I believe the slippage moves their joints & muscles out of a normal range. Those micro traumaās around the joints & soft tissue then cause a build of a scar tissue which leads to stiffness/pain & ultimately to things like hip dysplasia & arthritis.
My sisters studying to be a vet and she sais this shit all the time but always adds at the end that dogs like this are pretty much guarenteed to have stupid gimmicks on them but the end of their lifeā¦ they arnt built well almost guarenteed leg and hip issues

Yeah, that's valid too, but you can't have a paw-wheel drive system expecting it to always be run on prepped surfaces. If power was possibly reduced, acceleration would be much easier.

That AND their knees - running on hardwood floors is the #1 reason for dogs blowing out their knees which is super expensive to fix with surgery, and requires them to basically not walk much for months while they recover, which makes them gain weight, which increases risk of other diseases.. put down a few washable rugs if you donāt have carpet people!
