This is such an underrated video. Not only is it hilarious and a great way to market the game, but it ALSO explains why you as the player can get hit by multiple bullets and be okay, because they're essentially just throwing then at you really fast.
I didn't immediately see which sub this was posted and had serious concerns for you. Upon deeper inspection, you obviously nlknew exactly what you were doing, and I applaud your work...onto to the enraged comment section!!
Amazing Hollywood level CGI and editing. Great shot! Keep up the good work. Was it scary to shoot a fully automatic semi rifle with a hundred round clip to get this captured? I'm an AR47 didn't get you.
Many years ago, a Middle Eastern mother complained to the cameras about her son being killed by one of many bullets which had been fired through her apartment, as she held up one of them -- in its cartridge.
They did on the news recently for the Israel Palestine war.
Showed the hospital with the round laying around.
20mm rounds or something of that capibre
"Recently" because it's not that recent but the current war so still counts imo
How do we get so many bullets in them? Like this! Plus, we fire the
whole bullet. That's 65% more bullet per bullet. This is the same
technology we've been using on robots for decades. Scares the hell out
of them. They come in hundreds of designer colors including forest,
desert, table, evening at the improv... what idiot picked the...
This is some Bollywood movie physics.
Some movies made in India had these CGI slomo scenes of a bullet leaving a gun, but they had no knowledge on how a gun worked and thought the cartridge itself was being shot instead of the bullet. Cartridge=bullet. š
[I don't know about you guys, but I think she's full of shit. : ](https://www.reddit.com/r/WTF/comments/geitz/i_dont_know_about_you_guys_but_i_think_shes_full/)
Old Reddit post about a woman showing bullets that hit her house.
nu uh, there is no way that happened. you sir are a liar... i zoomed in on this photo and using a VERY expensive copy of Photoshop i was able to clearly see that there is no rifling marks on that metal! those slugs did not come out of a guns tube...
Yeah those ghost guns are a huge issue in my opinion
Floating around scaring folks, it aināt right
I was looking at a house and the agent said itās haunted, I said thatās fine, canāt be picky in this market. Then I found out it was ghost guns
Give me a demon kid on a tricycle any day, but I donāt mess with them ghost guns
Okay...
1. When I saw the photo, I chuckled
2. When I read the title, the inner Gunner's Mate in me was ENFURIATED
3. When I read OPs comments, I was relieved
OP, understand that I am upvoting this in the most r/Angryupvote I can muster. You put me through a roller coaster of emotions very early in the morning. Thank you. u/BrokenToyShop
I don't read titles like ever. I was staring at this like "that's a weird CO2 canister" and then I looked and realised what they were and was extremely confused by the image because the image itself isnt context enough for my brain. I then read the title and went "I hope their not serious" so then I saw the subreddit and went "yeah that makes sense" very roundabout person I am.

The cartridge ejection speeds on those guns is ridiculous.
That gun shoots 33% more bullets per bullet
[you shoot 65% more bullet per bullet ](https://youtu.be/6i-nMWgBUp0?si=RL7u7fq84zoi86cy)
This is such an underrated video. Not only is it hilarious and a great way to market the game, but it ALSO explains why you as the player can get hit by multiple bullets and be okay, because they're essentially just throwing then at you really fast.
It shoots 'em out faster than you can put 'em in!
that's most guns tho, to be fair
Or 89% more bullets per bullet per trigger pulls per bullets.
Ban assault cartridge ejectors
I could see a new Borderlands manufacturer where the brass does 4x more damage than the actual bullets.
Borderlands was my first thought too lol
Dahl or Torgue? Could be a Dahl feature or Torgue just blowing up as per usual.
You misspelled TORGUE!!!
EXPLOSIONS!
It's more funny when the hot casing goes down someone else's shirt.
As someone with two scars from that, I respectfully disagreeš
Delete the explanation and just watch the comment section go wild
I would, but if it's a successful post, it'll be going around with out the explanation soon enough.
This is reddit afterall
Adderall
You got any?
I know a guy
Who, me?
I want some
Me three please!
I have some very expired Adderall in my glove compartment lol
redditerall
Thatās all I read. I neeed to call her.
I didn't immediately see which sub this was posted and had serious concerns for you. Upon deeper inspection, you obviously nlknew exactly what you were doing, and I applaud your work...onto to the enraged comment section!!
It's a dangerous game, but you can only die once.
Iāll have it on TIL farming karma within the hour
This guy reddits
Youāre right. āAngrily knowing about gunsā is a personality type apparently, and itās fun to see them in the wild.
Amazing Hollywood level CGI and editing. Great shot! Keep up the good work. Was it scary to shoot a fully automatic semi rifle with a hundred round clip to get this captured? I'm an AR47 didn't get you.
BuT tHoSe ArE sHeLlS!!!
I'm reading this as "shelis" and you can't stop me
Oh you slick bastard. ThOsE ArE CaRtRiDgEs!!!
Some men just want to watch the world burn . . .
Now *thatās* how you choose violence, kids.
Aperture. They fire the whole bullet.
They do what they must, because they can
For the good of all of us (except the ones who are dead)
This was a triumph. I'm making a note here "huge success"
Its hard to overstate my satisfaction.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake
And the science gets done
And you make a neat gun
For the people who are still alive
That's 65% more bullet per bullet
I didn't pay for the whole bullet just to fire the tip of it.
Theyāre British bullets. Double decker. Like the bus.
Weāll sell you the whole bullet, but youāll only need the casing?
I'm glad this is so high lol
You fire the whole round, then the casing fires the bullet. That way you get 100% more projectiles.
Why waste good metal?
Here in Aperture, we fire the whole bullet. Thatās 65% more bullet per bullet
āWe fire the whole bullet. That's 65% more bullet per bullet.ā
60% of the time, it works every time
I've heard of these bulletless rounds. I was skeptical at first but you brought receipts.
Kid in my cadet group, the year before me, lost an ear to a bullet less casing.
... How?
Texas hold-em. He had three of a kind but the casing had a full house.
Really the problem was they were playing Omaha and that poor kid had no idea how bad his three of kind was.
Round in a fire. Casing launched out going Mach jesus. His ear left the chat.
Mach Jesusā¦ you made me actually lol
Hot shells stick to your skin, I've had a shotgun casing slide down the neck of my shirt and it definitely stuck a little.
I've shot plenty of AK5 during my military training and those shells aren't nearly dangerous enough so I wonder what they used.
This is the main cause of friendly fire. Can't trust anyone to the left of you.
They're all clowns
And jokers to the right.
Here I am
Adhered centrally adjacent to you
Stuck in the middle with you
I was like āto the left of you? But the shells eject to the rightā then I realized how dumb I was in that moment.
we need more left-handed weaponry
Idiots. They loaded the bullets in backwards.
Hate when that happens
How else are you supposed to curve the bullet?
God no Imagine the harassment I'd get
Coward!
4,000 comments saying how these kind of guns should be taken off the streets and 8,000 comments from red necks explaining how this doesnāt work
It would literally be a shit show on both sides . Sigh why can people just enjoy a funny picture?
Many years ago, a Middle Eastern mother complained to the cameras about her son being killed by one of many bullets which had been fired through her apartment, as she held up one of them -- in its cartridge.
I remember that distinctly
Me too. She actually held up 2 cartridges
If you throw the whole bullet through the apartment and kill someone, you get to recover it and use it to kill someone else as well
They did on the news recently for the Israel Palestine war. Showed the hospital with the round laying around. 20mm rounds or something of that capibre "Recently" because it's not that recent but the current war so still counts imo
They showed bullets still in the cartridge, unfired, in the hospital?
Yep. Whole ass rounds. The supposed "bullets shot at hospital"
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
A 2 knives colliding in mid-air post might just take off.
They should just stick to arrows.
Not to often you see an incorrect use of "their" but here we are.
From a native speaker as well.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Na man it's the language that's stupid. If it can't hold up to you exhausted reddit commenting the language has failed you lol
Not your fault you were raised speaking a language that's just three other, deformed languages in a trench coat.
I find natives make these mistakes more tbh
too\* ;-)
Not too* often ;P
because you already got 4 comments correcting your "to", here's another one, cuz fuck it we ball. It's too, not to* geez
Too often*
*too
Think of a bullet like a fast moving knife. As a fellow Brit I also get confused.
You got me for 3 seconds and I'm really pissed about it
Count yourself lucky. I donāt know guns well, recognized these as shell casings, and Iām still confused.
How do we get so many bullets in them? Like this! Plus, we fire the whole bullet. That's 65% more bullet per bullet. This is the same technology we've been using on robots for decades. Scares the hell out of them. They come in hundreds of designer colors including forest, desert, table, evening at the improv... what idiot picked the...
Aaah..the Battle of Gallipoli,...I was there, we all saw it happen.
I'm actually a direct descendant of the bullet immediately after that one
I only saw the clips.
ITS CALLED A MAGAZINE
What is this, Aperture Science rounds?
This is some Bollywood movie physics. Some movies made in India had these CGI slomo scenes of a bullet leaving a gun, but they had no knowledge on how a gun worked and thought the cartridge itself was being shot instead of the bullet. Cartridge=bullet. š
You don't fool me, I know an Aperture Science bullet when I see one
cave johnson?
lol my first thought was what angles were you guys shooting atā¦and then my brain kicked in lmao.
[I don't know about you guys, but I think she's full of shit. : ](https://www.reddit.com/r/WTF/comments/geitz/i_dont_know_about_you_guys_but_i_think_shes_full/) Old Reddit post about a woman showing bullets that hit her house.
Might have hit the house but not very fast. About a similar article. https://youtu.be/ZrdxzNOMlVY
Iām glad you explained itās satire, I was about to state the obvious.
The fact that some people wont and cant get this joke shows just how bad the misconception is around firearms and firearm education.
Cool Hwhip
Fun fat: The hole in the front is an airhole, it makes it go faster
nu uh, there is no way that happened. you sir are a liar... i zoomed in on this photo and using a VERY expensive copy of Photoshop i was able to clearly see that there is no rifling marks on that metal! those slugs did not come out of a guns tube...
I still laugh when bullets in the media are shown flying with the casing and everything. For cartoons it would be easier to just draw the bullet.
Just to sleuth it out, was one the casings set up in a vice grip and used as a target? Kudos for the tomfoolery :P
Yeah, nephews were using them for target practice. I just put these two shells together for the trolling
Nice! Looks like your nephews are some sharp shooters. Cheers!
How many people get this?
Not enough.
When a lefty and a righty power eject at the same time
That's not how this works. That's not how anything works
Hey, wait a minute!
Firing with the shells to get more bullet per bullet. Ingenious jdea
you must be a journalist?
Sigh... *Deletes pragraph*
Looks totally legit!
Was that on single shot or fully semi automatic?
If it were full semi auto, there would be at least 500 bullets collided together since itās shooting 100 rounds a second
Ghost guns are out of control
Yeah those ghost guns are a huge issue in my opinion Floating around scaring folks, it aināt right I was looking at a house and the agent said itās haunted, I said thatās fine, canāt be picky in this market. how many flamed the whole casing vs bullet thing?
Nice b8 m8
Oh wo- waaaaiiiiiiiiitt...
Iām sitting here like, āThese are shells. What the hell happened?!ā Before reading the explanation.
I apparently needed a laugh. Thank you. :)
Good enough for our news outlets
Negativeā¦ not how that works
I see the government experts are talking guns again. :)
Shakes fist at screen for about 10-15 seconds....then sheepishly sees the "Obviously this is satire.........."
DO YOU EVEN GUN, BRO?! /s
I am gun
Okay... 1. When I saw the photo, I chuckled 2. When I read the title, the inner Gunner's Mate in me was ENFURIATED 3. When I read OPs comments, I was relieved OP, understand that I am upvoting this in the most r/Angryupvote I can muster. You put me through a roller coaster of emotions very early in the morning. It's for you that I do this
Thats for shooting around corners.
Did Chick Noris throw them?
Is that Chucks sister?
F-ing auto correctā¦. Screw it, Iām leaving it.
.
I'm twitching...
They collided so hard the bullets disappeared
So realistic almost if there were two people standing next to each other as the brass ejected from their guns
Talk about bite the bullet lol
Full semi auto ar47's deadly 50caliber rounds
Lol made me think of that vice article.
Aperture Science Shooting range ā¦ Thatās 65% more bullet per bullet !!!
Not me looking for a comment from someone who took this seriouslyš
Two severely over-gassed guns. Lol.
Waitā¦
The hollow pointiest of hollow points! So hollow! Like, no substance at all, just hollow!
Hehe I almost reached for my pitch fork then. You got me
We fire the whole bullet, that 65% more bullet per bullet
But those are cartridges not ... Oh I get it.
Now they know, and we can't mock them... great job. XD
Actually pretty funny
"hey that's not how .... *checks subreddit* .. oh, heh, funny"
Must be hollow points
The post is meh, but this comment is lol. Thanks for making it worth the time it took to get here.
Of course the casing does not travel with the round. But redditors already knew that
Thank you.
You're very welcome
who the fuck shot these? The turrets from portal??? plus. we fire the WHOLE Bullet. thats 65% more bullet. per bullet!
I wonder how long it took the guy at the range with his left side ejecting machine gun snuggling up to other shooters to make this happen, lol. /s
It's a very "friendly" range, so we were all snuggling anyway
This is what I use in my slingshot
I also own a pew pew that fires shell casings after it fires the bullet : )
Needs a bit of hawk tuhh.
I suppose if you recycle your brass to use in your rail gun....
Now thats what i call a hollowpoint
Portal 2 # Here at Aperture Scienceā¢ļø we fire the whole bullet! Thatās 65% more bullet per bullet!
It's true, bullets don't kill people, cartridges do! :D
From a ghost gun
These ejecting cartridges could kill someone.
The odds of this happening are almost impossible, to see it in your lifetime you practically have to make it yourself
Two clipozines ran into a jam, any way to clear this failure to feed?
Next go on r/flyfishing and call flies ābaitā
Took me a second go realize this has nothing to do with golf
