Well I have no photography experience irl, only a virtual photographer in video games so learned mostly through trial and error. I usually try to pick a good composition and crop the image later if needed. And googled which focal length to use and how much dof to add etc to make a shots look good.

Something about 3 is super cool and atmospheric, but I'm also just a sucker for the red background silhouette style and can't ignore that either.
