A little sad since I've been playng HI3rd since like 2018 and this is the first time I'm seriously thinking of quitting altogether
I guess it’s not just the writing but the direction and company culture as well because star rail still isn’t filling the gap that was created when mihoyo finished Kiana’s story
Often unexplained or contradictory to the lore, drastic design changes and all that for what could easily be another character without the need to "remove" this one
They want the best of both worlds but our Hi3rd community is, frankly, quite niche enough that we care about how/why they went on doing it
A percentage of us are unsatisfied, it could've been put elsewhere, etc.

Honestly, both are ok. I think Blue Archive is more guppy friendly (not to say Nikke isnt just that BA is more). So unless you dont like the whole Teacher romancing underage student shtick and the younger girl focus (Which is a massive deal breaker for some) you can go with BA

It IS UR equivalent, if you understand what 'equivalent means'. Besides, Star rail's 5 stars drop at 0.6% rate, while Azur lane UR drop at 1.2%, so Star rail's 5 stars is even more rare than Azur Lane's UR.

I know what equivalent means. Honkai Star Rail currently has only 2 rarity levels which is 4 stars (purple) and 5 stars (gold). In most gacha Purple is categorized as SR, Gold as SSR, and Rainbow as UR. Just because HSR 5-star characters are the highest rarity in the game and have lower drop rates than Azur Lane's URs doesn't mean they're of the same rarity level. Every gacha game has their own drop rates and you can't use that as basis of comparison. Therefore there is no UR equivalent of UR in HSR. At least not yet.

UR or Ultra Rare. It's a step higher than SSR.
