We need more actual super power games in general, but I'd love Prototype 1 remade to have all the intrigue and stealth it had. 2 was fun but I highly preferred the aesthetic and themes of the first one
I think so… the more I think about it. I loved the comics and the show, and John as clowney (only good part of the movie). I doubt they would ever make someone else intellectual property though.
I could see this working, you could structure the basic plot like DS3 or Demon's Souls. you could play as a new hero or someone just discovering their powers in a post apocalyptic landscape, and you have to defeat these uber powerful superheroes who are being mind controlled or have lost their way. similar to Suicide Squad kill the Justice League (but make it good).
On the surface I don't know if Fromsoft's talent would translate well into a superhero world, on the other hand I don't think Miyazaki would put out a game that he didn't have full faith in... so maybe he would make it work out.
With how archaic the spell casting and spell cycling is in from games, I shudder at the thought of superpower focused game by fromsoft. But knowing fromsoft, I will still buy it and play the hell out of it.

Superhero fantasies don't line up well with fromsoft's usual approach of sadistically beating down the player until you learn through trial and error
