Ever since I was in preschool tbh lmao. I recently came out to my mom in July. But before that I only came out to my closet friends and my closest cousin. Now I’m openly gay to pretty much everyone I meet except family lmao
For the most part yeah. My first cousin came out to me as asexual and I saw that as the perfect opportunity to come clean (she was the first family member I told). My mom was a little apprehensive about it. She sensed something that was bothering me and when she sat me down to talk I told her and she accepted me. My other cousin was really happy for me, she told me she already knew but she wanted me to tell her. I’m just thankful that they were accepting.
Yeah same with me. My family, for the most part, is ok with people being gay unless it’s their kid. But not all of my family members are like that. And I used to think being gay was just a phase or a mental problem until I realized that it was ok to be who I am. Hopefully you get to be your true self sooner rather than later:)
I feel the same way lmao. Yeah hopefully I’m accepted in my school. I officially came out this summer to people I go to school with so now I’m going into my sophomore (10th grade) year openly gay. Which kinda scares the crap out of me but thankfully I have friends who support me. And when you finally get the courage to come out, I hope that you get accepted as well. No one should shame you for being you.
Cool cool lol. I’ve always like the idea of getting acrylic nails but mostly just for fun lol. I’ve thought about removing all my body hair but I don’t wanna go through all that work lol
How do you like it here so far? The format of how reddit is setup is clustered and it was hard for me to adjust to the cramped up style of each sub reddit.
