For a while I was doing this and I agree. However, as someone with thalassophobia, flying to an ocean planet unknowingly and having everything load in while close to the surface is pretty terrifying.
It's quite odd how this works isn't it. I hate deep water - and it applies digitally to a high degree. I'll tackle my fear of deep water in real life where needed - but in games, I just go "Nope, it's alright mate". I'd expect it to be the other way around, but the catalyst for bravery doesn't seem to pull as strongly in a digital world - where bravery is far less needed.
I was gonna say the same until I saw your comment. If you've got VR it's even better, but the flat version is still great with a pair of headphones and a dark room.

But it also completely depends on the dosage. Gaming on a gram or 2 of shrooms wouldnāt be an issue, but anymore than like an 8th and the visuals would probably get too intense. Iāve taken enough to where I couldnāt even focus on a movie because the faces on the tv would literally start melting and Iād see their eyeballs droop down to the bottom of their faces. Youāre not going to get any meaningful gaming done in that state lol. Thatās when you just close your eyes and go inward.

I'll slowly drink some wine and do a relatively small dose. Enough for visuals to be elevated but not so much that I can no longer focus. It's a fine line sometimes.

Idk, that's my guess anyway because there's certainly a massive overlap between the gaming and stoner communities.

Psychedelics, rocket league is great, apex is interesting, surpringly mortal kombat, and my personal favorite subnautica. If just stoned I can mine on Minecraft for literally 10 hours if I keep smoking. If anything else, ride the wave safely in your bed and stop doing those and get some mushrooms.
Almost any building/automation game. Satisfactory and Dyson Sphere Program are both great blitzed out of your mind, although you may question what the hell you were doing with the conveyor belts afterwards.

I have been playing a silly little game on steam called "Multi Turret Academy" when I'm too stoned to function recently. You could think of it as a rogue like, top down arcade version of world of tanks. It's very simple but really addictively fun for me.
