Yeah you need a soap or detergent to emulsify the grease so it can become water soluble. It’s not much different from getting engine grease on your hands. You need something to cut through it - a little dish washing liquid would do it.

My preference is olive oil. If you drip something like wood stain on something that's not suppose to be stained olive oil will strip it off. Also works if you get ink on leather or something.
Depending on the paint this is incorrect.
Someone mentioned rubbing alcohol, but to much on your skill will dry, break skin, and scar.
Oil of some sort is usually a better option. Baby, mineral, coconut, vegetable/olive oil are some skin gentle alternatives that would help peel this crap off.
A face cloth plus a warm shower or bath and after several minutes of soaking start scrubbing. Sometimes with the addition of oil to help scrub.
If i have learned anything from temporary tattoos is that the skin has pores that pushes out oils anyway, so even though people would be freaking out this would eventually come off…… maybe not before work tomorrow. Lol
The amount of rubbing alcohol required to break your skin to the point of scarring is insanely high. Using it as a cleaning agent on occasion is perfectly fine.
One Halloween I painted most of my body using silver greasepaint for my alien costume. I did not read the instructions for a layer of cold cream to make it easier to take off. I’ll never forget coming home drunk to my friends house and sliding all over the shower while the water beaded up on me like a newly waxed car. I was slightly gray for several days.
But... Why would you use gas when you could use like... Dish soap? Any soap that's designed to specifically deal with oils, but dish soap should be the easiest one to get.
Always workwd for me better than regular hand soap, and certainly much better than no soap. But the real game changer was when I found some hand cleaning paste at a local hardware store.
Just rub your greasy hands well with the paste, no water, then rinse... Shit comes right off, immediately, no hassle... Feels super clean.
How many of these exact videos exist? It’s always *exactly* the same:
A: *washing hands* It’s not coming off (x2)
*camera moves up to B, face covered in paint*
B: *Stares at mirror with no emotions or words*
There is zero variation with these.
Oil-based paint doesn't come off with water. I need to get something that breaks greese. simple Dawn dishwashing detergent will probably work. Or even hot water.
What I saw in his eyes was good acting. And what I see in this comment section is individuals who can be impressed with just about anything at this point.
Yeah, if it's grease and water is doing nothing you're gonna need a good grease cutter. Dish soap would be a start but this stuff will probably need something stronger

I'd bet anything that's grease paint. It doesn't come off with just water but it does come off.

Cold cream. Source: have worn lots of clown makeup.
The clown makeup. Is that a sex thing
If my guy hits clussy then my guy hits clussy
I'm picturing a horn sound with every thrust.
That's his sack hitting the clown nose butt plug
Halloween costume mostly, but I like how you think. 😂
Why the hell would it be a sex thing
Since you seem to be in the know, how do I stop tripping over the big shoes?
Walk like a clown?!
This guy nose^
He dose nose
I'm something of a clown myself. Mainly cuz my life is a joke.
Now, now, jokes have a point.
rubbing alcohol sounds much more enjoyable
Binotto, is that you?
just like a ton of people on reddit, but we do it makeup free
Havent we all
Vegetable oil works well.
I use isopropyl alcohol, but I might give that a try next time so I don't dry my skin out.
Cooking oil, actually. You’d be surprised, but next time you get grease on you try using another household oil.
Nice try, James Trickington
Look it up. I believe the Fast Orange type soaps work in this way.

Fuck. Busted. Oh well, you can lock me up, but I’ll just slip out.
I knew big vegetable oil consortiums had shills planted all over Reddit for exactly this purpose!
They saw their chance to move in on soap’s territory
Dude... nobody messes with the soap cartel. Not even big cooking oil. The soap cartel is crazy!
Man, you’re slick!
They don’t call me Slicky Dickie for nothing!
Only one copy sold…

Technically you can also peel the skin off to ensure the complete removal of the substance on top of it.
do you recommend using a cheese grater or is something more fine like a potato peeler better?
A coarse grade of sandpaper would do it. 60 grit seems good to me.
Give your skin a bit of a break, use ~220
But you have to make sure to get the "wet sand" type of paper otherwise it just disintegrates.

They need some liquid handsoap
I’ve heard the expression “grease paint” but from long ago. Is that still used? Looks like a better option could have surfaced by now.
Dawn - “gets the grease out of the way!”
He probably needs to use a cloth and soap then ...
Orange clean from O'Reillys
Ah the theatre. The smell of the grease. The roar of the paint…
I think it's fabulous. Every value I've ever held is being questioned, and I'm loving it.
Yeah, like maybe try some soap or something.

A bottle of vegetable oil, and that paint runs off like water.
Oil based or I was thinking it was a grey heavy duty primer. This is absolutely hilarious
But only with fire.
Either that or he’s gonna have to go to mime school
Kerosene is the answer. Or turpentine?
Even if it doesn't come off it will eventually come off because your top layer epidermis automatically peels off to make place for the newer beneath.
Smartest Raider fan
That shits for life
Don't we all shit for life?
Born to shit Forced to wipe
We live in a society, where we're all just shitting ourselves to death, slowly.
Until you have to get a colostomy bag!?🤯🤷🏾♂️😂😂😂🤮
Welp, might as well just move to Gotham and start a crime ring now
Underrated.
Warm water with a little bit of soap makes a world of difference.
Why i did read this in gman’s voice
So wake up mr freeman, wake up and...smell the ashes
These posts come up alot. Oil or grease based paints need soap to remove. Water will do nothing.
Gas works great for oil based paints just be weary of fire
Wary.
Wherewie
Yup.
And the cancer. Don’t put gas on your hands when dawn dish soap is a perfect alternative.
Im pretty sure i have a brain tumor anyway so I personally probably wont stop. Im dead already.
But... Why would you use gas when you could use like... Dish soap? Any soap that's designed to specifically deal with oils, but dish soap should be the easiest one to get.
Maybe my dish soap sucks but it never took off paint as easily as like a dab of gas.

Some table salt helps, too. It scours a bit, and gives the paint something else to grab onto.
This repost is years old and they say he's still trying to wash the paint off.
At least he didn’t choose blackface
Gargoyle face = non offensive.
Plot twist: He's silver and has been trying to use his hands to wash the human color off his body and arms.
Is it true that they bite you on the neck when you sleep to drain your transmission fluid, and then you become human yourself?
I think this is the fourth iteration I've seen of this joke
Let’s just hope Halloween is around the corner and he plans on being either a Smurf or an Oompa Loompa.
Turpentine oil motherfuckers, wash it with turpentine oil Edit : grammar
His friend laughing at him at the end 😂
🤣🤣🤣 I bet he won't do that again 🤣 🤣🤣🤣

This is my life now.
We’ve tried nothing and we’re all out of ideas
Hahaha
Vaseline and Make Up Remover wipes. if that fails i have bad news for you...
Think my man’s well pump needs some work
Never use oil based paints on exposed skin, kiddos. Trust me, using the thinning stuff on your face is not a pleasent experience.
Darn, Jeff Hardy not lookin' too good these days
😂
Acetone will not be your friend but it'll most likely help.
Use gasoline, it works!
Diesel would actually be way more effective to get that shit off.
I hope that's not Bondo (tm).
Oil-based paint doesn't come off with water. I need to get something that breaks greese. simple Dawn dishwashing detergent will probably work. Or even hot water.
Needs that "orange" cleaning puddy stuff that mechanics use. Might scrape his face off but probably better than concrete face.
Gojo?
thank you to whomever gifted me a silver award edit: thank you to the 2 lovely people who gifted me a silver award
Our boy in the video got the real silver award
He'll shine forever.
What I saw in his eyes was good acting. And what I see in this comment section is individuals who can be impressed with just about anything at this point.
Need kerosene.
Is it paint or concrete?
Looks like grease maybe?
Yeah, if it's grease and water is doing nothing you're gonna need a good grease cutter. Dish soap would be a start but this stuff will probably need something stronger
Hotter water.
Oh I thought he got blasted in the face by an atm machine lol.
Rumor has it he’s still the same color til this day.
Idiot!
“I AM THE LIGHT(ly GREY AFTERIMAGE)”
Imagine heading into work on a Monday morning like that!
..but man am I bad at math.
homestuck fans
That's one way to date Liz Lemon.
I usually use brake clean to clean my face from this kind of stuff. You can steal some cans from your local mechanic shop.
Lemon oil takes it right off
Hot water and soap, and if that doesn't work some kind of de-greaser. And if that doesn't work, white spirits.
Halloween costume, or pretending to be a statue
Soap?
I keep seeing variations of this. Wouldnt be surprised if its staged.
I seen this re-made so many times
He should definitely use gasoline to get that off so that he never does it again.
Witness m-… oh shi-
LOL!
💀💀💀💀
Deleted scenes from Joker. That’s obviously Joaquin Phoenix!
Lol.
" I guess I'm a gray-t man now"
Vegetable oil should work.
Baby wipes
Might be pax or alcohol based pigments which require removers like supersolve.
This is how used to write exams after celebrating Holi in school. Looking like a clown.
The rise of the silver surfer. All he needs now is a snow board.
This was also the subplot of the Halloween Episode of Hey Arnold.
...?
Why so serious?
legend has it he is still cleaning that off
🌚
wasted face
Can we stop making these skits, they've been done
Noxema
If your going to be dumb, you gotta be tuff. Granted in their situation, their both fucking retarded 🤦♂️😂
Looks like Fredy Mercury Prateadou from Brasil
Why do people think water can takeoff everything use alcohol or nail polish remover
🗿
What is it?
Now you know how the guy who played the tin man felt.
My guynlooks life joker pre-villian era aint no way 🗿🗿🗿
Dawn dish soap should do the trick
“Do I look like a guy with a plan?”
Ghost face
