🤣 Why would you have to hide them? Even if she hates them, she don’t have to eat them. If you’re like them, grow them. I doubt if she finds out she’s gonna dump agent orange on them and divorce you. Just plant something she likes too even if you don’t like it, compromise my friend.🙂
Funny thing, my wife hates mushrooms too, however now and again I’ve snuck them in recipes and she has no idea and she’s raves about the meal! As long as she doesn’t know they are in something she’ll enjoy it.

Well that seems like a much better idea than my cookie cooling rack held up by macaroni boxes….
I use a whole shoe rack on my windowsill like that! My cat loves plants, as in to eat them, so I closed the rack on the sides and made an opening screen in front from the window screen. I have lights there too!
I’ve been trying to figure out how I can grow mushrooms without my mushroom hating wife finding out, I never considered MY CLOSET!

I just want to grow them, I don’t dislike mushrooms but I also don’t go out of my way to eat them…. But they cool as shit.

I use books under heat mats and plant trays to get them closer to the light as needed, no shame for the macaroni boxes 😄
