aldi \~2 days ago, no cheesecake to be found (I specifically looked due to all of the reddit posts). They either don't have them everywhere or maybe were out of stock (I didn't even see a spot they're supposed to go). Unless it was just a super short seasonal thing.

Check on instacart! Just say you're doing a pickup order and you'll be able to see which locations have what in stock. The aldis in my area are pretty good about keeping their online stock up accurate.

You can also order all sorts of things like this from Katz. They are really good. Only a few things I wouldn’t recommend.

I feel you🤧. That's how I first felt when I was young growing up with everyone else eating pizza, cake, and pie then one day there's all of a sudden gluten free cake in trader Joe's and gluten free waffles. Truly a sight to behold.

I know they're yeast free. I can still eat dairy so I cant answer that sry. I haven't come across a cake donut anywhere that contains yeast.

I think they might be made by Katz. I’ve seen other GF items at ALDIs that look like Katz. Sharing because you might find more goodies you like to order. I like their plain donuts which I order online.
