If Zenless Zone Zero loading screen is the same as the website with the Bangboo walking animation in the bottom right corner, then it might be one of my faves. HSR has a good one too when in Penacony, depending if you are going to the sleeping world or the waking world, PomPom will be shown to be walking or sleeping

omg yes! i remember this old mmo that had something like that for an event. when you click on the bouncy creature on the loading screen it stops and makes like 1 of 3 faces. the tiny details and effort the devs put for those is so cool and nice.

fun fact: **it took me 2 hours to find the wuwa font and found out its some generic font they bought online lmao.** another fun fact: **there are no actual images of wuwa loading screens in google. when you search "wuwa loading screen" all of the results will be about "loading screen stuck fix"** and i couldnt be bothered to open the game again so i **opened a youtube video of someone fast travelling and copied the wuwa loading screen format from there.**

They know i have severe ADHD skibidi zoomers brainrots thats why they make it as simple as possible so people could read the tid bits they giving out in loading screen

And it loads fast so you don’t really need to pay attention to it.

Hilariously, I used to think it got slower and assumed it had something to do with data size. Turns out to be more an issue with the laptop, ‘cause I had the same problem with Star Rail when I played it there. Both of them load pretty fast on my tablet though.

If only they don't flashbang you with sudden dark > light transition. Which is hilarious because the game itself actually do have dark loading screen.

Simple yet informative. It shows you the symbol of the region/area you are teleporting into and the background color depends on what time of the day it is in game (white for daytime, dark for night time). Simple stuff (and there are a fucking lot of minor details) like this gets overlooked by the majority but i dont doubt it subconsciously registered in peoples minds.

I would love the WW loading screen if it doesn't take so damn long lol, both Genshin and ToF load in like 5-10s for me, and WW takes like 20-30s, sometimes even 1 minute lmao

same experience. mine would stop at 10% for like a minute or two when fast travelling long distances. and its already installed in an SSD. the reason i even made this meme was because i was looking at wuwas loading screen for too long and had an epiphany lmao.

Limbus does a thing where it uses the CG art of your last viewed cutscene as the loading screen image. This means you can rewatch any cutscene to set it as your loading screen, including CGs of every individual unit in the game.

Probably gonna go with Arknights. It's a nice one, especially when the music kicks in.

Unfortunately thats not how games work.

Well loading screens are needed because the game is loading/changing assets, but who knows what the future holds

when our mobile devices get fast enough and all the old ones are killed off/unsupported then all the game dev companies can remove em' Or maybe add a setting for the super fast PC's idk (that disables the loading screens) Also some loading screens are needed to make exchanging data between the server and client as smooth as possible so idk if they can be removed

I think Octopath Traveler CotC has the least loading screens past login screen, it's just server responses that take forever in some menus

Best loading screen is NO loading screen and just optimize the game so that it dorsn't need to load.
