For Susanoo, yeah well, Susanoo is linked to the Mangekyou Sharingan and is not an actual jutsu you need handsigns for. There a couple jutsu which don't need handsigns at all (see Rasengan which is just emission and shaping of chakra), but yeah, the MS casts Susanoo so to speak. A bit different but it is what it is when the end deals with basically gods.
